ARC provided by, Quarto Publishing Group, in exchange for an honest review. My kids loved this book. Any parent knows kids love to give high-fives so they were pumped when the flaps opened!

Travel into the jungle and high-five animals as you go, in this fun interactive board book with flaps and a mirror! In the Jungle, meet an array of friendly, high-fiving jungle tiger, chimpanzee, parrot and sloth! Upbeat rhyming text encourages babies and toddlers to lift the large flaps and high-five the animals hiding underneath. Featuring a mirror on the last page so little ones can see themselves in the story ! Learning to high five is one of the most joyful milestones in a baby's development. Like clapping and waving, it's an exciting way to strengthen bonds with friends and family, celebrate happy moments and let the world know you've arrived. High-Five In the Jungle is a playful, interactive board book with bright, modern illustrations, familiar animals, easy-to-grab flaps and a fun mirror, which children will love!
High-Five Me is an entertaining series of lift-the-flap board books that allows babies and toddlers to travel the world, high-fiving all of their favourite animals and imaginary friends.
The final page of each book features a mirror and a child's hand to high five. This is a super fun ending and a way for the reader to feel part of the story and congratulate themselves for all their excellent high-fiving work! This book will be read again and again! Also available in the High-Five Me series is At the Farm.

In the Jungle by Jess Hitchman is a fun little picture book that not only teaches baby to high-five but also points out a balance of common ad not so common animals that spring to mind when teaching the youngest reading audience about the creatures that inhabit the jungle. Like On the Farm, it shares the colourful illustrations across the five double page spread, the short and bouncy, rhyming couplets, and has the interactive peek-a-boo game with the inclusion of the large size flaps.
It's an attractive book for babies and toddlers that will provide a bedtime story for many nights to come. I would have liked to have seen the animals with more definition, particularly the tiger, which was way too round and unrealistic for my liking, and I might have swapped a couple of animals out and replaced them with something like snakes, gorillas, elephants, or crocodiles but equally I admire the fact that it is different to similar books with the same aim.
If your child is a fan of Spot the Dog, and Dear Zoo books, they will find immense pleasure with Hitchmans' series.
In the Jungle is an adorable flip book for young children. It’s beautifully illustrated and shows many animals.
This would be the perfect book for young children ages 1-6 in my opinion. My students always love flip books, and the vibrant colors pull in your attention.
I recommend this book for parents and early childhood teachers.
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.
This little cutie is educative and filled with vibrantly colored illustrations. It is engaging and is sure to capture your child’s attention. It is also educative, quirky, and entertaining.
Super cute for 2-3 year olds. Doesn’t work well as an ebook because of the mirror at the end but the book is sure to be a big hit for kids.
A very fun flap book for any little one! I especially loved the surprise at the end. This is a great way to interact with babies and toddlers
A really cute flip book. The jungle animals were fun and the illustrations are perfect! Thanks #NetGalley
This is a fun and interactive way to teach children about different animals. I’ve read other books in this series and am consistently pleased by the fun pictures, flaps, and rhymes.
Just 11 pages and my 8 years old daughter like it! She just know how to read, so it was an enjoyable. Less than 10 minutes we manage to finished it. (Read aloud together)

It has lots of bright colors and fun “peek a boo” details to keep kids engaged and involved in the book.
This was such a cute little book, one I would love to read again and again with my baby. There was a good rhythm to the story and the colours were bright and engaging!
It was very cute and well constructed. I loved the interactive aspect to engage the child reading it while also helping them identify various animals.
This story had an interactive and creative touch to it, young readers will absolutely adore the idea of flipping the pages open to have animals pop out and surprise them. This would also be a great educational read for them to learn about animals in the jungle.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with access to read this book!
I thought this book was so cute! I loved the pop up feature because it’s perfect for neurodivergent children without it being too much or overstimulating. The cover pulled me in and lo and behold- my niece loved it! I can’t wait to give her the physical one. Thank you to the publishers
