With between 5 and 15 words per page, this is a perfect stamina book for youngsters. It is a really cute story and there are opportunities to find the chameleon in pictures as the reader goes through the story. The illustration details tell alot of the story and are engaging for kids. Youngsters will love this book!

This was a cute story about searching for a lost chameleon in the house. I loved the colorful illustrations and finding the chameleon on each page. It is perfect for preschoolers.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Such a fun story! This seems like a story for young readers who enjoy look and find books. A lovely book with fun illustrations! It’s a nice intro for a young audience for a pets unit.

An elderly gent and his dog share their humble abode with a strange, rarely seen creature. It's a chameleon who changes with nearly every page. Kids will have a blast finding the little critter, while grownups will enjoy the humor, and, especially, the dog's expressions as he spies Chameleon long before his master.

This one is sure to become a bedtime favorite.

Thank you to the author, Frances Lincoln Children's Books and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book for younger children helps to sharpen observational skills, searching for the chameleon hidden on each page. The drawings are colorful and the story is simple and not too long - a good bedtime read for younger pre-school children.

Illustrations were great and fun to try and find the chameleon. The text itself tho was a bit basic and the overall story was lacking.

This picture book is so simple, but so sweet and entertaining. Kids will likely have a great time trying to find the chameleon on each page, and will have a laugh as our main character continues to search. Similarly, the pictures are simple but colorful and effective. I think kids will ask to reread this sweet and silly picture book.

This book is so adorable. I live the art style and the "spot the chameleon" fun. My kids thought this was the funniest book they've read all week!

I thought this was an adorable seek. I enjoyed the illustration style and think the bright colors were great. Depending on the size this could be a good read-a-loud to a group but if it's too small or board book size the pages would be too cluttered and small to read to a larger storytime group like what I would need it for. A GREAT read no matter what for one-on-one and small groups!

This book is such a cute book for little readers. The premise of finding the chameleon is adorable, but the best part in my opinion is how beautiful the illustrations are. The vibrant colors and details, a child really could look at the pictures for a while and be entertained. The older man and his dog are such cute characters.

I appreciate the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in exhange for an honest review.

Okay this book is delightfully adorable. The length of the story is great for preschoolers. The illustrations are colorful and fun. The chameleon was actually quite tricky to find which made it that much more fun. The author is also a genius for including the dog. It just adds a little something and it does so brilliantly.

This was so cute! I loved the art style and the colors! I loved the flow of the story, too. And now I want a pet chameleon of my own.

An old man cannot see his pet chameleon, but we can, then he can, the end. We slowly get to realise we're seeing it in the differences from one spread to the next, very similar one, but skip the front cover of this and you may start unaware that it's right there in front of you. So this acts to some extent as a spotting-things volume, with just one thing to identify each time, and a whimsical story of little benefit. Heaven help us if the shouted title catches on in a classroom, and in fact the risk of that is what ultimately keeps this most inessential of picks at just three stars.

I loved this adorable old man and his adventure. I had so much fun looking for the chameleon on all the pages. I will say he can be hard to find so if your child gets frustrated easily you might want to spend time looking beforehand!

This book is like a kid's version of the book called "Where's Waldo". It was exciting to search for the chameleon alongside the owner and his dog. I loved the dog's reaction to its owner's obliviousness to finding his chameleon. The illustrations aren't too complicated and have a child-like appearance. I can see children loving this book. Overall, I thought it was interactive and educational. Children may learn that details matter, such as reading instructions.

Such a charming children’s book! My kids loved the colors in it and trying to spy the chameleon! It is like a present day I spy or where’s Waldo!

Chameleons are great at hiding and our main character (a Grandpa-type character) is having trouble finding his little friend. His friend the dog has no trouble spotting the hidden reptile found on every page. Children and adults too, will enjoy hunting for this little guy. The illustrations are colorful and on some pages it is quite difficult to find our hidden friend. In the end, Chameleon is found and everyone is happy.
