ooh this book has my heart! I loved it so much and really enjoyed the present day fairytale take crossing over "The Last Holiday" and "The Princess Diaries" vibe and had me rooting for Lilah as her life falls apart in the most unexpected ways after she saves the life of Good Witch Willow. As Lilah starts to uncover bad truths in practically every area of her life, fate starts to shine wildly in other areas. I loved the blossoming romance between Lilah and Alistair and felt i fitted the story perfectly. This was such a cosy, heartwarming read that I will enjoy going back and reading it again.

She develops great characters that are believable and whimsical. The plotline is fun and there is a happy ending. What more could you need? This is a book for a hot day in the shade, a rainy afternoon, or winter evening by the fire.

The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck was a fun, paranormal romance romp. Lilah was an interesting character but I felt like her and Alastair's relationship was rushed. They did have good chemistry though and I enjoyed the way the witch's fortunes played out. It was really good to see Kylie Scott try writing a different type of love story

I really loved the idea of this book. It was intriguing and it had me hooked from the onset.
A very easy read, no overall drama (other than the obvious) really loveable characters, especially the mum and an interesting plot. I really liked the pacing, and the sense of humour in the book, it was so much fun
Seeing all the prophecies come true and the final one yet to was great, I loved how Lilah and Allistair were together and the tension between them.
It was a little predictable and I guessed the twist but overall was super cute and really enjoyable x

I LOVED this book. It required me to suspend just the right amount of disbelief for it to be such a gripping, and hilarious, read. Lilah receives predictions from a “witch” that she assumes to be made up - including that her boyfriend is cheating on her, her soulmate is a prince and that she will die in 10 days. When the more mundane of the predictions come true, she’s forced to accept that she might not have long left to live! She does in fact meet the prince, Alastair, in a funny meet cute and he ends up along for the ride of her last days, helping her through a bucket list.
So good. Too cute. I loved that even though it’s predicted that Alastair is Lilah’s soulmate, it’s still a slow burn - a gradual realisation that they are falling in love. And my god, is his mum hilarious. I laughed out whenever she was involved. But Lilah’s narrative voice overall is just very funny. One of my fave reads of the year so far 🩷
What to expect:
- fantasy storyline
- opposites attract
- celebrity romance
- quite spicy

I had such a good time reading this book! It was ridiculous and far-fetched, and I couldn't get enough of it. I remember really enjoying reading End of Story by Scott last year, so I was excited to see her coming out with another Contemporary Romance, and this didn't disappoint at all. I've been enjoying the recent trend of slightly paranormal elements interwoven in a romance, and the whole fortune-telling part of this really gave it a fresh take on a love story. The chemistry between Lilah and Alistair was so good - how he just couldn't stay away from her despite all the complications that would come with it, including his scheming family, who I loved as supporting characters. The whole royal part of it was so over-the-top in the best way - it didn't make or break the story but it provided the book with genuinely funny scenes. Another solid romance from Scott!

Lilah Goodluck is thrust into a whirlwind of unexpected events when she saves a woman's life and receives five seemingly preposterous predictions in return. As three of the predictions come true, Lilah is forced to confront the possibility that the last one might also come to pass. When she meets Alistair Lennox, the illegitimate son of the British king, and feels an undeniable connection, Lilah must navigate the challenges of her newfound fame and the disapproval of royals to find love before her time runs out. With humour, heart, and a touch of magic, this novel is a delightful exploration of love, fate, and the power of believing in the impossible.

Right from the very beginning of this book i became engrossed in the wonderful story and found myself turning the pages faster and faster just so that i could get to the end and find out how the story all unfolds.
This was such a sweet and sexy story with a wonderful magical twist to it too.
All the characters were wonderful and i found myself falling in love with them all, i really enjoyed becoming immersed in their stories.
I loved this rom com and after i had read it i was left with a big smile on my face and warmth in my heart…….

This was so lovely!
When Lilah receives an unwanted prediction from a supposed "witch" at her best friend's party, she's hit with devastating...and not so devastating news. When each thing starts to come true, there's only one thing to do.
With one week to do everything she'd ever wanted, a handsome and buttoned-up not-quite prince with a delicious accent, and an uncertain future, Lilah throws caution to the wind.
The relationship development between the main characters was beautiful in its straightforward simplicity, giving it an endearing and humorous quality, No angst, no misunderstandings. Fabulous.
Well, well worth reading.

I have been a huge fan of Kylie Scott since the 'Stage Dive' days and just love the new direction her writing has taken recently. After reading, and adoring, End of Story, I had a feeling I was going to enjoy every minute of this one - and I wasn't disappointed. Alistair and Lilah's story was an absolute joy to read - I love Kylie's characters and her world building, and everything about this just left me feeling so happy.

I absolutely loved reading The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott. It’s a fun read – the banter and sass that comes with leading lady Lilah is delightful!
There is nothing I didn’t love about this narrative. The storyline and characters are fabulous. My only niggle is that the ending seemed rather rushed - I would have loved to have seen this paced a little slower. However, it does what it needs to do and closes the story tying all the loose ends together.
Where can I find my very own Alistair? I wouldn’t mind one of him being in my future!
I am certain this charming read will tick many romance readers boxes. I must admit that I struggled to put my Kindle down once I started reading this novel.
I award The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck 4 stars!

I am so completely in love with this book! Lilah saves the life of a fortune teller, and is rewarded with five predictions ... including the fact that she will die the following week. As the first four predictions prove correct, Lilah realises that the evidence is stacking against her, and her time may be almost up ...
This is a sweet and sexy romance with a slight fantasy twist, and I was completely and totally in love with every single character. This book was genuinely laugh out loud and left me with a warm fuzzy feeling. More like this, please!
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I ate up this book that was slice of rom-com escapism in the best way. Lilah was a body positive heroine faced with a bunch of predictions that were coming true. Fate threw an illegitate royal son in her path in the form of Alistair who I liked a lot (a bunch of a lot).
These two and their week of escapades kept the pages turning super fast. The families on both sides made for interesting, quirky reading. I enjoyed the less than favourable portrayal of English royalty (no surprises there for anyone who knows me).
Friendship to chemistry was bubbling in abundance but it was totally belieavable, you could feel the connection. There's an impending sense of doom in this book, the whole book is premised on this but it didn't overtake. That said, by the final quarter I was desperate to know what woud happen.
This book is the kind of book I would reread for sheer enjoyment and escapism. It was kind of silly like all the best rom-coms but you come out of it smiling and content.
Thank you Piatkus books for the review copy.

I absolutely loved Lilah and really enjoyed this book overall, it made me feels so many emotions, love, sadness and excitement.

Let me start by saying that I have never met a Kylie book that I didn't like and I loved this one.
Lilah and Ali were so well written, and the story so enthralling that I have devoured this book in a day.
Lilah is a typical working girl, she's not a super model, not a size zero and is not having a good night when a fortune teller informs her that her boyfriend is cheating, she will not get a promotion at work and will meet her soulmate and win the lotto. oh, and yes she will die. the first two come true in rapid succession and then she meets him, Ali. I will not spoil the book , but I sort of figured out the ending before it happened after Ali got the good witch to expand on her prediction.
Absolutely loved this book.
more, pretty please.
