I give this audio book 5 stars because the characters names were nice e.g. Foxglove and Ziggy. I thought that the voices were fun and expressive. Daisy J aged very nearly 7.

Moonlight Magic Club - Foxglove's Magical Mix-Up
Melody Lockhart

๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

This is the third book in the Moonlight Magic Club series.

I was so happy to be able to get my hands on the next two books in this series having read books 1 and 2 earlier this month.

It was great to be back with the junior witches and to enjoy another adventure with them all.

In this book, on returning from the enchanted realm with their mentor, Aunt Sandy, Foxglove accidentally brings back a stowaway - and we all know that bringing anything back into the real world from the realm means trouble!!

I just love these books so much!
They are perfect for anyone just starting to gain that love of reading and that love and joy that we all get when following familiar characters through a series.

Our junior witches are working their way through earning their witch badges - a little like brownies or cubs and so this instantly makes them relatable to this age group.

Without giving too many spoilers - in this book the mix up sees us having fun with one of the characters at her school debate - a classic English exam question - debate for or against school uniforms!
Sounds a bit boring I know....but as a parent, I loved this!
Including important parts of education within these stories - but making it super fun sounding and humorous!
Brilliant!

Again for those parents or older siblings who are reading/listening along with their young ones - I love the more mature references included in this story.
I don't know how old the author is - so not sure this was intentional or not? (Sure it was though!)
But the event in this story is known as Trixie Trouble - anyone else now reminiscing about the (now ancient!) episode of Star Trek - Tribble Trouble!? Absolutely loved it!! - and so this had me giggling along here!
Also the reference to the magic club treehouse den that's "bigger on the inside" ๐Ÿ˜‰.....please tell me everyone gets that one!? โ“

I think you can see that this series is a huge hit here and I'm moving straight on to book 4 as I type....
Cannot wait to see what comes next for the gang!

๐Ÿ’•Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my ARC copy - this is my honest review ๐Ÿ’•

Although this book is middle grade, I 100% Iโ€™m not aged middle-age, but I actually do really like this. I read to the books in this series prior and they were so fun I requested to the other books and both of them are stunning this book revolves around the magical girls, which club, and where one of them had a little mishap and two of the members switched bodies, and I think that was a really interesting concept, although itโ€™s been done a lot before it was very interesting in the way that they went about it and what they were trying to teach. I think the audiobook spot-on on the narrator was stunning
