I love Catherine Bybee's books and this one was so good! Chase and Piper's story hooked me immediately. I finished this book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it!

This wasn’t a romance that I found enjoyable to read unfortunately. Piper and Chase both behave in ways that make them pretty unlikable - especially Piper’s general derision of Chase and his wealth. There is and attempt to make Chase seem sort of alpha, but it came across to me as pushy and uncaring of Piper’s opinions. Overall I just couldn’t get invested in either characters arc or their romance so this fell flat for me. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

All Our Tomorrows by Catherine Bybee
The Heirs Band 1

What a wonderful story! I stayed up till almost three, looked at the clock, and gave in though I wanted to keep reading till the very end. This book…<sigh>…LOVED IT!

What I liked:
* Chase Stone: business owner, intelligent, loves his mother and sister, protective, caring, sees the bigger picture, values what is real and true, and is happy with his life, rather taken with Piper
* Alex Stone: works in high power hotel job, loves her brother and mother, bright, good friend, dedicated, protective, caring, works well with her brother, want to know more about her
* Piper Maddox: was the assistant to the Stone empire owner, recently fired, good friend, bright, dedicated, organized, capable, excellent at her job, dog owner, has a secret
* The instant attraction but slow growing relationship between Chase and Piper – loved these two together!
* The Morrison family and their impact on the Stone family
* The mystery of who the third sibling is, how he will be found, and what his presence will add to the series
* Nick: BFF to Alex, nice guy, not much said about him but imagine he will show up again
* Hoping that the ex-wife Melissa and the people at the company trying to take over will be thwarted and eagerly waiting to find out how it will be done
* The plot, pacing, setting, and writing
* Feeling I was part of the story, liked the characters and cared about the outcome
* Knowing that there is another book to look forward to

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about the children damaged by abandonment and the repercussions this can have
* Having to wait for the next book

Did I like this book? YES
Would I read more in this series? Definitely!

Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for the ARC – This is my honest review.

After finishing the D’Angelos series, I was excited to see what was next and couldn’t wait to read All Our Tomorrows. This story was worth the anticipation. This story has intrigue, family drama, rich characters, and slow burn romance. With so many engaging elements, this story had me hooked from page one. The intriguing story about the missing heir to the family fortune and all the secrets the Stone patriarch kept me riveted. I had to grab the story in audio so I didn’t have to put it down! Meg Sylvan was fantastic solo narrating the myriad of characters. This billionaire, office, forbidden romance is a must have on your TBR. There are a few other tropes that also come into play too, but no spoilers here!

When Aaron Stone dies, his two estranged children are surprised to learn he named them his heirs, and shocked to learn they have a brother they never knew existed. Trying to find their long lost brother and run the Stone Enterprises, Chase and his sister Alex know they need help. Piper was his father’s assistant extraordinaire who was abruptly fired. Chase asks her to come back and she does so reluctantly so long as his son is better behaved than his father. As they spend time uncovering more of his father’s secrets, things between them slowly grow and things both at work and between them get really complicated.

Both Chase and Piper were characters you could easily like (and love) with rich backstories and fantastic banter. The scenes where they are alone had me smiling and also swooning, especially when they were fighting their growing attraction. I adored the strength of Piper’s character and tell-it-like-it-is personality. Despite what life hands to her, she does the best she can like we all do. Chase is a total golden retriever who I fell for right along with Piper. He’s impossible not to like! Their romance is a sweet slow burn that progresses right along with the hunt for the missing heir. I can’t wait to see what comes next for the Stone siblings and their eventual stories.

I absolutly love my go to chick lit author Catherine Bybee.. you know when she rights it you will end with the feel goods.
This is the story of a girl
who cried a river and drowned the whole world....
wait no thats not right .
This is the story of one of the best secretaries in the city who works for a billionaire who suddenly passes away and we get new surprise billionaires.
This is not your typically billionaire romance and i really appreciated that.
this is the slowest burn romance of all time (hence 4 stars truly) its over 400 pages and IMO could be shortened.
But it was sweet, it was different and it was unique.
I also really like the author afterwards she does here because she tells you why the book is meaningful to her and its not just a fever dream she had once.
Read this in audio.. and i loved the narrators.. and i also have this as a book.. both were great.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
I am a big Catherine Bybee fan, so it was an easy decision to read this latest book of hers – and the good news is that there will be more goodness to come in this series. Inevitably, there is some world building which happens here, but it is really organic and layers are revealed as we learn more about the family dynamics.

I enjoy work romances, but in this case the fact that Piper had been harassed by Chase's father in the office makes the chemistry between them even more complicated to address. We find ourselves completely understanding both their concerns and yet enjoying the draw!

The inevitable imbalance which can arise with a billionaire-employee setup is cleverly averted because Chase's background is nothing exceptional, and his shock at his father's actions on death are real. I greatly enjoyed the work that they had to do to bring the 'family' back together, as well as the navigating around boards etc.

Plenty of plot, plenty of passion, and plenty of future storylines laid down, this was a great read – roll on The Heirs 2!

