This book was very informative without being boring for kids. I think that having a talking sun was super cute. The science is clear and accurate and brings a new light to something we take for granted, electricity and power.
This is a super short book and I enjoyed that the sun explains the process of how energy is converted, but also that the little boy questions what solar panels are when he sees them, i know that happened with our wind farms near where we live.
The illustrations were bold and colorful and very engaging.
A cute children's book that effortlessly combines entertainment with education. The story follows Jack on a seemingly ordinary car journey, but a field of solar panels sparks his curiosity. Through his newfound friend Sunny, a talking sunbeam, Jack embarks on a magical journey to understand the incredible power of the sun and how it can be harnessed through solar panels. The book brilliantly introduces young readers to the concept of renewable energy and the significance of clean energy alternatives. With its engaging narrative and vibrant illustrations, The Mighty Solar Panel not only entertains but also educates.
Buckle up, eco-warriors! The Mighty Solar Panel by Daniel Jarrett is not your average bedtime story—it's a wild ride into the world of clean, green energy, and it's about time our kids get on board! This book is like a superhero origin story, but instead of a cape, our protagonist, Jack, gets transformed into a ray of sunlight thanks to his sidekick Sunny, a talking sunbeam. Together, they dive into the world of solar panels and learn how the sun's energy can save the planet. It's like Captain Planet meets a sunny road trip, and trust me, your little ones will be cheering for solar power by the end. Grab a copy now and let the eco-adventure begin! 🌞✨

Thank you to the independent publisher for accepting my request to read and review The Mighty Solar Panel on NetGalley.
Wow. I found this to be written well. How the sun works in conjunction with solar panels is easily understood. The need for power and electronics is explained to a child.
The color palette is bright with the illustrations appealing to all ages.
I would gift this.
This is a cute story about a boy who learns about solar panels. The illustrations are adorable and well-drawn out. I recommend this book.
Most adults don't know as much about solar energy as you can learn in this simple picture book. Solar energy is safe, clean, and renewable, and the world could benefit greatly from changing what kinds of energy we use.
The pictures are adorable and the child in the story is bright and curious. This was a pleasure to read.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.
