First I will say I did thoroughly enjoy the book, the characters were well thought out however extremely frustrating at times.
Cassie is married to Jon who inherited his family home after the death of his estranged mother to be kept for their son Teddy.
Jon is seemingly a very successful man who is well off and likes people to think the best of him - he is very controlling of his wife who he feels should be perfect and look perfect for the benefit of his reputation. I very much disliked every part of his character.
Carrie - the perfect wife - just wants to be a normal mum and make some friends near their new home. Having gotten herself a new job (against Jon’s wishes) she now needs a dog walker - she finds Amy, a nice lady she met at the park.
I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Amy, she seems down on her luck, very jealous of all that Jon and Carrie have. Amy however does have her downsides - almost stalker like of the home, taking Carrie’s cast off clothes and abusing their trust in the home.
The plot was very fast paced and I was eager to find out why Amy seemed so obsessed with the family.
Overall I felt it was very well written however there were parts that were quite frustrating - why not install a security camera instead of just an alarm system - saying that though the story would have been quite different if they had.
The book leaves you thinking - can you really know a person?
An easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. A quick read for any thriller fans.

I really enjoyed this book. I switched back and forth between the audio and the print copy.
It's a fast-paced , plot driven domestic thriller that was absolutely gripping from start to finish.
I was instantly caught up in the tangled web Miss Frankland created for our main characters, and I was on the edge of my seat for all of it.
There were several reveals and multiple surprises. I guessed a few but was so engrossed in the story that I barely noticed, and that ending I didn't see coming!
Thank you to Netgally , Bookature and the Author for the advanced copy. My review was voluntary.

2.5 stars // This book started a little slow for me and I struggled to get into the “thriller” aspect of it. Cassie is constantly paranoid that someone is stalking them and her “perfect” husband is never believes her and gaslights her. Once Amy comes into the picture, I started to get more intrigued on how this story was going to come together. Amy clearly had some motives for getting close to Cassie. The plot did start to pick up once it came out how Amy, Becca and Jon are all connected to Jade’s death ten years prior. I felt bad for Amy knowing she was wronging convicted for a murder she didn’t commit. Jon is an abusive and controlling husband who definitely got what he deserved in the end, but I was disappointed that Becca got away with murder because it was her who actually killed Jade.

Pretty basic thriller. I didn't enjoy the writing style very much. I didn't connect with the characters either ( probably because of the writing).

Cassie, her husband Jon, and their son Teddy moving into Jon's childhood home after he's inherited it. Cassie was glad to leave her old home behind her. At times, she felt someone was watching her. She is hoping the move to the new home will bring her friendships and a new beginning. Yet next-door neighbour Becca is sullen and rude from the outset.
Cassie 's only hope for friendship is Amy, who she meets in the park. Can Amy be trusted, or has she got an ulterior motive to befriend Cassie?
Oh boy, Cassie is so desperate to make friends that she literally lets in a stranger to her house. I think I would be a little bit more wary.
I Let Her In is told in different POV, which added to the story. There are not many characters, so it makes it easy to follow. Though I have to admit, I didn't really like either of the main characters. Cassie is weak. Jon is controlling, which really infuriated me. How did he manage to get away with it for so long?
I really thought I had the story sussed out halfway through the book, but the ending still took me by surprise.
This was an easy read, and I definitely will read other books by this author.
Thank you to netgalley and bookouture for the advanced reader's copy.

This was such a fun read. Quick paced and draws you in right away. I enjoyed the character development and friendship between Cassie and Ann. Definitely hated the husband! Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC!

This is a book that will draw you in. The description makes you want to get stuck right in.
I let her in is full ofl twists. Each and every one shocked me to the core.
Characters that you will love and plenty to hate.
This is a psychological thriller at its best. Bravo.

Wow! What a fantastic book! I was so intrigued from that first chapter so I literally couldn't put this down. I was dying to know what was going to happen. So many times I was frightened throughout this. It really has you hooked honestly and just when you think you know how it will end it completely shocks you! This author is definitely one of my favourites now! They know how to write a bestseller! I will be recommending this to everyone!

