I was so so excited to read this, and it did not dissappoint at all! I loved this story, just like I've loved every Devney Perry book in the past. Her writing is so engaging and very easy to follow. I finished it in a day, and I only wanted to keep reading about West and Indya. It's truly the perfect small-town romance; the setting, the characters, and the flashbacks we got of them were beyond beautiful. I'll always be a huge fan of second-chance romances.
I'd definitely recommend picking this up if you're looking for a quick read!

Infinity stars. This book has now become my favorite Devney Perry book, and considering how much I love Devney's writings, this says a lot.

Indya and West have been coming in and out of each others lives since childhood. West's family has owned a ranch and resort for decades, and Indya's family began visiting for a week in summers when she was young. As their friendship grew as they got older, life had a way of getting in the way. Told in a dual timeline perspective, we get to see glimpses of the pivotal moments in Indya and West's stories. The moments they came together, and the moments that sent them down different paths.

But now, Indya has come to the resort as the owner, effectively taking over from West's family. At first, they find themselves on opposite sides of the table until the feelings they had resurface. Then they find themselves asking if this time their crossroads can become a merging.

This book made me cry. I cried for Indya (iykyk), I cried for West and his family, and I cried for their journeys. I absolutely loved this book and will be immediately rereading it when I get the audio. I do not want to give too much away, but I related to Indya so much. Her story has so many moments, and her actions spoke to me deeply. In fact, one of the things she does, I have done myself in my own life. She was so strong and was navigating life as best as she could, same as West. I loved the two of them together, and I was rooting for them, even through all the flashbacks. Seeing them finally together made my heart so happy.

I think this is my favorite Devney book, and I have read most of her books. Indya and West were perfect. The story and the writing were flawless. One of my best reads of the year so far.

I cannot stop thinking about this book. I made my husband listen to the entire plot because I needed to gush about how good it was.

I absolutely loved West and Indya's story. I love how there was duality from her many visits to Montana along with the present day. I loved how they both had similar work ethics. I loved how they communicated with each other.

But what I loved the most was West. He was absolutely amazing. The best kind of man. The kind that is really there. The kind that does what is right no matter what.

This story has deep layers. I cried a few times from a trigger (so check those if you need to!) but it was so well written. I was so absorbed in this book I would have finished in one day if work hadn't gotten in the way. I highly recommend it on audio and you can listen free if you have kindle unlimited.

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Devney Perry very quickly became a must-read, auto-buy author for me and “Crossroads” is the perfect example of why that is.

This is a beautiful second chance romance and I could not be more thrilled to have experienced it firsthand. I finished it in a few hours and am slightly sad about that because I never wanted it to end.

I cannot contain my joy that I was able to read this wonderful story as an arc and will eagerly be awaiting the next book in this series.

Thank you NetGalley, Devney Perry, and Montlake for gifting me a copy.

This was a really sweet and touching second chance romance.

West had resigned himself to never see Indy, his summertime girl from when they were kids, again. He really wasn't prepared for her to announce that she has taken over ownership of his families ranch. No matter how many years has past, the heart wants what it wants.

This is set in dual timeline and shows the build of West and Indy's relationship over their many summers together and everything that came to pass to get them where they were today. It was such a sweet story and it just came together so naturally. I really loved them together, and just how deeply they loved each other and how much they couldn't resist each other. This one was a bit heavier than some of Devney's other books, in dealing with a topic that can be distressing, but was so relatable and just so touching in how she handled it.

Overall this was a really great start to the series and I can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes next!

Thank you Denver, NetGalley and Montlake for the advance copy to read and review!

Great story, great writing, quick read, emotional. And the audiobook was wonderful.

This story is set on a ranch in a small town in Montana. We get dual timelines that span 20 years of a summer friendship between West and Indy. That friendship grows into something more. The story picks up 4 years after the last time Indy was in Montana for a summer vacation and this time she just bought the ranch that West’s family owns.

