How I Met My Soulmate 1 by Anashin is a super cute and unique manga that’s all about fate, love, and finding that one person who just gets you. The story follows a girl named Nari who believes she’s never going to find "the one", until she meets a guy who’s way more than she expected. The romance feels kind of slow-burn at first, but that’s what makes it so satisfying when things start to click between them.
What I really loved about this manga is how sweet and funny it is. The art style is adorable, and you can really feel the chemistry between Nari and the guy she meets. There are some awkward, funny moments that make the characters feel super relatable, and the story does a great job of mixing romance with little twists that keep you interested.
The pacing is perfect for a first volume, enough to introduce you to the characters, give you a glimpse of their connection, and leave you wanting more. It’s not too rushed, which makes the relationship feel real and natural.
How I Met My Soulmate es un manga de temática romántica.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book.
I was not a fan of this story and could not get into it. I didn't end up even finished the first volume. The art style was nice but the story just wasn't for me.
Yuuki is at college hoping she will find the love of her life, her soul mate, because she is lonely and wants love, romance and everything else. Her friend decides that they both need to meet some men and so they go clubbing and they do meet someone who is drunk. Yuuki helps this young man who actually turns out to be quite nice but she sees him as a friend only, but is he?
This is a nice romance with good artwork and engaging characters. A nice start to the series and pleasant to read. It is a nice feel good manga.

I really really enjoyed this! I’ve haven’t been interested in a romance manga in so long, I’m excited to see how this plays out. I’m cursed for falling for the first introduced love interest so I’m rooting for you, Iori!
I’m not generally a romance fan, but it works so well in the context of the comic. Recommended visual reading for the new and familiar, and a wonderful one of the comics medium.
A refreshing manga that focuses on the idea of soulmates. College sophomore Yuuki believes in destiny and everything that comes with it. After hitting a dry spell with dating, she agrees to go clubbing with her friend. Her bestie hits it off great with a guy, but his scary friend comes across as a jerk to Yuuki. But you know what they say about first impressions. Maybe there's more to the story.
A fun romp with an unexpected love triangle thrown in. It's cute and addicting, especially for those readers who love a good romance.
I love the name of this and the art was aesthetically pleasing. I also enjoyed the storyline a lot and found it to be pleasantly different than other manga I have read.
Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
In general, I think this book deserves 3,5/5 stars. The romance is cute, the plot twists are seriously unexpected and exciting, but the main character, Yuuki, feels a little stereotyped. For being a 20 years old woman, she still acts like a teenager, and I'm sorry but I've read/seen too many similar characters to Yuuki to be interest in one more. The strong point of this manga are the love interests and the "mystery" that surrounds their actions. Are they actually telling the truth? Are they lying? What is going on? That was the only thing that kept me reading.
I'm not sure I'll try the next volume, but I would still recommend it to someone who's lookig for some quick-paced story.
Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me and I decided to DNF (did not finish) it soon after starting it.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! I loved the art style and really felt like the characters were fun to follow and read about. I think this was a well rounded first volume and I’ll definitely be getting volume 2!
Really enjoy this one!! Wasn't expecting at first but it's quite good, the drawing is beatiful and the story is quite interesting too.
Overall it is a nice first volume and I want to keep reading this author story.
A great book, that I thoroughly enjoyed! The writing was spot on and I will be buying it for my sister
Really enjoyed this one.
Loved the art work.
I also love the front cover to this.
Hope to get a physical copy one day. I have read from same author/artist, so was excited for this one
really cute art style and story! fun to read and reminds me of reading shoujo manga when I was younger :) def recommend!
How I met my Soulmate is an adorable manga about relationships and whether the destined one is out there for us all. Yuuki is a relatable character and I can't wait to see what happens next.
I loved Anashin's previous series (Waiting for Spring), so I had great hopes for this manga, and I was definitely not disappointed! There's more to every character, and they all have interesting personalities and dynamics between them.
I loved that there were a couple of colouring pages too!
My thanks to NetGalley and Kodansha Comics for an eARC of this to read and review.
Ok, this book fell prey to the mini-book slump I was in. I just didn't have any connection whatsoever to the MC h. She was looking for her soulmate, but had THREE guys panting after her and was just oblivious to it all and she was so annoying, I don't see how ANY of them would be interested in her quite frankly. I guess her milkshake was magical and brought all the boys to the yard. Lucky her.
The artwork was pretty and if I hadn't been in a book slump, I'm sure I would have enjoyed this one better.
2, it just didn't do anything for me but I didn't hate it, stars.
Wow. It's been such a long time since I got to read a romance manga set in college that doesn't irk me. I really enjoyed Yuuki as a character, she's refreshing in the sense that she is a normal girl. She's not a social butterfly, but she's also not timid to the point she doesn't socialize with other people. Also she can read context clues and knows when a guy is being flirty or crossing boundaries...I swear to god the amount of dense women in romance mangas is INSANE. Also I really love her for being an introvert + looking for love + trying her best because YES SAME. I'm also a college student just trying my best so she's my twin at this point. Also I'm still wary of Seno...will not reveal anything spoiler-y but I think this might be a love triangle (team Iori all the way. Full stop.).
Many thanks to Kodansha Comics and Netgalley for the e-ARC!