This was an ok read for me. There wasn’t anything that made it bad, but nothing that made it really good either. The plot was interesting, but predictable. It was a quick and easy read.

Cassie & Jon recently moved back to Jon's childhood home with their son Teddy after Jon's mother passed for a fresh start. Cassie is relieved to move into a more reasonable sized house compared to the house that they were living in, and happy to get away from whatever or whoever was lurking outside the house. But, what exactly is Cassie getting herself into?
It doesn't take long for Cassie to meet a new friend and they quickly became close.
Jon seems to know the neighbor, but doesn't want to tell her how. It doesn't take long for Cassie to realize that they know each other, but the question is just how well.
This book was from different points of view so really gave a good look into what was going on from each persons perspective which i really appreciate. This book was fast paced and easy to not want to put down!

I really liked this book! It was a great page turner. I will admit though, that the characters were pretty frustrating at times. There were several obvious solutions to their problems, such as secret cameras. Overall, the story was great!

Maria Frankland has deftly crafted her latest I LET HER IN, which is a well-paced, gripping and spine-chilling psychological thriller!
Cassie is excited to be moving back to Cherry Tree Lane to start fresh with her family; however her casual meeting with Amy is a cursed destiny! The moment Cassie lets her into her life, it unravels the haunted past that has many buried dark secrets, and soon Cassie finds herself ensnared in great jeopardy!
I was instanteneously drawn into the tangled web of love and hate in I LET HER IN, and was on the edge of my seat as the suspense intensified as I turned the pages, holding my breath until the end! This is a superb chilling thriller that I highly recommend to fans of mystery and suspense.

Thank you to #NetGalley, #Bookouture and Maria Frankland for the opportunity to read I Let Her In, to be published 19 March 2024. 5/5 Stars for this intense psychological thriller that kept me up past my bedtime! I couldn’t put it down! The story was described from different POVs which made it even more intriguing. The character’s were believable and some more despicable than others! The twists and turns just kept coming until the unexpected finale. Maria Frankland fans will devour this novel in no time and love every second of it. Great read! #NetGalley #Bookouture #MariaFrankland #ILetHerIn.

A gripping psychological thriller that explores the dangers of secrets and betrayal, with a twist-filled plot and a shocking final reveal.

Fantastic!
I was hooked from the get go - great paced thriller with different POV which added to the story.
I though i knew what was coming but was very wrong!
Such an exciting read, I love this author.
Top-Notch!

This is definitely a page turner! I was locked in from the very beginning - it's a very fast paced psychological thriller. I loved the multiple POVs. It was hard to root for the characters with their questionable morals. At about 85%, I was sure I had fully figured out the twist, but BOY WAS I WRONG. Each twist and turn took it to another exciting level and I definitely stayed up a little later than I should have because I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed this book!
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC!

Wow! What an exciting story this was! I love psychological thrillers and this one was really outstanding. Thank you, Net Galley for the opportunity to read this fast paced book!

This was okay. Not much in the way of twists and turns, but it was just intriguing enough to keep me reading.

Done in a better way.
Cassie, Jon and their son Teddy, along with dog Suki have recently moved to Rawdale to Jon’s old family home he’s inherited. While Cassie wants to make new friends in the area, her neighbour isn’t the friendliest towards her and instead chooses to observe the street from her windows. She feels lucky to meet Amy, who is of similar age, and quickly lets her in to every aspect of her life. But is Amy’s motive really to befriend Cassie? Let Her In is a fantastic thriller that’s best read not knowing too much about it. The information and detail surrounding certain characters really brought them to life, with some being unlikeable from the beginning. Others characters have an air of mystery surrounding them the majority of the way through, but then you find out why. Not too many characters either so makes it easy to follow exactly who is who.
This book is similar to an Emma Curtis book if you've read that book. It's a bit slow in the middle but it's done in a better way.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me an advance copy.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book. I wanted to like this book because it started strong. However, the characters were just not likeable and there were no real twists in the plot. This was just ok in my opinion.
