Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read an ARC of this book.
Very refreshing to read a romance where there is no harassment or abuse between the two main characters. Absolutely adored watching Addison become her own person and find her magic. Enjoyed the bit of mystery on what happened at the book store and how the characters connected with the incident. Thank you for a fun and light hearted read!

If this isn’t true love I don’t know what is ❤️ This was really cute 🥰 excited to see what happens in the next book

Addison is a witch who has trouble with her magic, she is an expert at knowing which book is best for the reader. When Addison is told she must marry to restore the magic of her family she reluctantly attends a ball to find a match. While escaping the ball she meets Feylin the king of the fae with a grudge against her family. When an ancient magic binds the two together they decide to fake an engagement. With so many secrets, false friends and growing feelings will the two make a match or lose each other forever. The beginning of this book is excellent, sets the scene, great meet cute brooding fae lead and likeable book loving female lead. The fake dating is cute and the couple have chemistry. There are some scenes/plot points that may be problematic for some readers at the end of the book. Feylin does something very mean and is forgiven very quickly and the method that the joining is broken doesn’t sit well. I suggest checking the other reviews with spoilers if you think these points may bother you.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are mine.

Right off the bat, the cover of this book draws you in with promise of a magical and beautiful world. Taking that and the synopsis of this book into account, I was prepared to find my next favorite read, and while I did enjoy reading this book, some of it fell a little flat for me. I thought the pacing of this book was a little slow at times and I found it hard to connect with some of the characters. Although that's just personal preferences, they did contribute directly to my rating and overall opinion of the book. While I thought the plot to be unique and interesting, and I would still recommend this book, I don't think it was the right fit for me.

The moment I saw the title and cover design of this book, I was immediately drawn in. As a fan of books about fae, I couldn't resist picking it up. I found the main characters incredibly well-developed, and their dynamic was captivating. The author's intricate world-building skills transported me to a mesmerizing realm where I could easily lose myself. I absolutely adored the intense, forced closeness, the captivating shift from enemies to lovers, the web of betrayals and secrets, the palpable tension between the two main characters, the enchanting touch of magic, and the beautifully slow-burning romance. Overall, I absolutely loved this book! It was so much fun and the magic and romance in it had me completely hooked.
Love Always, Catherine

A laugh out loud funny story. Have you ever wondered if a witch and a member of the fae could fall in love? This book answers that question and more. There is an age gap between the main characters. Lovers of Bridgerton will also love the facets of the witches' ball. This is the first book of the series, as it will draw you in and you will wait with bated breath for the next installment.

If this was supposed to be parodic, it failed. It was cringe and gave more second-hand embarrassment than anything else. Once again, I wished authors would stop pitching their books as "Bridgerton" and "Pride and Prejudice" when what they mean is regency. They don't understand what's makes the appeal of the aforementioned books and fail to accurately describe their work. On top of that, this was just bad: the main character (what's her name?) was stupid and more annoying than a mosquito trapped with you at night. She was embarrassing and I just wanted to slap her.

thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.

I loved the sound of this book from the description and the book really lived up to expectations. It was a cosy enjoyable fantasy romance.
I really enjoyed reading about both main characters and the chemistry they had.
The writing also kept me engaged and wanting to read on. I’d definitely recommend giving this book a try if the description intrigues you.

FINALLY! The perfect ending to one of the most enjoyable Fae books I’ve read in my current #faeera🙌🏽
The Amazing Amy gives us two exciting main characters (and a hilarious ensemble of others) who take us on a romantical, witchy-fae literary journey.
I absolutely loved this fantasy Bridgerton-esque book and hope there are more installments to come for the Thornrose sisters and the small town of Castleview.
You seriously had me at “magical bookshop” and “book lover MC” 🫶🏽
Do you know how long I’ve waited for a well written ending which could meet my outlandish expectations and, not to mention, a five star read?

Thank you Net Galley and the Publisher for a copy of this book to review.
This was such a fun, quick read. The perfect kind of cosy romance, fantasy book. I just utterly fell in love with the characters, it was great learning about them through the story and their grumpy/sunshine nature just matched each other so well. The magical plot was also every enjoyable and the world building felt real, as if the reader could actually be there.
Overall a really fun read, that I do highly recommend.

I want to start this off by saying that the cover absolutely drew me into this book. Then I read the description and decided I had to read it as the concept is just amazing and up my alley.
My favorite part of this book is the different magic that is entwined everywhere. It really sets this book apart from most others I’ve read.
For the most part, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were a few bits where I struggled to retain attention that I believe could have been a bit more fast paced. However, I’m glad I stuck it through.
Highly recommend reading.
Thank you to NetGalley & Amy Boyles for giving me the opportunity to read this. Can’t wait to read future books by this author

I think I just found a new favorite author! I am adding all of her books to my TBR. This book was delightful! It was such a fun read. We have a witch with no powers fake engaged to a Fae King I mean what else could you ask for! The storytelling was top notch and so enjoyable to read.

The cover looked really inviting and I enjoyed the story a lot. It sets out to be a fun series about seven sisters.
I really loved the story even though I didn't anticipate to. Perhaps because of the title? It gives a really cliché impression.
Because the story isn't really useable in education I cannot recomend it to my students or to be used in lessons.

Thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing!
This book looks to be the first in a series about seven magical sisters, and I can’t wait for the next book to get here! Loved this story about Addison and Feylin, and loved watching the pieces fall in place for this series to continue. Big recommend!

The cover instantly caught my eye—it's absolutely gorgeous and begs to be picked up. The storyline had me hooked from start to finish. I adored Addison's passion for books, which added depth to her character. While I'm usually a fan of slow burns, I felt this book could have benefited from a slightly quicker pace. However, I appreciated the modern-day setting and incorporation of modern technology—it added a refreshing touch. Overall, it was a charming, enjoyable, and cozy slow burn read. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of the next book!

I enjoyed this book way more than I originally thought. The FMC straight off the bat impressed me by standing up to her ex who dumps her in a restaurant. Chemistry between the MMC and the FMC was great right off the bat, but I will say that it felt like their love story moved rather quickly. Some of the conflict felt predictable -and the resolution felt quick as well. My last critique is that I didn't like how it ended on a cliff-hanger, but that's more because I'm impatient and need to know what happens.
Regardless of the critique I gave above, there was something about the storyline, the characters, the writing that just sucked me in. I had a hard time putting the book down once I started, and I am really excited to read the next book in the series!
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for giving me the chance to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Sadly this books wasn’t for me and I didn’t finish it. I did enjoy the writing style the story just wasn’t gripping me enough to continue.

The cover initially drew me in. It so pretty and just makes you want to read it. The story line kept me intrigued throughout the entire book. I love that Addison is a book lover. Even though I love slow burns, I felt like this book needed to be a bit more fast paced for me. I loved that it was set in a modern day setting with modern tech. Really nice touch! This was such a cute, fun, and cozy slow burn read. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
spice: a couple open-door spicy scenes
TWs: death of a loved one (recounted), violence, murder, black sheep daughter
standalone: book 1 in the Seven Suitors for Seven Witches series
final thoughts: I had a great time reading this book! There were some iffy things happening in this book between the MCs that made it feel like a mildly dark romance but I didn’t mind them.
I liked the banter, the side characters (at least some of them!), and the forced proximity- they added so much to the story and kept me engaged. I loved this take on a fated mates but not really fated mates situation. This was fun, fast paced, angsty, steamy, and opens up to meeting the rest of the sisters and finding out more about them and their new suitors.
