Due to the controversy surrounding this author and the fact that this book is now not being published I am unable to submit a review of this novel.

I will not be reviewing this as do not wish to support an author with such distain for others to the point of sabotage. A shame as this was touted to be the next big release with brilliant momentum however this has now been tainted with these actions.

I sadly won't be reviewing this one due to the actions of the author.

I'm really sorry to Daphne Press who are amazing and have had to go through a lot to deal with the aftermath.

In light of recent events regarding the actions carried out by Cait Corrain, I will not be providing a review at this time. It is unfortunate as this book sounds like something I would have loved and enjoyed but I can't and won't support the racist actions Cait has done.

Please note I had to provide a rating to submit my thoughts, I have not and will not read this book.

I do not feel comfortable endorsing an author who has potentially tried to bring down other debut authors to make themselves look better.

Due to allegations currently against this author I will not be completing a full review on this book.

I did start this book.

However, after the authors recent actions and attacking bipoc authors, I will no longer be finishing this. Nor will I read anything else by this author. As a person of color myself with anxiety and depression, I will never stand for this kind of bullying and then hiding behind mental health issues in order to get away with these actions.
