This is for every girlie who grew up on fairy tales, but lives in reality. I loved how the author melded missed expectations with the real possibility of falling in love with someone who could love you back. It brought back a lot of fond memories of meeting and marrying my husband (#biceps McDaniel)! I remember thinking “there is no way he likes me back!” I could *almost* get frustrated with Everly’s lack of self-confidence, but I really just had to deal with the fact that it do be like that sometimes, ya know? Sometimes we don’t know what we’re worth and we don’t see what others can see in us. Isn’t that why we have our people? Speaking of her people… the friendship between Vella and Everly is the star of this show. I’m sorry Max, you’ve got your own problems, but Vella is a QUEEN! A little bit scary, a little bit rock and roll, if we’re picking dodgeball teams— I pick Vella! (I’m holding out hope that she gets her own story!🤞)
This one is SO SWOONY! There is no explicit content on-page, but there are innuendos in like a tasteful way.

This book like all of her books are so good, and I was so invested in this entire story and the plot twist at the end was wow. Anyways Im very excited for everyone to get to read this book. Thanks for letting me read this book

✨ARC Review ✨
This was such a cute happy romance read. If you like fairy tale style romances you’ll be obsessed with this.
Grateful to the author for allowing me to read this. If you’re looking for something happy and light pick this up when it’s released on July 30th :)

I would like to say a big thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of this book, I am really grateful for being able to read this wonderful book and write a review before its is released.
This has become one of my favourite books of all time and I recommned for everyone to preorder it right now, you will not regret! This is a perfect read for the summer, it doesn't matter if you will be going on holiday or staying at home! This is an especailly fast read, so you will have pletny of time to fall in love with all the other of Sariah's books.
Sariah is one of my favourite authors and the reason for that is:
-She writes amazing characters who are real and loving, in this book they are Everly and Max.
-Her stories are unqiue and always have a fun obsession for odd things, in this book we get the Monterra (Italian inspired country) royal family!
-The romance in the books is something I crave quite often - although be warned the romance doesn't go past kissing, so if you are wanting a spicy read I'd recommend checking out my other book reviews.
I loved Chemistry of Love and the Seatfiller, this book Party Favours is definetely number 2 on my most liked Sariah Wilson book. I am now reading Hypnotised by Love and cannot wait to share my next review with you all.

Quirky, with a side of sunshine, Sariah Wilson does it again with Party Favors. Every little girl wants to be a princess when she grows up, and as someone obsessed with the Monterran royal family, Everly April’s is no different. When hottie Max Colby shows up with a familiar accent it nearly sweeps Everly off her feet before realizing the feeling might not be reciprocated. Will Everly’s work crush ever notice her, will her new friend ever kiss her, or will she remain a virgin forever?
If you like best friends who tell it like it is, sexual tension, and quick banter pick this book up. And who knows, maybe the secret reveal you know is coming will shock you as much as it did me.

Great chemistry between the main characters. Max is my new book boyfriend! Everything Sariah writes is always so good.

This is more like 3.5 stars for me. I really enjoy the author’s style and the stories I’ve read of hers. But this felt too Hallmark-y for me.
The slow burn felt too slow and the third act break up felt too forced. I felt like I was reading 27 Dresses without the wedding theme. Which isn’t bad but it fell flat.
I really liked the bff Vella. She was my favorite character. I really liked how she rubbed off on Everly. I also liked Everly’s character arc. Her growth and confidence.
I didn’t understand the whole plot of Adrian and the random break up with his girlfriend. The whole I needed to date my crush to figure out who I love is not my favorite trope.
Overall, I look more from this author. Especially when I’m in the mood for a sweet romance.

Sariah Wilson does it again! This was Everly’s story. It is told from Everly’s POV. While I did think Everly was great, I have to say Max was my favorite. He was the sweetest guy! Everly meets Max at a bar and from there a friendship blossoms. They both clearly have feelings for each other but definitely hold back. Everly doesn’t trust her feelings towards Max and seems to think she isn’t good enough. We deal with that throughout most of the book. You can tell some things in her past made her feel that way. Everly works hard in her career and even there she doesn’t get the credit she deserves. As the relationship between Max and Everly keeps growing, we learn Max is hiding something. Everything seems to blow up for Everly. Will she finally get a happy ending? This was a sweet read. Bonus if you love a royal theme because they are mentioned as well. Don’t miss out on this one!

