While nothing in this book was exactly new to me having read several money books, the author chose an interesting angle to tackle the sibject from - namely why we self sabotage with money. This was accessible and packed with practical tips. Very much from the female perspective but if you only read one money book, read this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to GOOD WITH MONEY by Emma Edwards. First off, it was lovely to have the book narrated by the author; you could really hear her passion behind the project, and her upbeat and relatable voice made what could be quite a daunting subject easily digestible and intriguing. There were a lot of useful tips in the book to help revitalise your approach to money and consumerism, that even if you didn't follow her strategies, it's useful to be aware of – definitely going to be unticking those annoying adverts on social media. I might even have to listen to it again to really get the most out of the knowledge, but I look forward to it. A must-read for anyone who has looked at their bank account at the end of the month and is clueless as to what happened!

Interesting tips of how to be more mindful with money. Some based on her personal experiences. So not all examples felt relatable. I still enjoyed. And was able to take some notes.

Insightful and full of little ways to help with money! I’d recommend this to anyone in their 20s.

It can be hard to be good with money but in small ways it can be easily done!!

This was genuinely really helpful. I appreciate that it spends just as much time with the psychology of money behaviour, as with changing your relationship to money. It's a more sustainable approach to untangling that whole web. I'll be buying this book to keep to hand.

One of the best money management books I've read as it really speaks to the millenial/Gen Z generations and in particularly women and how our world is set up to keep us consuming, in most instance to validate our existence. Whilst giving really practical tips on how to budget better for the longer term rather than pushing fads like no spend year ideas. Brilliant read for women!

Narrated by the author on audio, I flew through the audiobook in about 24hr!

I already feel better than I was before, after reading this book. Not just from a financial mindset, but an awareness in general. As a bookworm, the only money problem I can relate to is funds to buy- books, bookshelves, library cards and an occasional splurge on sales book fairs, and coffee.

Silliness aside, the book is a guided path that's divided into 5 major parts and further broken into practical tasks that help you understand, evaluate and implement where you really want to spend money. Because the key is not to spend less, but to spend consciously on things we value in life. I feel this is something that every person who is earning needs to read, right at the very beginning.

My favourite quotes:
"Where our focus goes, money flows"
"Our exposure to everything we can have, spiralling out of control"
"You don't need to stop buying things you want, you need to stop buying things you don't want"

Thank you @netgalley @wfhowes and @the.brokegeneration for the Audiobook ARC. It's been a wake-up call.

Written by a millennial for millennials, an exploration of why we are the way we are with money, finances and saving. With an easy to follow step by step guide to making sustainable changes.

I loved this, so informative and empowering. My only note is that that I wish there were more anecdotes / parts that related specifically to a British audience (which I understand is difficult with an Australian author).

**Listened to the audiobook**

This was just great! Emma Edwards narrates the audiobook and her personality just shines through. There is so much personality in this book, it has so much joy.
It's informative and personal. Its clever and eye-opening.

The balance between informative content, and personal stories about Edwards was perfect.

Really recommend - and in particular the audiobook so you can hear Emma Edwards read it how it should be told!
