This is a charming, easy-read story about memories, friendships and plants that bring memories of loved ones and past events. It is a touching story of a nurse who, finding herself retired and with time on her hands decides to use her garden to plant memories. This leads to a new and supportive group of friends being made, who each add their memories to the garden. It offers new opportunities, romances and a sense of peace to everyone who becomes involved in the garden.

It is a well-written book with some lovely characters that develop throughout the story. The characters were mostly older, which was refreshing, but with a good mix of age ranges. I loved the idea of the garden bringing people together and helping to heal people.

If you want a nice heartwarming story, this one is a good choice.

I loved this! What a sweet story featuring “older” characters. Rose is finding purpose again after retiring and finds a whole group of new friends who help her create a wonderful garden in her backyard. Each person’s story unfolds along with the flowers that mean the most to them. Just a sweet story that I can’t wait to promote!

Ok this book was so sweet and charming on every level. It is cute as heck how the characters names are after flowers: Daisy, Flora, Rose. This is an easy read, but not an empty read. It is a great example in the power of community and using what we already have to make the most impact around us.

A delightful story - heartwarming and with feel good vibes!

Rose - a newly retired nurse - with time on her hands finds herself becoming immersed in her garden. It was previously her husband’s pride and joy and is a way of her honouring his memory. But it becomes more as she finds herself befriending others in need of solace and care. It becomes a place to remember, move on and create new memories.

I loved the characters of Rose, Daisy and Flora and the interaction between them.

The beauty of gardens and their positive impact on mental health are celebrated in this delightful book.

One to be recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a wonderful setting in Cornwall. The thing I loved most was the variety of ages of the characters which was heart warming. The garden of memories sounded like a wonderful place to meet and make friends. As an avid gardener and allotment holder I know only too well the importance of nature in your life and especially gardening and growing things whether it be flowers or vegetables. There were some great ideas for making memories which was a great help to a lot of the characters. There were great sentiments and word of pure wisdom. This was a wonderful read and difficult to put down.
