A very early puzzle book for dino-fans, peppered with some quick facts and very useful for those youngsters who learn best through this route. It's not going to test people much – a fair chunk of it involves dot to dots, and colouring in, but beyond the artistic side there are a few mazes, word searches, and other things to get done. It covers their different diets, their footprints, and (briefly) the work of palaeontologists, so it doesn't exactly leave many major gaps in what it covers, but it does it all with such a light touch you may wish for something more substantial. Still, for someone of the right age and ability this will be a good quick look at prehistory, and will certainly offer some decent, wholesome entertainment.

I thought that this was a fabulous book!

I read and went through the book the same day that I received it, I loved that it was full of pictures to colour, puzzles, mazes and fun facts too – my daughter LOVES dinosaurs so this is going to be right up her street and I can see her having a lot of fun completing it, she loves doing dot-to-dots and then colouring them in after too.

This is definitely a book I am going to be recommending and she can easily pick the book up and do a couple of the pages as and when and I love she can learn facts as well as having fun.

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!