The dynamic was unique and I love how they came together again. No third act breakup and not alot of drama. An enjoyable reading experience.

Crossroads is a wonderful start to the New Haven River Ranch series.

West Haven’s family has owned and run the ranch and vacation cabin resort for generations. He is understandably shocked and angry when Indya Keller shows up and announces that she is the new owner.

All Indya’s best memories are from her family vacations spent at the ranch. It’s where she fell in love with West who broke her heart.

The story follows two timelines as Indy remembers all that led her to the present. She is trying to bring the resort back to its former glory and navigate a new relationship with West.

“Kissing Indya was as natural as breathing. It should be. I’d been kissing her since I was a kid.”

- Small-town Montana ranch
- Cowboy romance
- Second chance
- Childhood friends to kinda enemies to lovers
- Workplace romance
- Past & present timelines
- No breakup
- Dual POV
- Narrated by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor

Premise: Indya spent her summers visiting West’s family’s ranch. But years (and a couple of broken hearts) later, she returns to bring it back from the brink, and he’s not too happy about it.

Crossroads has a lot to like:
- Past and present timelines, so we see them grow up and fall in love over several summers. "That was how it had always been between us. We belonged to each other. Even when we didn’t."
- A determined FMC working herself to the bone out of love for her dad and West. I loved seeing her transform his dream into reality.
- A cowboy MMC who always thought about her (a.k.a updating her cabin in case she ever came back). West was determined not to let her go once he had her again.
- A little bit of hate before it turned to love. It took West a hot second to realise Indy only wanted to help. When he finally let go of his anger, things heated UP!
- A couple finally getting to know each other past those childhood summertime feelings. "I knew her heart. I knew her laugh. I knew her shrugs and the way she looked every time she was fighting tears. But that wasn’t enough. Not anymore."

I would’ve liked just a little more tension and a slow burn, but that’s really my only complaint!

If you're a Devney fan already, I think you're going to love this new addition. But listen to the audio (free via KU) and thank me later.

This book had me smiling and swooning, and the main characters, Indya and West, had the perfect amount of pining with amazing chemistry. I felt like I was right in Montana with them.

With dual timeline and dual POV, this was a right person wrong time kind of story that progressed into a second chance romance. I loved reading about their childhood and how they initially became friends when Indya was eight and West was ten. And how they got closer each year was so sweet🥹

Indya is strong and determined. West is protective, stubborn and grumpy. I loved how he didn’t let anyone bad-mouth Indya. Both characters were so likeable and perfect for each other!

This was my first book by Devney and I would highly recommend it if you like second chance, enemies to lovers, small town romance books with cowboy MMC. Also, I’m so excited for Jax’s book🫶

Thank you so much Devney Perry, Montlake and Netgalley for this ARC copy!

I had a fun time. Lots of times where I was just like “get to the point already” or “why is this dragging on?”. I didn’t feel a connection to the characters and I felt like something was missing.

I loved Crossroads! It was a wonderful small town romance with the right amount of angst and longing. Indya and West were meant to be and I really enjoyed the story of them finally getting their HEA.

I felt so much while reading this book. Poor Indya spent so long holding her breath and staying strong on finally breathing when she had her summers with West. And don’t get me started on the hurt and betrayal I felt right along side West after what his father did.

I really enjoyed the time jumps with this book. I thought I knew where things were going and was just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I’m really excited for the next book in this series. I can’t wait to learn more about Jax and it sounds like there will definitely be some fireworks between him and Sasha.

What an amazing start to a new series! I loved it so so so much!! I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down! It was pretty much a one sit read for me! The author did a great job setting up the series without taking away from the story that was being told! If you love small town, workplace, second chance, enemies to lovers, cowboy, childhood friends, forced proximity romances this one needs to be on your tbr for sure! This is one of those books that could have kept going on for forever and I’d be happy about it! This one will definitely make you feel the feels too! Definitely wasn’t ready for this one to end! I can’t wait for the second book!

Received an arc for a honest review.

