This was a silly story about a man who has never seen his pet chameleon. I enjoyed the illustrations and the story! This is the kind of story that will engage children because of how silly it is.
This is a dang GEM! I love the hidden chameleon on each page and that sweet man! Please make this a series!
Beautifully background illustrations and the protagonist looks great, too! I was a bit disappointed by the chameleon itself.
I loved reading this with my little boy - although he is a little bit too old for the book, he still enjoyed trying to find the Chameleon in every picture, and enjoyed shouting out the 'Come out, come out chameleon' at the end.
Lovely littl book with very eyecatching illustrations.
Thos booklist perfect for a 2.5/3year old! It's a fun story that can be interactive as the child tries to find the chameleon in the illustrations. After reading it a couple of times to my class, the kids enjoyed yelling "Come out, come out, chameleon" with me! Overall a great story that the kids enjoyed! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!
Thank you Netgalley, Jonty Howley, and Quarto Publishing Group for the advanced reader copy of the ebook! My toddler and I loved this creative book!! Pictures were so cute and it was just cute!!
Very cute and interactive. As a fully grown adult, I had a good time searching for the chameleon’s hiding spot, so I know kids will love that aspect.
This is a really cute sweet book that I would definitely recommend it’s fun it’s easy and it’s very short, especially if this is the book to read before you’re going to bed. I think I was on realistic. It is really fun to read and it’s something that can get the children looking on the Paige for the comedian.

Come out, come out, Chameleon was great fun to read. We loved hunting for Chameleon on each page, and this works great for teaching vocab as you discuss where he could be hiding and colours. The illustrations are gorgeous, the text flows nicely and it has a happy ending in that Chameleon is found
A fantastically funny bedtime read
This was such a quick read to the point where the story was super silly! The pictures were fun in this and I could definitely see a really young reader picking this up and having a few laughs.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with access to read this book!
5 stars
Not only is the story adorable, but looking for the Chameleon on each page was so much fun! Even I wasn't able to find him a few times, but being shown where he was on the next page was a delight.
Chameleons are adorable and I love how this book will hopefully bring them to more children.
It's a super cute story! My 3-year-old had a blast reading and re-reading this book! We enjoyed trying to find the chameleon and naming everything he was disguised as. I recommend this great story to end the day with for some cute giggles and a sweet moment with your littles.
A very cute story! I loved the illustration style - it was so bold and alive, colorful and interesting, with tons of details to notice throughout. And, interestingly, I loved that the main character was an elderly person instead of a child.
Come Out, Come Out, Chameleon is an easy to follow, vibrantly illustrated, cute children’s story about a man that has a pet chameleon he can never find.

This was a very cute book that’s likely intended for a slightly younger audience than my daughter (4.5) but it was an
enjoyable read that she was immediately eager to repeat. We enjoyed the colorful art and trying to find the well hidden chameleon on each page. There were a couple times she was able to find it before I was! This was a fun and cute read that would be perfect for younger kids to practice seek and find skills on and recognize patterns.
The book might have benefitted from scientific information about chameleons so that it has a bit more legs as kids get older. Why do they change color? How? We had to take some time to look up these answers after reading. This isn’t really a serious negative but after reading similar books that included a bit of science it can be a nice add on for curious kids that like to ask why.
This is an absolutely ADORABLE little book. One of my favorite parts is that it introduces young kids to reptiles and how cool they can be! Not only will this book keep your child engaged with its storyline, but you get a bonus of having a small game of “i spy” throughout to find the hidden chameleon. So cute - highly recommend this book!

This book is so funny and fun! My little guy loved looking for the chameleon on every page, it was his favorite part! I love how the art looks like it’s all colored pencil.
This story was super cute and fun! I could see toddlers and preschool age students loving this book and having fun searching for the chameleon!
Imagine having a pet you have never met? In Come Out, Come Out Chameleon by Jonty Holley the old man in the story cannot find his chameleon until he finds instructions that tell him what to do.