I really enjoyed this book and the only bad thing is that I’ll have to wait til November for the next in the series!
However if you like a well rounded book featuring a reluctant billionaire and determined and spirited heroine, then this is the book for you. Chase inherits an insane amount of money and property along with his sitter whilst discovering they have an unknown sibling whom they need to find. Enter Piper, his father’s precious secretary who is reluctant to return to the company. Cue a fun and spicy romance. Highly recommend

ALL OUR TOMORROWS (The Heirs Book #1) by Catherine Bybee is the start of a contemporary billionaire romance series. I normally do not read this subgenre, but I love Ms. Bybee’s style of writing, and these reluctant billionaires receive their financial windfall when their estranged father dies, so I gave it a try and I am very glad I did.

Chase and Alex Stone are shocked at the reading of their estranged father’s will. Both are successful, but the inheritance of their father’s business and money are at a completely different level. They also discover they have a half-brother out there somewhere that they never knew anything about and to complete the conditions of the will and share a third of their father’s wealth, they must find him.

Chase Stone has to learn all about his father’s business in a hurry to keep the vultures at bay. He learns his assistant has only been in the position for two weeks and his father’s previous assistant was fired abruptly. Chase digs into the situation and finds out the injustice of the firing and wants the straight shooting and intelligent Piper back to assist him.

Piper Maddox has no desire to work for another member of the Stone family, but when she meets Chase, she learns he is nothing like his father. She needs the financial security of the position, but she has a few rules. As they work together with Chase’s sister to stabilize the company and find the missing Stone heir before the press, they discover a chemistry that both fight, but neither can resist.

I really enjoyed this introduction to the Stone siblings and Chase and Piper’s romance. All the characters are fully developed and realistic. Chase is an endearing hero of strength and integrity, and Piper is an intelligent heroine who can smoothly handle the politics of a multi-billion-dollar company but has a very big secret in her personal life. The two together are perfect. All the secondary characters round out a varied cast of good and bad players with secrets that will be answered over the future books in the series. The search for the missing heir and the treachery in their father’s corporation and boardroom have the plot moving at a fast pace, while the romance is intertwined and moves along at a believable pace. The corporate intrigue and the discovery of the missing heir are slight cliffhangers at the end of the story.

I highly recommend this first book in this new billionaire contemporary romance series.

Catherine Bybee is a must read for me! I'm obsessed with the D'Angelo series! This is a new series of hers and I'm already hooked. Catherine has a way of pulling you in from the beginning and holding you attention until the very end. I never want her books to end. I felt like the characters and the story were well written. There are likable and not likable characters in this book. This book will give you swoon-worthy moments, spice and heart. This was quick billionaire romance story that will leave you ready for the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book.

Thank you NetGalley and Montlake for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

I loved this book so much! I read this book in less than a day and have since been going back and rereading. I love this book (bears repeating) and start to a new series. I love the characters and the storylines involved. Chase and Alex inherit their estranged father’s fortune and learn they have a mystery half brother. Chase begs his dad’s former assistant, Piper, to come back and help them and they fall for each other, but Piper has a secret too.

This is a standalone with a HEA, but I REALLY need the rest of the books ASAP! Chase and Piper almost tie with Blake and Samantha as my fave couple in a Bybee book, but Wife by Wednesday was the first Bybee book I ever read - love that series too! Where are Blake and Samantha now? Can they show up in this series somehow? I digress…

Many thanks to the publisher via NetGalley for a review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

There’s nothing that burns a hole in my Kindle more than an ARC from a favorite author!

But my birthday was within days of the release date for All Our Tomorrows so I held on to it - showing some herculean-level strength in resisting for FIVE months! - knowing I’d have something great to read while celebrating another trip around the sun. And it DID NOT disappoint!

Chase Stone and his sister Alexandrea are all but estranged from their father, so they are completely shocked after his sudden death to learn they’ve inherited not only his estate, but his multibillion dollar hotel empire as well. Even more shocking is learning there’s a secret half brother who needs to be found - before word gets out and the Board of Stone Enterprises makes a move to push them out of the company.

When Chase walks into Stone Enterprises with every intention of running his newly-acquired company, he finds out the person who knew the most about running Stone Enterprises and his father’s life - Piper Maddox - was fired two weeks ago under suspicious circumstances. Knowing he won’t be able to get anything done without her help, he decides to hire Piper back. Which is a tough sell since dear ole dad was a huge asshole and Piper isn’t interested in working for the son who is almost certainly an asshole as well.

Only he isn’t.

I love stories where the relationship between the hero and heroine develops organically. And one of the things I like best about Ms. Bybee’s books is that she gives the perfect balance of realism (I can totally believe these people exist and are going through these situations) with escapism (who wouldn’t want to fall in love with a billionaire and get whisked away on his private jet for a date?!). There are no silly miscommunications, no people acting stupid. Just mature people behaving like adults. And I love them.

My big “complaint” about this book is that it left too much unanswered. There’s not a cliffhanger (and Chase and Piper get their happy ending), but there’s still a lot of The Heirs story left to tell. Which makes sense - this is a multi-book series, after all! I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Chase and Piper, and I’m SO ready to get the rest of the Stone siblings’s stories. The next book releases in about four months, and you can be certain if I’m fortunate enough to get an ARC of The Forgotten One I won’t be waiting so long to read it!

