Really fun little paranormal mystery. I loved all the characters a lot and the reveal was shocking! The angst romance was nice too and the culmination scene was ominous. Thanks for the arc!

The book is gripping. The characters were interesting. So there are two main characters, Blair Wyndon and Leif Henderson. Blair is a paranormal investigator and Leif is a ghost hunter. When they receive an exclusive invitation to investigate the abandoned ghostly town of Masonville, they don’t let go of that opportunity. But the ghostly town has buried secrets. When one by one, everyone around them begin to die, they try to figure out the cause behind their unexpected deaths and find the person behind all the unfortunate happenings.
The book takes a dark and mysterious turn when Blair and Leif arrives at Hastings Manor. First the author has introduced us to the characters. And then the atmospheric setting. I loved the setting of the ghost town. Loved how characters get along with each other during their stay at the Manor. I felt sad for some characters. While the book also has LGBTQ element in it. The revelations at the end surprised me and loved how the author wrapped up the ending. The book has a mysterious ending and the twists and turns along with all the unexpected things kept me on the edge of my seat.
Many Thanks to the Author, Publisher & Netgalley.
Talk about a good paranormal mystery. The actual whodunnit was nothing less of shocking. If you are a fan of murder mystery and ghosts you are in for a treat. I loved the angst buildup romance of Leif and Blair, opposites do attract. All the characters were perfectly written and so different from one another each adding to the story. They all banded together for one common goal, staying alive. I found the pacing to be quite steady keeping me drawn into the story. I loved the premise of ghost hunting which I already find very intriguing and the ultimate plot surprising. Overall a very great read and my first with this author.
