This is book 3 in the Knot Series, Austin "Spatch" Madden and his retired K-9 Piper are fixing up a duplex he owns when he meets his sexy new neighbor. He tries his hardest to stay away but we know that never happens. Marisol Borrero is a scientist, she becomes friends with Piper and then eventually Austin. Action, Adventure, off the charts heat and romance. Loved these two characters and Piper stole my heart love stories with animals.

This is book 3 in the Knot PMC's and it can absolutely be read as a standalone and understand what is going on. I did like it enough that I have added the previous books to my TBR list though. He’s sworn off women, she can’t risk falling in love. The only girl Austin “Spatch” Madden has time for is his service dog named Piper after his wife gave birth to a child belonging to someone else. A training accident makes him walk away from his career in the Rangers, leaving him a wandering nomad until meeting an up-and-coming CEO named Dillan Knot. Marisol Borrero is the princess in her story. Unfortunately, hers is a kingdom of evil. Her father occupies a high-ranking position in the Puerto Rican Mob. When her brother dies of a mysterious illness and her mother is murdered, Marisol escapes the mafia life in search of a meaningful life. A dangerous age-gap romance. Austin’s new tenant captures Piper’s heart and makes his beat again, but a rival family decides they want to use Marisol’s pharmacological skills to enhance their drug business. And they won’t take no for an answer. Marisol leaves, returning to her father’s protection to avoid Austin becoming collateral damage. Austin has found the one woman he can’t live without and refuses to accept that she’s gone. Back in Puerto Rico, Marisol ends up in an even worse situation, and the man she walked away from is the only one that can save her from this life once and for all.

Ok so let me say that while there is an age gap-I didn't feel like it was a huge plot point after it was mentioned. So if you don't like age gap, this one shouldn't bother you at all. Marisol and Austin are not only perfect for each other but they perfectly understand each other and the things they are dealing with. The chemistry is off the charts, but there is also just this connection between them. They just fit together and complimented each other, and I wasn't really expecting that. The suspense kept me reading and wanting to know more, but beyond that I wanted to know how Austin was going to handle everything that was happening. And just so you know, you will love his dog Piper! She can be an absolute sweetheart until she is needed to protect the ones she loves, and then it's on! And I loved her too! I wish I hadn't missed the previous books, but I will be reading them now!

This is book three in The Knot PMC’s series and it is Austin and Marisol’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Austin works for for Knot Corp and enjoys his job and spending time with his dog Piper who is a trained military dog and Austin also didn’t do relationships after his wife cheated on him and Austin also liked upgrading his rental properties. Marisol is the daughter of a powerful mafia family in Puerto Rico but with the death of her mother and brother Marisol changed direction in her career and had now become a doctor after years of studying in California which was far away from the life that her father lived because he didn’t want her to be part of the mafia life so now she was due to start her new job and life in Norfolk. When Austin and Marisol meet the attraction and chemistry was instant and off the charts hot but with her being a lot younger than Austin and his past there is a definite chill in the air but when they are unable to deny how they feel about each other and come together they are totally explosive. Just when things start to develop and feelings become stronger danger arrives putting a target on their backs but Austin will not give up without a fight and he will protect Marisol regardless of her past or the outcome but when everything changes because Marisol realised that Austin was also in grave danger she returned to her father but what she didn’t know is that the decision she made would not only put her and her father in more danger but the consequences would be worse than she could have ever imagined. Austin is determined to rescue Marisol but first the threat to them will have to be eliminated and he hopes that he gets there in time because she is his everything and future. Wow I absolutely loved this book and how Piper could go from a killer one minute to a loving, kind, protective, sweet dog the next minute and the love between Austin and Marisol is so strong and special that they would do anything for each other and they are so perfect together and for each other and I am so glad that they got the outcome and happiness that they both deserved after everything that they had been through. I couldn’t put this book down as it was a page turner and so addictive along with it being a action packed read. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by this author and I can’t wait to read more in the future.

Marisol has some secrets regarding her family, and when they put her in danger she runs.
This book had me hooked from the beginning. A definite page turner.

So many layers! Intensity, intrigue, suspense with a plot that kept hanging on, holding my breath and enough steam and spice to make you S&S lovers happy. Jo Chambliss delivers little nuggets and surprises while at the same time throwing you in the midst of a team of men and women from Knot Corp that is surrounded and fighting for their lives. Its a page turning suspense, no it's a steamy erotica, no its a love story. Knot yours delivers it all with icing on the cake being Piper, the PTSD dog and so much more. This quote from the HEA had me gasping, hitching my breath and swooning. “ What I feel for you is possessive, vicious, and consuming. I will love you until my last breath, and when we’re both but a memory, I will find you amongst the stars and love you for another thousand lifetimes." There were a few slow getting to know you moments and the S&S that at times seemed never ending, but the intricate plot alot makes it worth the 5 star. Thank you for the arc. First off may I mention I love Jo Chambliss books and this one earned a OMG rating because it was good. It has everything action, adventure, high risk rescue of one of Knot's team and did I mention a mob princess who doesn't want the title and just wants to create medicines with nature ingredients?
All of the above including a fantastic and caring dog named Piper who helps her owner when his PTSD happens.

Austin finally meets someone who makes him dream and wish for things he thought he would never have. Marisol is a vision and when she rents her new place and runs into Austin she knows her life is about to change. Marisol is determined to not be in a relationship but Austin is just as stubborn as she is. All it takes is one kiss and they are both determined to never stop. Lots of things start to happen because of who Marisol’s family is. Will Austin be able to deal with it all and still have Marisol as his? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a spicy great read full of twists and turns! I loved both characters and the rich storyline they go through to be together. I will be sharing a full review and thoughts very soon! I hope to read much more by Jo Chambliss soon.

I loved this book and especially how it really walked through the history of the MC’s and gave so much context to how they had gotten to become who they were at the beginning of the book.

I loved the character interaction and with each book I ♥️ Knot just that little bit more (desperate for a throwback Knot/Trish book/novella pretty pleaaassseee 🙏)

The runaway favourite here had to be Piper, who was the most adorable of characters and had such amazing personality, the way she and especially her relationship with Austin was written was amazing

A fabulous love story, the feelings developing over the course of the book were fabulously written. Also a huge dose of danger and intrigue with lots of heart in throat moments in case we lost another lovable PMC.

I can’t even guess who the author will choose as her next character but I am most sure whichever it is, the story will be amazing.
