Another brilliant tool to add to the toolbox when considering what books to bring out for the beginning or end of the school year. A lovely way for children to feel loved and supported in navigating transitions and feelings that come along with changes at a young age. It is indeed reminiscent of Oh, The Places You'll Go! and Guess How Much I Love You. The illustrations and colour scheme are, as always, very attractive and appealing for the young audience and it's one of those books you can just imagine parents reading for bedtime to their little ones, reinforcing how loved they are and how proud they are of them. What a wholesome way to end your day!

Highly recommended, thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my review copy, all opinions are my own.

This is a beautiful book.

I have read and enjoyed All Are Welcome with the children in my nursery, and this book is the same lovely style of illustration and writing.

It has a powerful message and I can imagine it being a heartfelt gift to a child.

I look forward to sharing this with my group upon its release.

Do you have a little one in your life who is getting ready to start school?

This beautiful love letter from carers to their little ones from the team behind All Are Welcome, sees a diverse group of families as they build towards the transition from preschool into ‘Big School’. It is a promise that their grown ups will always love and support them, always be proud and also a reflection on how far they have come and how much they have grown. That wherever they go and whoever they become, they will always belong.

“Our time together feels short and long”
“You are the words to my favourite story”
“You are sunbeams and poetry”

A must-have for pre-school bookshelves and a great gift to share with your little ones as they prepare to move into Reception.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bloomsbury for sending this eBook for review consideration. All opinions are our own.

Wow! What a heartwarming story which follows a group of different families who are gearing up for sending their nursery children to ‘big’ school.

As the children get ready for their graduation the parents reminisce about their lives so far and how whatever they go on to do they will always be proud of them and love them…I mean 😭

It certainly pulled on my heartstrings knowing I will be in this position next year & I’m so happy I’ve found the perfect book to help with such a big and emotional transition for us and other families.

Amazing! As lovely as "All are Welcome" and I am definitely buying a copy! I loved this book because it doesn't have a story as such is just an affirmation to your child that whatever happens, wherever they go, you will always be there for them, love them and be proud of their achievements. I love the concept and I find it as an intelligent way to pass a so strong message to your little ones.

I recommend it to any parent, teacher, librarian & bookseller. This is a must-have for every library/bookshelf.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author of my ARC.

This is a gorgeous ode to parenting/raising a child in any capacity, knowing that they’re being such joy. It’s a celebration of love, wishing our little people the best and celebrating everything they do. Gorgeously illustrated with a diverse mix of characters too!

Along with the author’s previous book, All Are Welcome, this book is another modern day classic that belongs in every nursery and foundation classroom. A wonderful tale about transitioning from nursery to school that is representative and inclusive and much more accessible to children than Dr Seus for example. The rhyming and rhythm flows wonderfully and is accompanied by beautiful artwork that depicts life in nursery, school and families. Thank you to Net Galley for the preview of the book. As well as recommending and purchasing for use at school, I’ll also be using for my little one who moves to school this year too. A wonderful keepsake and celebration of what our children can achieve.
