I really enjoyed the audiobook version of One Last Breath by PS Cunliffe, although the Bristolian accent grated on me a bit. I found it quite relaxing listening to an audiobook rather than using my usual kindle version. The plot was engaging, believable and fairly fast paced, I enjoyed the mix of characters used and the ending wasn’t what I thought; but I liked it !!

Really enjoyed this audio book first I’ve read by this author but will definitely be reading more. Fast paced, fab narration. Excellent audiobook.

Oh this was EXCELLENT! I loved it. A multi layered whodunnit. I was so so sure I had the mystery pinned down and solved several times and I was wrong every time. You know how I love to be wrong.

Split over three timelines, really. then, now, and what led to the current situation of our protagonist Jessie, stuck in the well where her best friend lost her life all those years ago. With extracts from the documentary that she’s made to try to find the real killer and overturn a miscarriage of justice thrown in. It does take some concentration but it’s worth it, it also made it a little different. Written beautifully narrated beautifully also. No spoilers, go read it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One Last Breath by P S Cunliffe an audiobook narrated by Alix Dunmore, Ethan Kelly is totally addictive psychological thriller that gripped me from the start! Alix Dunmore did such a brilliant narration from the start! All the heart-pounding moments she read with such emotions that you could feel it!
Absolutely loved the twists! It is always enjoyable when there is more than one twist that is tangled in the past secrets! And in some way, I felt that this book was written in a way that if the author wanted, there could be potential for a sequel. Let's wait and see.

Documentary filmmaker Jessie dedicated her career to finding her best friend Amy's kiIIer as she believes that Connor was falsely accused. She manages to prove he is innocent but not everyone agrees with this so hate around grows and Jessie puts herself and Conner in a dangerous position.
When Jessie wakes up deep in the well (the same well where Amy's body was found fifteen years ago) she can't remember how she got there but she knows that she has limited time until her last breath.
Past and present timelines introduce characters from different perspectives, mistakes are made and secrets are kept. Some secrets can be deadly dangerous if get into the wrong hands... is it too late for Jessie?
