Keep You Safe by Rona Halsall, an audiobook narrated by Sarah Durham is a gripping and heartbreaking psychological thriller with a twist you won't expect. It was like someone slapped me in the face! WHAT?... and my jaw was on the floor!
This is a thriller about surviving unfairness and a mother's strength to protect her child with all her power!
My emotions were on the edge all the way through! This goes straight to my 6-star list! I LOVED IT!
Rona Halsall is on my favorite author list and I am dedicated to being up to date with all her books! Sarah Durham did brilliant narrations and made this book even better. Brilliant choice!
Natalie faces the most unfair life turn and she is taken away from her little baby boy. The only thing that keeps her sane is a dream that she will be reunited with him in no time but life, or let's say, her husband, has different plans. Now her son is in danger and she will not stop until she saves him... But at what cost? Is the price worth paying?
Any thriller-loving mum will grab this book and not let it go until the last chapter is finished! I felt Natalie's emotions, pain, and hopelessness and I was questioning myself - would I be able to keep going or I would give up?

This book started off with a bang, and I was really impressed with the first half of the book. As the story continued, it was hard for me to stay invested. I think the story was definitely good, but it dragged out a bit too long. I enjoyed the plot twists; I just wish they were a little more realistic. I hope to read more by this author!

Wow. This is the best "I hate this husband" book of all time! But it isn't just him! There are some twists. It was amazing. I was so worried about our girl and her son throughout this book.
I love Jake too!
Wonderful! Oh and the narration was fantastic!
Another fantastic book from Rona Halsall, which I listened to in one day, enjoying Sarah Durham’s brilliant narration.
Natalie, the main female character was so relatable; a young mum, wrongly imprisoned, who will do anything to get her child back, on her release. She knows she is being followed though and she doesn’t know who she can trust. The twists and turns kept me completely hooked and although I did guess the baddie fairly early on, I had no idea of the extent of their deception and so it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book.
The plot was so detailed with many layers that were peeled back with every shocking twist.
4 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Rona Halsall and Bookouture, for an ARC in return for an honest review.
