A cute, heartwarming and compelling story that made me smile and root for the fleshed out characters. Escapism at high level.

I am a big fan of the characters in this series. I enjoyed the Christmas book; this one is similar and very good. It took a bit to get rolling and I was not too sure about Tasha at first, but through Rhys, I grew to like her. It was great to see Ziggy and Zap again as well as the rest of the Juniper Meadows crew. This author has such a great writing style, I can't wait to see what they write next.

Cute easy story that wraps up with a nice ending. The ending did feel like it happened in 2 pages and went very quickly. Other than. That it was a decent fun read

Thanks and to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

This is Rhys and Tasha’s story.

Tasha is tasked with an extended project which takes her to Juniper Meadows. The pace of life and work is much slower than Tasha is used to and is set in the beautiful countryside. Tasha is loving the job but isn’t now sure if she can continue to work for the Travers family after finding the future on Juniper Meadows is hanging in the balance if she does what she is sent to do. Especially when she finds herself falling for the future Lord of the manor Rhys.

When the Travers family find out what Tasha was sent to do can they forgive her and welcome her into the family?

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was part of a series, but can still be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

Juniper Meadows is home to much of Rhys’s extended family, not to mention the many local businesses that operate on the estate, so there’s no time to sit back and enjoy the view and it certainly does not leave any time for romance. Tasha Blake’s career leaves no time for romance either so when her job takes her to Juniper Meadows for an extended project, she is soon realising that the countryside has more than work to offer.
A warm cozy romance set in beautiful countryside, perfect for a relaxing read. The characters were enjoyable and relatable. At first I did not really like Tasha but as the story went on she grew on me. Overall a satisfying read.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW

Review for 'Come Rain Or Shine' by Sarah Bennett.

Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Sarah Bennett, Rachel's Random Resources, Book And Tonic, Boldwood Books and The Bold Book Club

Publication date 6th March 2024.

This is the first book I have read by this author but it most definitely won't be my last!! It is also the third book in Sarah's 'Juniper Meadows' series but each book in this series can be read as a standalone.

This novel consists of 30 chapters. The chapters are short to medium in length so easy to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!

An absolute stunner from the extremely talented Sarah!!! Well done Sarah on an absolutely gorgeous and perfect read!! This is the ideal beach read where you could sit there and turn around and just imagine the beautiful Juniper Meadows coming to life around you!

Be still my beating heart!! Sarah, where on Earth have you been all my life?? Why on Earth am I only now discovering your stunning books!! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE LOVED this absolutely gorgeous book and I am absolutely landed that it is part of a series that I can not only look forward to more books to read when they come out but can go back to the first book 'Where We Belong' while I am waiting for new ones to come out!!! Sarah's absolutely stunning evocative writing skills ensures the readers are absolutely sucked into the stunning storyline with the atmosphere, emotions, animals and characters coming to life all around them. Sarah ensures the reader hears the dogs barking and the birds tweeting, feel the electricity between Tasha and Rhys as well as the love surrounding the entire Travers family and see the beautiful surroundings. This fantastic storyline is filled with friendship, romance, humour, dogs, family, cows, tents, an amazing community, secrets, heartache, hard decisions and absolutely everything that you can ask for in a beautiful romantic escapism!!! Tasha has been roped in by her boss, owner and SJW to apply for a job at Juniper Meadows as he wants to know if it is a viable purchase for his company regardless of whether the current occupants wants to sell. Tasha easily gets the job and does extremely well at it making Juniper Meadows come alive with events and her amazing organisational skills. However, she starts to feel at home in the Travers family feeling loved, acknowledged and wanted. There is one particular member who feels more for her and she feels more for them. However, with her coming to Juniper Meadow with an agenda will the family find out the truth? Will Rhys and the family ever forgive her if they do? Will Tasha be able to do the job she came to do? Well I would love to tell you but where would be the fun in that? You'll just have to grab your copy of this stunner to find out won't you?!? You wont regret it!! I absolutely fell in love venturing into the stunning and love filled Juniper Meadows, meeting the amazing characters including all the amazing animals and getting completely lost in this stunning storyline! I am a huge animal lover and run my own cat rescue called Golden Oldies Cat Rescue and Hospice (you can find me on social media if interested) so any books that contain animals is always a huge bonus for me and this is absolutely rammed with amazing animals from dogs to sheep and much more!! I became so invested in this book that it actually felt like going on a holiday and I absolutely dreaded coming to the end again where I had to unpack my suitcase and get back to reality. It was an absolutely compelling and addictive heart lifting read that kept me turning the pages until late at night. I loved discovering the pasts and histories of the characters and I was absolutely swept away in the story line. The characters and locations came to life around me and I cannot wait to return in the next and previous book in this stunning series that I have very quickly fallen in love with. It has everything you could ask for to lose yourself for several hours. I just could not put it down so make sure you clear your schedules!!!! This book and this series would make a beautiful movie!! This book is an absolutely gorgeous, stunning and addictive addition in what promises to be an absolutely stunning series!!

