A fun time travel book for all of our young dinosaur lovers. Learn all about these incredible animals and the world they lived in.
Very cute children's book. The story follows a school field trip turned prehistoric escapade, introducing us to a lovable T-Rex with a grin as big as its heart and a Pterodactyl that's more playful than perilous. The Velociraptor? Forget the menacing stereotypes; in Levine's world, it's a small, curious companion breaking all the rules. And who could resist the gentle giant Brontosaurus, symbolizing grandeur and gentleness with a foot the size of our hero? What makes this book roar-worthy? It's not just the whimsical narrative, but how it challenges preconceptions and fosters a love for learning about these ancient creatures.
Hold onto your dino-hats, kiddos! Dinosaur Discoveries is the adventure of the century. Picture this: a school field trip that goes from snooze-worthy to straight-up Jurassic joyride! From a friendly T-Rex with a grin that could light up a room to a Pterodactyl swooping in for an adorable aerial lift-off, this book is a wild romp through a prehistoric jungle. But wait, there's more! The Velociraptor is a sassy sidekick, proving they're not all about being the bad guys in movies. And don't even get me started on the Brontosaurus; this gentle giant is like the BFF you never knew you needed. Dinosaur Discoveries turns learning about dinosaurs into an epic, jaw-dropping adventure. Enter this dino-rific world for a ride that challenges stereotypes, celebrates friendship, and teaches you that dinosaurs aren't just history; they're your new favorite buddies! 🦖🌟
A quick and easy read for younger readers. The story of a child on a field trip to see dinosaurs. This is a pretty basic story with small facts about dinosaurs added in. It is not really what a child who is very knowledgeable about dinosaurs would find interesting. It would be a very good introductory book for kids who know very little about dinosaurs.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This was nice little short story about the most popular of dinosaurs. The pictures were very cute. It had some little facts about three of the four dinosaurs, but I would have preferred more detail. Such as: what’s a fossil, what was the velociraptor about. Were they herbivores or carnivores. Introducing new words is incredibly important to growing a child’s vocabulary. I did feel the story went from one topic to the next without a flow. I do like the questions to give time for more responses from kids
Thank you #netgalley and #bookbaby for an opportunity to review this book
This is cute for someone who enjoys dinosaurs and wants to learn more about them This book is great for that young beginning reader who likes dinosaurs. The pictures are adorable!
Very silly but cute little picture book about a little boy who goes on a field trip and falls asleep only to dream that he meets friendly dinosaurs. Kids will love this and the surprise ending. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
My daughter loves anything and everything with dinosaurs, so this picture book was a must to read. I'm not a big fan of the illustrations but she loves it and asks me to read it again and again. The story is cute, and which kid wouldn't like to meet "real" dinosaurs?!
Many thanks to NetGalley and BookBaby for an Advance Review Copy.
