A meeting under the stars, at a special place for both characters, ends in a baby surprise for both. I found the story lovely but a bit slow. I would imagine that by three quarters of the way through each reader will be shouting at them the obvious ….move in together. Why they can’t see it!!
This is a very slow moving gentle romance. Halley and Archer were at school together 10 years ago. Halley was the popular girl, Archer the quiet boy who liked her but she never noticed him. Left school and trained as a vet nurse and vet. They reunited 10 years later on a star watching night, reconnected and fell into a friendship. She realises she is pregnant,
I am ambivalent about this novel. I enjoyed that this is a veterinarian medical romance but couldn’t Archer have been the nurse? He seems a bit of wimp still hung up on her. It is a quick read, probably won’t reach for it again for a while.
I enjoyed the slow build-up of the relationship between the two characters. An easy read with a bit of spice, a surprise pregnancy, and how they worked it out.
This was your typical Mills & Boon story - if you want a surprise pregnancy, a growing love and a happy ending this book is for you.
I found it really hard to get into this book - I'm not sure if it is because of the medical premise - the main characters both work with animals in a caring profession or I just didn't gel with the characters.
The MMC was very boring and drab, if the book had a bit of a twisted tone it could of been a thriller with his love and slight uh obsession with the FMC.
Ending was cutesy and nice - would recommend as a holiday read or if you are someone who loves a happy ending with very little conflict in the middle :)
Bound By Their Pregnancy Surprise is a medical romance novel by Louisa Heaton.
I really enjoyed this novel. It was short enough to read in one sitting with an easy to follow story (a bit predictable in some places) and had a good cast of characters and enough spice. An enjoyable novel that I highly recommend.
❤️ Thank you to netgalley, Mills and Boon and the author for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I so tried to get into this new book by Louisa but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't connect. I don't know wither it was the beginning, which to be frank, is quiet boring and put me off the whole book. It was rather silly. I'm sorry but this a firm miss from me.
A slow and cute romance. Archer fancied Halley since school when she didn’t know who he was. Their reunion on a star gazing night is passionate and then they revert to friendship, if that. Their growing relationship is bumpy, but gentle and slow. The new baby is a bond that keeps them taking and exploring their relationship and they are adorable as they do it.