Absolutely loved this second chance romance.
I loved how the story took us on little glimpses to the early years of the two main characters and falling in love as teenagers. Then flashes to the present time and how they are living different e lives but find themselves back in the same place they met. The setting and descriptions of the Haven River Ranch made me want to place my bags and visit for the summer. Indya and West love story is one that I will be thinking about for a long time. This was such a heartwarming, first love, second chance and chasing your dreams story. Many thanks to Montlake and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this novel. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Such a sweet second chance romance for these characters, we get to see their love story blossom from when they were kids to adults and their various trials and tribulations keeping them apart. A very promising start to a new cowboy series from Perry.

I loved this 6 star story very much. An highly addictive read for the first book in this brand new series.

Indya shows up years later at West’s ranch. They share a past. And she bought the ranch. Sparks will fly.

This story was so addicting and captivating that I devoured it in a matter of hours. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. It held my undivided attention throughout this story. I loved these perfectly created characters. I can’t wait for more. Bottomline this is a must read.

Standalone for now told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

Another enchanting new Devney Montana world, and whole new cast of characters that have already captured my heart. Crossroads is all we’ve come to love about Denvey Perry- small town charm, heartwarming moments, hypnotic chemistry, and deftly crafted story telling. It’s sweet and soothing while also being passionate and consuming- what a wondrous and magical escape!

Crossroads takes us to the Haven River Ranch world, here with a second chance romance between childhood vacation-only sweethearts, now estranged but still full of feelings, misunderstandings, and so much longing. Rancher West Haven hasn’t forgotten Indya, the beautiful guest that stole his heart each summer, and now she’s back, the newly minted owner of his family business, and new boss. The professional situation and West’s family drama creates all kinds of tensions, but add in their romantic history, all of their unresolved feelings, and all of the angst between them? It’s just deliciously complicated and so full of push-pull. I devoured this!

Both characters are likable but a little lost in their own ways. Indya is both stoic and strong, but she’s also got an aching vulnerability and an open chasm in her heart that make her emotionally gentle and almost raw at times. West, on the other hand, has calcified his heartache with both his family and Indya into a rugged detachment. Self-possessed, opinionated, and fierce…but Indya jolts him in the best way possible, and brings out his caring possessiveness that I adored. Their chemistry is both explosive and gentle, complicated yet easy, and I loved seeing them finally get on the same page and unleash their heart. I'm normally not a fan of second chances where unexpressed feelings/misunderstandings result in separation, but here I think the nature of their romance (vacation lovers) really sets this up to be a more believable lack of communication- not to mention, their real lives have their own issues. And the grand gestures? I melt.

The setting is magical, the secondary characters charming, and the romance is delectable. But I also loved the individual journeys, the way Devney weaves romances with a story about generational healing, grief, and restoration. This book is told in both past and present timelines, and here it works beautifully because it helps us really understand the depth and history between these two. And the ALC was just gorgeously done! The emotional layers, the passion, the gusto of both Samantha and Connor’s performances just swallowed me whole. And I cannot wait for more from this world!

This was my first book by Devney Perry but definitely not the last. I loved everything about it and couldn’t put it down. The story is told in dual pov (past and present) and it’s sooo easy to follow. I’m really excited for the next book 🤭 This is what I call a perfect childhood friends - second chance - small town romance!! Watch me never shut up about this book
Thank you Netgalley, Montlake and Devney Perry for this incredible book 🫶🏻

When Devney Perry drops a new book you know I’m going to be reading it. But gosh even though it’s only just started this one might trump Clifton Forge as my favourite series of hers!

I was immediately drawn in by these characters and fell in love with the Haven River Ranch world. The back and forth timeline was done so well, I’m often not a fan but it helped paint the story of Indya and West perfectly!

I really loved Indya’s character and how she tried to protect what mattered most to those around her. She cares so deeply for West and I just loved seeing their relationship grow throughout the book. West was everything I wanted from a book boyfriend.

Can’t wait for more from Haven River Ranch.
