Cassie and Jon and their young son Teddy have moved into Jon's childhood home following his mother's death. Neighbour Becca seems to go out of her way to be as decidedly unfriendly as possible, so when Cassie meets Amy in the park, she is excited to have met someone who could possibly become a friend. But Amy's strange behaviour, particularly after Cassie hires her as a dog walker, sets alarm bells ringing, and Cassie begins to wonder about the stranger she has unquestioningly invited into her family's life.

Told from the alternating POVs of Cassie, Amy, and Becca, this one will keep surprising you until the very last page. 4.5 stars

I couldn’t get into the story just as I thought. Not disappointed but need more depth, I think. I can't remember when was the last time when I read a book in which the whole plot was 100% equal to what was written in the blurb and nothing more. There was no surprise there, no resolution to any of the plot threads and the whole story was blatantly predictable and painfully dull.

Cassie and John move to his childhood home after his mom's death. They need a new start over and this is it: nice town, nice house, nice neighborhood .......but is it?
    We learn John has been holding back on a few important features of their new home and neighbors. These are distributed in bits and pieces adding to the mystery and tension in the storyline.
    There were some "really ?" moments in the story. Are people, albeit alone and looking for friendship, so willing to hand over personal information and access to their lives to a total stranger?  For a smart woman, it seemed unrealistic that Cassie would just glom on to the first person who talks to her.  
   We find out the chance meeting isn't by chance..........and then the story starts to barrel along with twists and turns that get both ugly and terrifying. The authentic personalities of the main characters develop slowly so the reader has a long time to decide who to hate most.
    A page turner with a few hard to believe moments.

This fast-paced thriller kept me on the edge of my seat while listening to the audiobook. Narrators Kristin Atherton and Emma Swan did a fantastic job at bringing the story to life, creating a creepy and intense atmosphere where needed.

In this gripping story by Frankland, Jon returns to his childhood home with his family after his mother's passing. A series of events involving Amy, Cassie, and their son leads to escalating drama, especially with the addition of the nosy neighbor Rebecca. The twists kept me engaged, even though I anticipated some of them. Overall, it was an unexpected and enjoyable listen.

This was a good suspenseful book. It starts with a couple moving into the family home. Cassie feels like someone is watching her. She meets someone new at the park - Amy seems to be so helpful. Or is she? Is she who she says she is?

This is a great medium paced thriller, which has you twisting one way, only to spin you right around again. Told from 3 POV of women you live near each other. Had me on the edge of my seat and kept me listening right to the end.

Kristin Atherton, Emma Swan did a great job in keeping the 3 women distinctive with their own personalities within the narrative. I did listen to the book at 1.75 speed which is just a personal preference with some of the netgalley audios as I find some of the pauses between chapters are a little long. I'll be booking forward to reading more of Maria's books in the future.

I enjoyed the multiple POV and the author’s writing style. It starts off with such a rush that I was expecting more plot twists, more action, and I did find some parts to drag. I also had trouble connecting with the characters or really caring about them. That said, I would still try other books from the author and will recommend as I’m sure many readers will connect better than I did. Thank you for the opportunity to read in advance!

I absolutely loved everything about this book and could not get enough of it. The writing flow so smoothly, the character building is spot on where you feel yo know them and the thrills just keep on giving. Highly recommend

I was immersed in this book from the very beginning. They story unfolds bit by bit, making you turning pages as to what is going to happen next. As I progressed into the book, my heart started beating faster and couldn't read fast enough. I definitely did not see that ending. Im glad I was given access to this book.

I found the story to be alright. The characters are quite interesting. They do bring some mysterious interest to the story.

This book started off with a bang, making me excited for some BIG twists and turns! Told through two POVs, I found the main female characters had SO much inner dialogue and didn't have a whole lot of common sense. I didn't really find anyone likable, except for maybe Teddy. I expected a lot more drama, but found the ending a bit predictable (in exception of one twist) which was a bit disappointing. This was still a fun read, but not one of my favorites.

This book was so suspenseful I was reading it with my heart in my throat. Full of twists, fast paced and absolutely slick - what a story! Loved it!

A solid story with a few surprises, but not many likeable characters in all honesty.
As the story went on, some redeemed themselves and I liked how, on the whole, the plot unfolded well.
The setting was eerie but extravagant and also a little claustrophobic, the pace was slow in parts but mostly enjoyable, I will read more by this author.

I Let Her In by Maria Frankland and narrated by Kristin Atherton, Emma Swan was an a brilliant Psychological thriller with lots of twists and turns throughout that will have you gripped to your chair and in my case I ended up taking my Airpod Pro's shopping with me! as well lol. This was a roller coaster ride and I loved it. This book was so addictive from the first page till the last. The Narrator's Kristin Atherton, Emma Swan were excellent and made this audiobook.

I highly recommend I let her in and its a great holiday read/audiobook.