Do not turn a single page of this book until you have cleared your schedules and when you do get ready to go on a stunning holiday you will not want to leave!!

Although this is the third book in this stunning series I had absolutely no problems reading it without reading the first book 'Coming Home To the Highlands'. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

I very quickly became completely invested in the characters, along with the storyline, who were all absolutely fantastic with their own individual personalities and quirks. They all started feeling like friends so quickly and I cannot wait to meet some of them along with new characters in the previous and future books in what promises to be a stunning series if this gorgeous book is anything to go by!!. I felt like I was leaving amazing people and friends and feel quite sad about that! Each of the characters have rich personalities and they will all stay with me for a long time. I absolutely love the fact that Sarah starts the book with a list of all the characters which includes some information on them. This is a fantastic idea and I haven't seen it much and wish more authors would do it. It is very helpful to be able to go back to remind yourself who certain characters are especially when you pick up a book in a series so thank you for this thoughtful addition Sarah!!! This is one of those stunning books where I loved the majority of the characters so much I genuinely could write an essay on them but it would be better for you to meet them for yourself. The main characters are Tasha and Rhys and Sarah does a fantastic job of weaving the chapters with their differing perspectives together seamlessly ensuring a smooth read and one that lets us know how each of them are feeling and thinking. As I previously mentioned there are many amazing four legged characters included in this gorgeous book and my favourites just had to be Samson and Delilah. The whole of the Travers family were just amazing and I loved them all. I can't say that I feel the same about Tash's Blake family as I wasn't a fan of many of them at all, only really Tash's sister Danni and her husband Stuart. Sarah's fantastic evocative writing skills ensure each and every one of them come to life in front of your eyes while you go through all their emotions with them. The fact that Sarah clearly cares about her characters absolutely shines through the pages with the fact that they are so well developed, realistic and every character has a part. I just absolutely adored getting to meet them and I'm looking forward to meeting them all over again in the first, second and future books in this fantastic series. An absolutely fantastic, unique and memorable group of amazing characters that i wont forget anytime soon!!

Congratulations Sarah on an absolutely gorgeous success!!! I'm definitely looking forward to my next holiday to Juniper Meadows in the rest of the books in what promises to be a stunning series!!! This is exactly why you are now in my favourite author club and here is to your next success 🥂 !!!

Make sure you read to the very end of the book to read the first chapter of Sarah's 'Summer Kisses At Mermaid's Point' which is the first book in her 'Mermaid's Point' series and promises to be just as gorgeous as this book and is is one I'm definitely looking forward to reading myself!!

Overall a perfect, stunning, page turning beach or fireplace escapism, with a great gang of characters that will sweep you away to Juniper Meadow from the very first page to the end by the extremely talented Sarah Bennett!!

281 pages.

Princess Fuzzypants here: When Tasha arrives at Juniper Meadows, she expects to do a recon job for her cut-throat boss and then return to glory at her company. But as soon as she arrives she sees the potential and before she knows it, she is making substantive changes that will turn the estate around. But this brings some serious complications. While she is not doing anything illegal, she has not been honest with the people she meets. She never expected to fall in love with the estate, the life or the future Baron.

She does, however, which means she is not prepared to give her boss the ammunition he needs for who knows what. He is not a good loser and he takes no prisoners when Tasha chose Juniper Meadows over any future career advancements. When her cover is blown however, she skulks off, convinced that the family will despise her. Little does she realize the impact she has made and when all is said and done, she has the dream job and the dream life she never knew she wanted.

Five purrs and two paws up.

I have been a fan of Sarah and her work for a while now. By no means have I read everything that she has written but I hope to have rectified that in the not too distant future. I read the synopsis of 'Come Rain Or Shine' and it certainly sounded like the sort of book I have come to expect from Sarah - a heartwarming story with plenty of life, love and friendships. Well it was certainly that and so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Come Rain Or Shine' but more about that in a bit.

