Super sweet family tale and as someone who doesn’t celebrate Eid, I really enjoyed reading about its customs and what it means in a family setting. Thanks for the ready copy!
The excitement of Eid through the eyes of a child!
Charmingly illustrated, The Best Eid Ever tells the story of eight-year-old Aisha who is celebrating Eid al-Fitr with her family. Alongside the traditions of decorating her hands with henna, going to the mosque, meeting and greeting others and feasting on delicious food, Aisha's Aunt has set up a treasure hunt that will lead both Aisha and her brother Samir to their Eid gifts.
The story is heartwarming and provides a basic insight into Eid al-Fitr.
At the end of the book, there is a paged titled Amazing Eid which provides more details about Ramadan and Eid, as well as a glossary.
