We really enjoyed this highly interactive book, which shows our little ones age 5-8 how much we all need water, humans and animals alike.

With focus on how water is a home and habitat in addition to themes of conservation and human use, activities are designed to teach our children to appreciate and enjoy water and its uses.

From making a butterfly station to learning about the water cycle, this offers plenty of engagement for all. The only thing that we would say is that it is probably better aimed at age 5-8 than the advertised 4-6 due to the length of the book and the content.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending this eBook for review consideration, all opinions are our own.

The content is relevant, practical and engaging.
I would have liked the illustrations to be more engaging as well.
Nevertheless, a great workbook to encourage young children to observe their environment, the nature and how to make more sense of the world.

Nature Smarts Workbook: All about Water is a wonderfully engaging and highly visual book perfect for the littlest learners.

This book seamlessly blends engaging activities with important information on the water cycle and all things water. This would be perfect for any unit or topic studies regarding water and is the perfect resource to add to your curriculum.
From the first page the graphics are detailed and draw in new learners. My five year old was enamoured with the little creatures and rainbows peppered throughout. My nine year old even flipped through it happily and participated in activities, it was a good refresher on some of the learning.

Filled with hands on activity ideas this becomes more than just a book. With activities on page and off you will surely find yourself picking up some water knowledge along with your new entrant.

I was gifted a digital copy of Nature Smarts Workbook: All about Water (ages 4-6) in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Thank you to the Environmental Educators of Mass Audubon, Storey Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity.

This is our second Nature Smarts book for this age range and we thoroughly enjoyed working our way through it.

This book focuses on all things water. Like the other books in the series, they're filled with fantastic illustrations, just enough info for young minds to absorb and to keep the grown ups happy.

Was a great addition to our homeschool science work.

I love this series!

This entire series of workbooks does a great job at laying out information for their targeted ages groups on different nature topics. This specific workbook focuses on all things water - from its various forms, to how animals use it, to how we can conserve it.

I especially like the number of experiments that this workbook has. I cannot wait to try some of them out with my afterschool group - most excited for the flower transpiration and ice melting race!

I highly recommend this workbook for families with little ones and educators looking for some fun and simple activities to add to their day. I will certainly be buying this and the other workbooks in this series.

Thanks NetGalley, Storey Publishing, and Mass Audubon for the ARC of this workbook!

I have a Nature Smarts Workbook for my older kid, and I was excited to see this edition for younger kids focusing on Water. This workbook is divided into sections covering various water topics: living things need water, states of water, water cycle, weather, and water around the world. Each two-page spread features colorful illustrations, a short blurb about the topic, and a simple activity to complete. I love how this workbook makes learning fun by engaging little ones. I highly recommend it and will definitely be seeking it out for our homeschool!

Thank you to Storey Publishing for gifting me with an ARC to review! All opinions are my own.