'Come Rain Or Shine' is the third book in the 'Juniper Meadows' series and what an addition to the series it is too. As soon as I saw the cover of the book, I knew that I was going to be in for a treat and that reading the book would prove to be rather addictive. I was spot on with both predictions. When I picked the book up for the first time, I had only intended to read a chapter or two but I ended up becoming so wrapped up in the story and in the lives of the different characters that I was still sat there reading several chapters and an hour or so later. It was as if the book had developed a hold over me and it was a hold that I wasn't willing to break. My Kindle wasn't exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn't bear to miss a single second of the story and besides I had to keep reading to see if the story panned out in the way in which I thought it would. All too quickly I reached the end of 'Come Rain Or Shine' and I had to say goodbye to Tasha, Rhys and the rest of the characters. I found 'Come Rain Or Shine' to be a delight to read from start to finish with lots of love, laughs and heartwarming moments.

'Come Rain Or Shine' is superbly written but then I have come to expect nothing less from Sarah Bennett. Sarah has an easy going writing style that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. In fact reading one of Sarah's books seems more like a chat between friends rather than reading a book. I hope that makes sense. Sarah's love for her characters shines through in the very vivid and realistic way in which she describes them. She makes her characters seem just as real as you and I. In fact the characters ended up feeling more like friends than characters in a book. I hope that makes sense. I love the way in which Sarah makes the reader feel as though they are part of the story and at the heart of the action. That's how I felt anyway.

In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Come Rain Or Shine' and I would most certainly recommend the book to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Sarah's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Favorite Quotes:

Nothing was ever out of place in Victoria Blake’s kitchen. Even the plastic storage boxes on the bottom shelf all had their matching lids, proving to Tasha’s mind that her mother had done a deal with Satan at some point because how else to explain such an unnatural thing?

My Review:

This was a fun and vastly entertaining read that was enjoyable from start to finish. The storylines were unfailingly engaging, amusing, busy, and creatively detailed with a variety of activities and a full cast of uniquely quirky characters. I jumped into the series with book three, and although I didn’t struggle to keep up, I feel deeply compelled to read the first two for my own self-indulgence. I adored it!

A lovely return to Jupiter Meadows, this time we focus on Rhys who is due to inherit the estate and therefore is busy building up the business, working long hours and giving it his all.
Along comes Natasha , who is also a workaholic, she takes on the role at Jupiter Meadows for her boss, to get information about the set up, but soon falls under the spell of the place and her new boss Rhys.
It was gorgeous to see them come together, and for their relationship to blossom.
As always true love never runs a straight path, it was entertaining to watch it all pan out.
A beautiful setting, with fabulous characters made this a very enjoyable experience.

This is a sweet heartwarming book that was a joy to read. It has wonderful characters, a beautiful setting, and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. This is the perfect book to escape into and just forget about everything for a little while.
I received a complimentary copy from Boldwood Books via NetGalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was a lovely read, full of delightful characters a great location. Set in Jupiter Meadows, Rhys is looking for a new recruit to run the camping ground. He wants to make the house work and wants to find new ways to do it. Along comes Tasha who has great ideas, but she comes with a secret. What will happen when Rhys finds out. Tasha loves her job making the camping ground a success, but wonders when her lies will be found out.

A great quick read. Liked it a lot.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.

This is book #3 of the Juniper Meadows series. Whilst it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone book. We meet Tasha who has got the job managing the newly opened campsite at Juniper Meadows, but all is not is seems as she has been sent there by her current boss who wants some inside information on Juniper Meadows Estate. Rhys Travers, who is part of the family who own the Estate has no time for romance, but when he meets Tasha it's obvious there is an instant attraction!

I really like this series and enjoy revisiting it again meeting the characters from the previous books and also meeting the new ones. Tasha is a likeable character but things aren't great at home for her. Getting the job as the new campsite manager is perfect and I loved her enthusiasm for the role as soon as she arrives for her interview!! I didn't however like her secret mission at Juniper Meadows and felt really uncomfortable for her having to make some difficult decisions. Rhys is a lovely character and whilst Tasha seems the perfect romantic interest for him, you just know things won't run as smoothly as they should do.

