From the opening lines, the tension is palpable, drawing you into a world of suspense and intrigue. The author's masterful storytelling keeps you on the edge of your seat, as you follow the protagonist through twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end. With its captivating plot and well-developed characters, "Known to the Victim" is a must-read for fans of gripping psychological thrillers. Prepare to be hooked from the start and taken on a rollercoaster ride of suspense and mystery.
Nothing is as it seems in Know To The Victim by KL Armstrong. A plot that continually shifts and misdirects at every turn. This thriller is fast paced and will leave you questioning everything and everybody as the plot unfolds. I love Kelley Armstrong thrillers and am a huge fan of her stand alones and the Rockton series. I have my fingers crossed that the characters from Known To the Victim, Dean and Amy may continue and develop into a series.
This book was so good! Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. Therewere so many twists that it had me second-guessing everything!
Amy’s mother is murdered by her former boyfriend when Amy is in college. She starts a true crime podcast dedicated to crimes against women by men they know. When her brother gets accused of gaslighting and attempted murder of his girlfriend, it sets her on an investigation where she learns nothing is as it seems.
A fast paced, thriller that will keep you immersed in the story. You won’t be able to put this one down! I would give it more stars if I could!
I always love a Kelley Armstrong book. This standalone as good, a bit predictable, but at the same time enjoyable. Even with guessing the outcome, I still enjoyed the story and characters. Would have loved to get more background and details on the main male character, but since this is an ARC, that might be added before print. I could even seeing the characters in series if she wanted to go that route.
This book was enjoyable, but a little long. There were lots of twists. Some of them were predictable, but some were not. I feel like this book has a great plot and a good pace.
This book had some twists that I didn't anticipate and it kept me interested in the ending. I don't listen to podcasts but I liked how it was incorporated into the story.

Loved the podcast element of this book -
a twisting thriller with family ties brought together really well with a well plotted and paced storyline
I raced through this and finished it in a day!
A crime, Podcaster,, for whom tragic death runs in the family, gets served a twist when her brother is accused of the unspeakable. This was my first exposure to this author, but it won’t be my last! Easy read I tore through in an afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed.
I like this book . It was suspensal and it was well plotted and has enough twists and turns to keep you guessing till the end .
Thanks to the publisher for letting me review your book
Amy is a true crime podcaster that focuses on crimes against women by their partners, when her brother is accused of the unthinkable. This one had me hooked from the first page and I couldn’t put it down. It is a fast paced thriller that I finished in 24 hours (it was that good). So many books don’t have the big surprises until the last few chapters, but this one started with the twists and turns early on. Toward the end, you start questioning every character and can’t figure out who is telling the truth up until the end. This is as a great read and I look forward to reading more from K. L. Armstrong!
Wow! Very informative and interesting! Amy Gibson's mother is brutally murdered by her boyfriend! Amy becomes overcome with grief, heartache and heartbreak! She withdraws from everything and everyone! Until her half brother, Oliver saves her and brings her out of her misery! Eight years later she's doing great! She's the host of a popular true crime podcast! It focuses on crimes against women who's partners are abusive and gas lighting them! She wants to help woman in ways she couldn't help her mother! This is when the story gets very interesting! Oliver is accused of quite a few different things! She knows her half brother isn't like that! But as time passes things become a bit strange with her half brother and she's not so sure just how innocent he is! This book had a lot of very interesting facts that really do happen! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! I highly recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

A well-written mystery thriller, with plenty of twists and turns. A very enjoyable read.
Great story! I could guess a couple of the twists...but then discovered they weren't really THE twists. Armstrong is an always buy and read for me and my library and this book is no exception. As a woman of a certain age, I too love to watch all the true crime shows and see the red flags. This book was great in that the main character, Amy, has lost her Mom. Her Mom having been murdered by a person she had dated a couple of times. Amy pretty much spends her life trying to uncover the signs abusers use. I think all women do that to some extent because that is our society.
Can't wait to get this for my mystery fans at the library.
Amy is the host of an up-and-coming true crime podcast that is devoted to violent crimes against women by their partners. But when her beloved brother is accused of the very crimes she rails against, Amy becomes enmeshed in an investigation where nothing is as it seems. Know To The Victim is a wild, head spinning thriller, with nonstop action on every page, and misdirections at every turn. This is a super-fast paced adventure that I devoured in one sitting, with constantly shifting pieces that will have you questioning every new occurrence as the twisty plot unfolds. Truly the definition of a page-turner! Well done! I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I liked this one but felt like it was a little long. A lot was going on even with a small cast of characters. This is my first time reading this author and I’d like to check out their other books. This is a nice, suspenseful, page turner drama that keeps you fairly engaged. Super interesting read - recommend to anyone who liked Megan Goldin’s work!
Kelley Armstrong is one of my all time favorite authors and writing as K.L. Armstrong is just as fantastic. Loved it!
Known to the Victim by K.L. Armstrong was a very good book. I couldn't put it down because I needed to find out what would happen, who was involved, and how things really happened.
The story has good suspense and page-turning drama that keeps you reading well into the night. I really liked the author's writing style, it was engaging and crisp and held my interest.
I would recommend this book. I will also check out other books by this author.

I thought I had this plot figured out early on. Boy, was I wrong. I won't go in-depth on the story because I don't want to risk revealing any spoilers. Here's what I will say: Known to the Victim is so packed with twists, unreliable characters, and suspense that readers are going to be flying through it as fast as they can. I know I was.
K.L. Armstrong wrote in one of my favorite narrative styles — a first-person armchair detective of sorts, unraveling in the mystery in one timeline. This really allowed me to put myself in Amy's shoes, solving the mystery alongside her. It was incredibly effective, as I felt completely immersed in the storyline.
