This was one of those books I couldn’t stop thinking about when I wasn’t reading. Was desperate to get back to it! A lot about this one really spoke to me. It’s rare I love a book like this so much, but definitely a hit for me!

This book was AMAZING and full of twists! I honestly could not put it down and almost read it all in one go ( I would of if I had the time!). Miriam has just given birth to her second child, Samuel, and her husband Jeremy is worried that she will experience the same thing she did after she had their first child Olivia - postpartum psychosis. Miriam had a history of thinking that her child would be better off without her which led to Jeremy being overly cautious and a bit controlling over her, always wondering if she is mentally stable enough to stay alone with their kids while he travels away for work. Miriam starts to get paranoid after she hears a strange voice over their new baby monitor telling Liv that her “mummy doesn’t love her”. Liv begins acting out against her mother and her baby brother which was frightening. Miriam is then sent to a “wellness retreat” which is more like a mental institution but once she returns home her paranoia only increases as she discovers multiple hidden cameras around the house and electronics/devices being controlled remotely. This is where it gets interesting as she tries to unravel who is behind this - throw in Jeremy not believing her and gaslighting her and making her question what is real and what’s not. Their relationship starts to crumble as their trust in each other dissipates and accusations are thrown about. The ending was so unexpected and there was so much going on but in a good suspenseful way!
Highly recommend this to everyone who enjoys psychological thrillers!
Thank you to netgalley and Bookouture for a copy of an ARC! ✨

It was okay. Not your typical unreliable narrator with a gaslighting husband, but an adequate read. The person responsible is pretty obvious, although the last twist was a surprise.
I felt Miriam does some questionable things and her husband is clueless.

What a book! I loved that it was more than a thriller, it also had so many relatable elements about parenthood, relationships and trust. It's well written and just whbe you think you know what's happening, it all switches up. It's constantly moving forward and the writing style flows so perfectly that you just get sucked in and can't put it down til thst very last page!

So originally I was thinking this was yet another UK book where the woman had post pardum in the past and the husband was gas lighting her. I had it all figured out…which was partly true… but wow not the second accomplice! My first book by Rosie and I will def watch for more. Great suspense and great twists!

Oh my! What’s a read! The twist was something i never expected !! Highly recommended this read!! Kept me wanting to read it !