The location of this series is just wonderful, and with the new campsite in this book it certainly becomes somewhere where you would like to visit! We get to meet all the characters from the previous books and it was fun to be part of their lives all again. The storyline flowed along well, with plenty of romance, friends and family to fill it out, along with the wonder of whether Tasha will stick to her agenda or will she be won over by Rhys and the rest of the family. A heart-warming, light-hearted read which had me hooked right from the beginning! Would recommend!

It was nice getting back to Juniper Meadows. This book was a sweet and lovely, uplifting read.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC. ~I was given this book and made no commitments to leave my opinions, favorable or otherwise~

I am new to the Juniper Meadows series and I thoroughly enjoyed Come Rain or Shine. I enjoyed it as a standalone but I'm looking forward to picking up the previous two books sometime soon.

Rhys is completely lovable and kind so it was no surprise when sparks flew between him and Tasha. For someone who had no time for romance, he didn't lose a minute in getting attached to Tasha. He recognised her talent and enthusiasm from the very first meeting and he spent the rest of his time hovering around her and fussing. He was quite adorable but I worried for Tasha when the truth about her employment would eventually be revealed. I don't like third-act breakups or unnecessary drama because the main characters can't talk to each other.
Thankfully, Rhys is no dullard and when the truth finally emerged he didn't disappoint.

I didn't like Tasha's duplicity in the beginning but I saw how she only had good intentions for improving the estate and I couldn't wait to see her quit her real job and commit to Juniper Meadows for real. I also loved her family and how terribly her mother treated her even with the best intentions as it was so hilariously over the top. She definitely added a lot of comedy to the story.

This was a lovely uplifting read by Sarah Bennett and I'm looking forward to my next visit to Juniper Meadows.

This is the third in the Juniper Meadows series from Sarah Bennett. Having not read the other two books, I was worried that it would not work well as a stand-alone title but I was pleasantly surprised that it was perfectly fine to read it without having read the others.

I liked it so much that I am now going back to read the first two books in this series.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Come Rain or Shine is the third wonderful installment to the Juniper Meadows series.

The Cotswolds is one of the places that I would die to live in, and to inherite a country estate like Rhys, for me would be an absolute dream. For Rhys its beginning to become a burden, so employing Tasha, as campsite manager seems to be the way to resolve this.

I loved finding more out about Rhys, his family connections and his romance with Tasha.

It's a highly enjoyable book, the characters are so easy to become emotionally invested in, and it's definitely a series I want to read more from.

Come Rain or Shine by Sarah Bennett

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Blurb

There are worse fates than growing up knowing that you will one day inherit a vast and magnificent Cotswolds country estate, but for Rhys Travers it has always felt like a huge responsibility.

Juniper Meadows is home to much of his extended family, not to mention the many local businesses that operate on the estate, so there’s no time to sit back and enjoy the view. Juniper Meadows is a full-time job, and that doesn’t leave much time for romance…

Tasha Blake’s career leaves no time for romance either – much to her mother’s chagrin. Tasha’s sister Danni has kindly provided two grandchildren, but Victoria Blake is keen for more! When her job takes her to Juniper Meadows for an extended project, the slower pace of life, the beauty of the countryside and the warmth of the Travers family, soon has Tasha in its thrall, and the future Lord of the Manor Rhys Travers is rather easy on the eye too.

As the busyness of life on the estate sweeps Tasha and Rhys along, they are both able to ignore the secrets and silences that are growing between them. But when the future of Juniper Meadows hangs in the balance, loyalties and love are tested to breaking point. When the chips are down, can Rhys and Tasha see a future together, come rain or shine…

My Opinion

This is the third book in the Juniper Meadows series and it was such a lovely read. It was lovely to be welcomed back by some familiar characters - Sarah Bennett includes a character list with this book which helps if you need a bit of a reminder as to who is who. Each of the characters I have met so far in this series I have enjoyed and whilst this can be read as a standalone I would recommend meeting all of the characters in the correct order.

This was an adorable read. With a great setting, this would make for a great weekend read.

Rating 4/5

This is the third book in this series & I do hope there will be more. I recommend you read the others as it sets you up for this book & they are such great reads.
Tasha is told by her boss to apply for the manager's role of the camp site at Juniper Meadows Country Estate, to spy on the business & pass on all relevant information to him. Tasha loves her new role & realises she doesn't want to be involved in any wrong doing. Meeting Rhys who is part of the family who run the estate, turns her head & a relationship develops.
A continuing story of the ups & downs of running a vast estate. Such a great read & highly recommended.