Catherine writes such beautiful stories of love, family, and found family. Chase and Piper are such fun characters and I enjoyed their witty interactions and the way they challenged each other. I could feel the chemistry between them, but the relationship felt like it progressed realistically and their HEA was hard won and sweet. This heartwarming romance raises some challenging questions regarding pregnancy, but handles them with sensitivity and care. The audiobook was an amazing way to enjoy this novel and the narration was spot on.

Chase is a billionaire city kid with an oversized pickup truck he struggles to get into the downtown parking garage - the most cringingly cliche overcompensation possible. And he's rude to people working in service positions. This man is the opposite of attractive.

The book overall seems like it is written by someone who hasn't been in an office in thirty years. Some examples: everyone has a "secretary" and, amazingly, they can type without looking at the keyboard, there is a "professional hacker" on staff, and we are reminded to print off agendas before meetings.

The plot that was promised in the blurb takes a complete backseat (never really resolved) to an accidental pregnancy storyline. Unnecessary bait and switch. Beyond that, it's filled with lots of tacky billionaire stuff and cringy sex scenes. Yikes.

Catherine Bybee’s books are always on my to-read list. Her novels always include people who have decisions to make and are often in conflict over those decisions. In this case we have poor girl/rich guy, family secrets, corporate shenanigans and genuine creepy shareholders and ex wife. Chase and Alex didn’t expect anything from their ultra rich dad and they certainly didn’t expect to find out they have a half brother somewhere. They are on a race to find the brother and somehow keep the company going without anyone figuring out there is a missing sibling. They need help.

Piper was fired from her job as Mr. Stone’s executive secretary based on made up charges. Just when she is beginning to get desperate for a new job, Chase Stone shows up and begs her to come back to work. He knows that they need someone who gets what is happening and how to help them learn quickly.

Sparks happen between Chase and Piper, as she teaches the siblings how the company works and where all the information is. She is reluctant to start a relationship with Chase. Meanwhile, the vultures start circling as Chase and Alex search for their missing sibling and begin their new journey as heirs to their father’s riches.

Tremendous characters. Loved the scene when Chase realized there was a plane that they owned. Loved Piper’s dog. Great story line and a fun read! I can’t wait for the next book in the series! All Our Tomorrows by Catherine Bybee is a really good read.

All Our Tomorrows, a billionaire romance by Catherine Bybee was right up my alley! I am a sucker for a good billionaire romance, and this did not disappoint! I loved Chase, the main male character. He is sweet, kind, and charismatic, exactly what Piper needs. They fall hard for each other, and I am so excited to know that this is the beginning of a new series! I really enjoyed the character development and chemistry they had together. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review

The first book in a brand-new billionaire series called The Heirs is titled All Our Tomorrows. This book was quite enjoyable to me. It was a nice, fast read. I wasn't quite prepared for this book. Furthermore, although there is undoubtedly some spice, the romance did not take center stage in the first part of the book. But I still thought the first half was quite interesting. There's a little mystery, which I really enjoyed. I am eager to see who the next character in the series is.

All Our Tomorrows is the first in a new series by Catherine Bybee. Chase and Alex Stone inherit their father's fortune after he passes, their relationship was non existent so they have to navigate through taking over his business. Piper, Mr. Stones assistant was fired just before he passed. Being that Chase and Alex have not been apart of the family multimillion dollar business they are in need of help and reach out to Piper. She return only under the condition she will not be treated the way she was by Mr. Stone. Piper and Chase spend a lot of time together sorting through everything and their attraction to one another is undeniable, yet they both know how it would look if they got together.

Loved this book so much, it was nice seeing past characters from Not Quite Dating again. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.

Thank you so much NetGalley for this ARC.

There is something about Catherine's writing style that makes it feel like coming home. I always find such comfort and enjoyment in her books, so going into this one, I knew I was going to come away enjoying it, but this one blew my expectations out of the water. Chase and Piper were truly fantastic characters with so much depth. Their story gripped me from the very start, and I was rooting for them the whole way through.

I don't want to spoil anything about this book, so I'm going to stay very vague in this review, but if you take anything from this review, please let it be how much I enjoyed it. Some of the conversations in this book were so real, and I absolutely loved them. I loved how Chase and Piper's relationship developed and how the two of them supported each other.

There was a hint of mystery in trying to find the missing Stone sibling, which was perfectly executed. Again, not wanting to spoil anything, this book perfectly sets up the next one in the series, making it hard to wait the fiveish months for the next book.

If you've never read Catherine Bybee before, I think this would be a perfect place to start. And if you have any interest in some of the side characters, this is a slight spin-off to one of her earlier books. So, if you need something to hold you over, you could read that book and the rest of that series (which I have read and loved as well).

First time reading something by this author and it was ok. I kept reading, hoping there'd be more for me to get hooked on the other Heirs because it was very clear this was going to be an ongoing saga. While I liked the main characters in this story, there just wasn't enough high-stakes tension-drama-mystery-complication to keep me glued.
