This was an enjoyable book, with lots of interesting facts about the state of Texas.
I would recommend this book for younger readers.

This is a super cute story about Chip the Beaver who goes with his family to see different cities and landmarks in Texas. The illustrations are very well done. I recommend this book.
This is the story of how Chip the Beaver and his family visit the Lone Star State, and the opportunities that they have for sightseeing there.
Some aspects of the story were interesting, particularly Chip's visit to the NASA Centre - where he had some exciting experiences with weightlessness, for example - and the description of Big Bend National Park.
But, to be honest, I did not find the story or the illustrations particularly compelling or outstanding in any way. The facts about Texas provided at the end were interesting, though.
