A really great book full of useful, practical things that you can implement. Loved the humour in places too as it just made the book that bit more engaging.

A lovely easy-to-read book offering practical advice to help improve your work-life balance. It has easy-to-follow hints and tips and gives real examples, making it a very engrossing read.

For me there were no big surprises, however it's a really good reminder of actions we can take to stop work ruling our lives and help us feel more in control.

Full of useful tips on how to live a more peace life.

If you are wanting to decrease your daily stress and worry then this is for you. So tips are obvious and you will have heard before but its always good to be reminded of them.

I would recommend to not read this all in one go but to spread it out over the the year as suggested by the title.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for a free copy in return for an honest review

Some good suggestions on how to improve your general wellbeing by focusing on a better work/life balance. By focusing on what to do over the 52 weeks of the year Hopkins creates an easy to follow structure, which motivates you to keep going even if you don't manage to follow the advice every single week.

What a book!
It contains A LOT of things, all related to how to realistically maintain our wellbeing. I like the writing style, it is fun and to the point with a touch of storytelling here and there. The tone is light and there's humor in every points all the way to the 52nd.
This might be the most honest book about wellbeing that contains realistic advice.

An insight a week to help your wellbeing and balance of the work: life ratio in life. Easy to achieve ideas.

An interesting enough book, but when life and all it's dramas and stresses and traumas gets in the way, it's very hard to achieve well being, certainly for me.. It's a book for reading over a longer period of time that reviewing it within a timescale will allow so whilst I am sure it is very helpful when practiced over a long period, this one is not for me.

An interesting book. A bit like a self help guide. Read each chapter week by week. Insightful and useful to see the 'bigger picture'.

When I saw a few Kogan Page titles appear on NetGalley’s offering, of course I had to sign up for them! Thank you to the publisher for my free review copy in exchange for an honest review.

True to its title, this book consists of 52 chapters, one for every wellbeing topic imaginable, every week of the year - music to my brain! 52 Weeks is a light read, perfect for consuming in bite-sized pieces, be it first thing in the morning, during your commute, or a chapter before bedtime.

I love that each chapter introduces you to the theory / research behind each wellbeing concept, translates what it means in everyday contexts, and, most importantly, offers the reader a bullet-pointed list of actionable suggestions of how to apply these learnings to better our daily wellbeing.

The author Ryan Hopkins writes from a place of compassion, understanding, and personal experience. His writing style is friendly and down-to-earth - no preachiness here! A quote that he uses throughout the book is: “big doors swing on little hinges” — by embracing small changes little and often, we create significant change overtime. This is exactly the philosophy this book adopts and instils in its reader.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this well-paced introduction to wellbeing, 52 Weeks of Wellbeing gets a solid 4/5 star rating from me! A great book to pick up for yourself or a friend.
