Three women set in Cape Cod with an arty vibe incorporated. Each woman has a problem and they work it out. Was emotionally invested. An enjoyable read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me review this book.

Sarah Morgan books are the absolute best. I love them!
She always has really likeable characters and this one is no exception to this.
I couldn't stop reading this book as it was just such a lovely book in a special setting.
Thank you Netgalley.

Absolutely loved this feel good page Turner. I devoured it in a day.
Told from three perspectives Lily, Cecilia and Kristen are all ready to make big changes in their life.
They end up in the beautiful Cape Cod in the same cottage trying to find a way past their troubles.
Lots of funny and heartwarming moments. Definitely a fun summer read. I am definitely ready for the beach now!

4.5 stars - a heartwarming story about starting over and finding what makes you happy.
Told from three points of views:
Lily - mid twenties dropped out of medical school to pursue art. Has various cleaning jobs one being dune cottage where she sleeps overnight. Lily also has a connection to Kristen’s children - Hannah and Todd who she grew up with.
Cecelia - 70 year old and recently widowed to a famous artist whose marriage wasn’t always perfect. She leaves her birthday party, her daughter Kristen has thrown, after someone mentions a mysterious painting and heads to the cottage.
Kristen - Cecelia’s daughter - devastated by the death of her father and feeling lonely as her husband Theo works long hours as surgeon. Will she embark upon an affair or will her marriage work out.
I really enjoyed this story - I’ve read some of the author’s Christmas books and they all seem to have very likeable and easy to relate to characters. I love reading from the viewpoints of people at different stages of life and found something to connect to in each characters story.
I loved the setting of the cottage and the beach - it would make a great summer read or for those longing for the summer days to return.
A good palate cleanser and would recommend to all readers especially those who feel a little lost in life.
Thank you to net galley for a copy of the ebook.

The Summer Swap is told from the perspective of three different women all in different stages of there lives.
Cecilia, about to celebrate a birthday which is the last thing on her mind.
Kristen is Cecilia's daughter and feeling disconnected from her husband, lost after the passing of her father decides to hold a party for her mum's birthday and showcase her father's art but doesn't go quite to plan.
Lily having dropped out of medical school has escaped to Cape Cod, with her love for art and painting she tries to find her path.
Each with their own stories to tell, connections are made to allow each of these ladies make the decisions to move forward with a touch of romance!
It was a beautiful story, easy read and perfect for that escapism! The way Sarah described Cape Cod makes me want to book a flight and find that beautiful beachside house!
Thanks to NetGalley for the download

Another great book by Sarah Morgan. A famous artist dies leaving a secret and his wife Cecilia has to deal with it all. Set in beautiful Cape Cod. . You also follow Lily whose parents want one thing for her and she wants another.. The story is told in chapters by Lily, , Cecilia and Cecilia’s daughter Kristen who has her own problems with a workaholic husband . You can’t stop reading it. Loved it. Kept dreaming of lobsters rolls and sandy beaches. Perfect ending too.

Another brilliant escapist book from Sarah Morgan with a deep look at loneliness, family and how secrets be complicated things .
There were characters I instantly connected with and some I really didn't like, but that made it such an engaging read and something that evolved to show different perspectives which I really enjoyed.

I just didn’t want this book to end as it was just fantastic.
A perfect summer read full of romance in the most beautiful setting of Cape Cod. I loved all the characters and the relationship which developed between Lily and Cecilia was just perfect.
The ending was exactly what I wanted to happen and I shed a few tears.
Thanks to Netgalley, Sarah Morgan and HQ for an advance copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A fantastic new book by Sarah Morgan that does not disappoint.
Cecilia is turning 75 and her birthday party is only the start of new beginnings for her. She escapes to Dune cottage where she meets an old friend.
She also meets Lily, who is having her own life crisis.
As the two women forge a new friendship, can they make a new start and fix their lives successfully?
A well written book that reminds us that life is there for the living.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
The author does an excellent job of creating a multi generational story showing us how three women achieve a happy resolution to their situations. I enjoyed it but I am beginning to feel a sense of Deja vue when reading SM’s books. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. She knows what works and isn’t frightened of writing to a formula. When a writer does it as well as SM then I guess I can’t blame her.
It’s just that certain things seem to crop up and I find myself thinking - haven’t I read something like this before? In the last book? Or the one before?
It won’t stop me reading her books because they are still vastly superior to many others out there.

I adore Sarah Morgan and I was so excited to receive an ARC of this book. I’ve devoured it in one sitting and now feel a little bereft that it’s over. The setting for this one was stunning and I would so love a cottage like Dune Cottage. The characters- both minor and major were great but I particularly loved Cecilia and her bravery to face her demons head on and build a new life for herself. But having recently lost my dad Kristin’s grief resonated with me. I so look forward to Christmas when there should be another Sarah Morgan book to brighten my life.

Thoroughly enjoyable novel from the fabulous Sarah Morgan, she never disappoints! I really enjoyed this novel about family, relationships, marriage, and finding yourself - with the very strong message that you have to strive to live the life that you want, not the life that someone else wishes for you. Engaging characters, particularly Lily and Cecilia. Perfect beach read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another very enjoyable book by Sarah Morgan. This is a book I couldn't put down as it was so easy to get involved with the many strands and characters involved in the story. Very well written and easy to read. Highly recommended.