Everly is obsessed with Monterran royals, especially with Queen Katerina “Kat.” She looks up to Kat and thinks, “What would Kat do?”.
Everly and Max hit it off instantly and had great chemistry between them, which resulted in a strong friendship. The royal theme of the book was enjoyable. I appreciated Everly’s character growth throughout the story. Although the romantic development between Everly and Max was slow, it was still satisfying. However, the standout character for me was Vella, Everly’s best friend and roommate. Vella is the best thing that happens in the book; she is funny and straightforward.
Everly struggles with insecurities and often speaks negatively to herself, leading to an overwhelming inner monologue. It’s frustrating that she allowed Adrian to treat her poorly, but she wouldn’t believe that Max has genuine feelings for her. The plot felt dragged out due to excessive descriptions. Additionally, the epilogue didn’t feel convincing enough.
I would have enjoyed this book if Everly wasn’t so insufferable.

This was such a super sweet story. The main couple is adorable but the highlight is the best friend/roommate. Definitely pick up when you want a pick-me-up.
I received an ARC from Netgalley and the publisher.

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The story didn't seem to start at the right point, which made it feel slow and uneventful. Additionally, the main character, Everly, is extremely insecure and lacks any real depth, making it difficult to understand why Max would fall for her. Furthermore, the characters in the book felt very unrealistic and hard to relate to, which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the story.
Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for the eARC

I WILL READ ANYTHING SARIAH WILSON WRITES.
I loved this book, it kind of reminded of an another book I read and I also absolutely loved that book. If you like to read a light fluffy, books similar to Lynn painter and Sarah Adams. Then you have to read this book.

Party Favors was a quick light read following a party planner with a certain adoration for the royals.
This had its charming moments and was a sweet happily ever after. Read to swoon!
Thank you NetGalley!

I was initially drawn to read this book due to the cute cover and synopsis, but unfortunately I’m DNFing at 32% in. The storyline just seems too unfocused. Between the crush on the boss who overworks her, the new love interest, and planning a big event to prove that the main character is worthy of promotion, I feel like it’s taking too long for things to move in any direction. I’m having trouble connecting and caring to continue to read on. I may revisit it at a future date but for now I’ve lost interest.

Party Favors was definitely not my favorite book by Sariah Wilson - but it was still a cute read. I thought that the story of Max and Everly was romantic and I'm a sucker for a HEA, but I didn't like the choices that either of them made throughout the book. I felt like yelling at the all the stupid stuff they did. While I enjoyed the story, the ending wasn't that great and seemed unrealistic. 3.5 stars for me.

I tried my best to enjoy this book, but unfortunately, it failed to capture my interest. The plot was not compelling enough to make me want to continue reading beyond the first 25% of the book, and I struggled to connect with the characters, except for Vella Everly's roommate who was the only highlight of my reading experience. Additionally, I found Adrian, Everly's boss, to be childish. The whole Monterran prince theme was weird. I only just met Nic so can't give my full impression of his character. While there were no issues with the author's writing style, the story and characters just weren't to my liking. Of course, not every book can be loved by every reader.
I will not be leaving any reviews on this book on any other platform.

This is a very sweet story and I liked the arc of the main character. Her development was something that I was praying would happen since I was annoyed at how she let other people treat her, however the end result was very satisfactory.
I Love that Max is a gentleman and that he has a dog, extra points for that.
Both of them are really funny and it’s great that they have a good sense of humor. The chemistry between them was instant but thankfully, it didn’t feel insta love. I honestly thought that the most I was going to get was a chaste kiss, and while nothing was too graphic, they do have passion and it was fire.
The self awareness of their psychological issues is not something that I see very often in books and I appreciate it. Considering that this was on the table already, their changes made more sense in the story.
My favorite character: probably Vella, she is the funniest one. Also, their friendship is highly moving as both show the depths of it. Love to see female friendships.
The only down part I found was him messing with her fears. I understand that she managed to get through it but it would be a deal breaker for me. No questions asked.
The revelation of the mystery was not what I thought it was going to be, and I’m not going to lie, I was a bit let down by it. But overall, I liked the story.

Everly is a doormat in love with her boss. But when a chance meeting with gorgeous Monterran Nick at a bar, her life is suddenly all change. I must say, although April as a character does improve as this book progresses, I overall couldn't stand her. Half the time I just wanted to shake her! A rare miss from Sariah Wilson.
I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

Sariah Wilson books will always make you smile and feel good and party favors was no exception.
I really love how with her books there's this cozy element where the romance gives you warm and fuzzy feels. you will always feel happy after reading a book by her. This book and romance was just so sweet. It has the friends to lovers element with delightful characters and side characters that are funny and hilarious to the plot. I also liked the royal element to the story, I thought it added a little more to the story. Everly and ,Max were easy characters to root for and he's just such a swoony character. I loved how in detail you see how well they work together and their chemistry. The book is perfect for fans that love a good clean romance that is sweet and adorable and will make you feel happy inside afterwards. I highly recommend this sweet romance!

I liked the idea for this sorry but the plot fell flat. Because it was such an are we friends or aren’t we it made the book seem longer than it needed to be. The story was relatable and cute but just slow on the uptake
