This was such a wonderful read! It was a relatable read in many ways. Although my marriage is solid right now, we have had our ups and downs and I’ve felt many of the same emotions a stay at home wife/mom does. Also, I always enjoy seeing something a little different and a couple that is already together but facing life’s obstacles! Also the kids were fun as well as the father-in-law as side characters that brought a lot to the story. I would have liked a little more to the story maybe a little more depth but otherwise loved this book so much!

Lauren hasn’t been happy in her marriage in a long time. With her husband spending more time at work than at home she’s been essentially raising their two kids on her own while trying to find her own happiness. She’s tried to communicate with her but it seems nothing will change and they are headed for the dreaded d word.

Jack has been trying to keep his business going so his wife and kids will have nothing to worry about but he can feel his wife pulling away and he’s not sure what to do about it. After they call off their yearly summer trip he’s more concerned than ever.

Maddie & Michael aren’t letting their parents give up on each other so easily. They band together with their grandpa to hatch a plan for one more summer of nostalgia to see if they can’t force them to work it out.

This is only the second marriage in trouble romance I’ve read because I wasn’t sure if this trope was for me but I loved it so much. This might be my favorite book by Adriana and certainly a top listen of the year. It’s so easy to see how things fell apart and yet how hard it was for each of them to empathize with the other despite their years together.

It’s one thing to fall in love but it’s another thing to watch that love almost slip away before coming back together even stronger than before. This book put me all in my feels and even had me checking in on my own marriage.

I highly recommend this one if you’re looking for a fantastic engaging and emotionally mature romance that will have you falling in love with the entire Reed family. The narrators did such a good job capturing the heartbreak, loneliness, frustration and joy of falling in love all over again. This one is not to be missed.

Jack and Lauren have been married for a long time, have two children together, and both have successful businesses. They started as a happy couple but are now just going through the motions. Lauren felt neglected, lonely, and ignored by Jack. She felt she had lost herself in her marriage. In Lauren's opinion, Jack puts his career first and doesn't spend as much time with the family as she'd like. Lauren had divorce on her mind and was ready to take the next steps toward dissolving their marriage. Jack was unaware of Laurens's internal struggles. He focused on working hard to provide for his family and had forgotten that being present with his family was most important. Seeing their parents' marriage is in trouble, their children, Micheal and Maddie, work with their grandfather to bring the family back together.

This is my first book by Adriana Locke, and I am officially a fan. This is one of the most powerful stories I've ever read. This felt like a therapy session, and I felt all the emotions. This story seems to be common in some relationships. Adriana's character and plot development are fantastic. This is a realistic story, and the characters are believable. In the beginning, I found myself getting annoyed with Lauren. Although I understood she was hurting, I felt she was harsh in her conversations with Jack. As I continued to listen, I related more to Lauren and why she approached the situation the way she did. Hurt manifests itself differently for everyone. I was inspired by how Jack and Lauren were able to talk things out and get back to a good place in their marriage.

The narrators did an excellent job. Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan portrayed Lauren and Jack well. They gave the characters personality and truly brought them to life. Amy and Ryan's storytelling abilities allowed me to be fully immersed in the story. Nothing But It All reminds us that marriage takes work and true love is worth fighting for.

Audiobook review: narrated by Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan

4.5 stars for story / 4 stars for performance

This is easily one of the most impactful stories I've read / listened to I don't read many romances that start with a married couple but it lends such an interesting twist on the second chance romance trope. Jack and Lauren have been married for 20 years and have 2 teenage children. While they are still together physically, emotionally they have run their course and Lauren has decided to end the marriage. As we all know, when a woman decides to leave, the mourning process has already been done and unfortunately, by the time Jack even realizes her intent, she's ready to take the steps to dissolve their marriage. This is the story of how he fights to prevent that from happening. While it is a highly emotional story, there are some high points. The kids, Michael and Maddie, along with Jack's dad are such fun characters and end up playing a huge role in the story. This Reed family is worth of a second chance and I'm happy this story was written.

The narration was good. I did get the feel that it was somewhat emotionless at times which took me out of the story a bit. It wasn't bad by any means but my mind did wander some which usually doesn't happen to me when I listen to audiobooks. I was still able to finish it in a matter of hours which is a testament to a good audio.

A beautiful, heartfelt story of a couple trying to decide their next chapter, together or separately. Lauren and Jack's character arcs alone and together were well told. Excellent side characters. Fans of "Happy Place" by Emily Henry will enjoy this book/audio.

The fantastic narration by Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan brought the story to life.

Adriana's books are always 4 to 5 stars for me, and this one isn't any different. I love the way she sets up her characters and the story. I love second chances and marriage in trouble books. A lot of it hits home, especially as a mom and wife. I could really get a sense of how Lauren was feeling throughout the book. It was so relatable. I thought the two characters had great growth over such a short amount of time. The kids and their grandpa were definitely a big highlight of the book for me.

Before this book, I had never listened to Amy Hall or Ryan Duncan, and they are both on my radar now. Amy seemed to have really taken Lauren's emotions to heart because I felt it in her storytelling. I enjoyed Ryan a lot, especially when Jack had his inner thoughts of what the marriage was going through.

If you are looking for a book to tug on your heartstrings Nothing But It All is perfect for that.

Where to even start...
It was so refreshing to read a book that is so relatable. As a longtime married mom of teenagers I 100% felt this book down to my soul. I love every detail that Adriana put into this story. The kids, grandpa, and the damn dog even made it feel so real.
I legit ugly cried and found myself rubbing my heart a few times.... it is a book that'll put you in a chokehold until you finish it.
Although it's much different than all the other Adriana Locke books, it's one of my favorites.

The audiobook was fantastic, I highly recommend both reading AND listening to this book y'all!

Lauren and Jack have been married for twenty years, but he’s always working, leaving her to take care of everything alone. Lauren wants to live her own life, so she’s contemplating divorce. Jack didn’t realize how she was feeling, but he is determined to change her mind when he finds out.

Michael and Maddie, their teenagers, were so fun and such troublemakers (but in a good way). I loved the way they worked with their grandfather to help Lauren and Jack rediscover their love for each other.

I felt for Lauren. The emotions she felt were valid, and I was glad that Jack opened his eyes to see things from her side. She didn’t just forgive him and let things go back to the way they were; Jack had to actually follow through. And he really put in the work to show her he still loved her and needed her in his life.

This book was angsty and emotional. It was a journey of heartache, sacrifice, and love.

These two did a great job bringing the story to life. Their voices were perfectly matched for their respective characters, and they did a great job differentiating their voices for different characters.

I loved this story with its marriage in trouble with a parent trap twist plot from Adriana Locke!

Lauren and Jack are married with two teenage children, and they each run a successful business. What's not so successful is their marriage. In the Prologue we see the cracks that have formed and how they fight but never resolve anything. Now, two years later, nothing is better between them. That's when the kids and Jack's father conspire to bring them back together.

Adriana did a fantastic job with creating Lauren and Jack. They were realistic characters with realistic problems in their marriage. At some point they stopped connecting and understanding what being apart and working all the time was doing to their relationship. I could relate to Lauren's feelings of the neverending work of being a stay-at-home parent. When you're home and children are your job it's really hard to turn it off, and feeling like you are not supported by your spouse can be so hard. I really liked seeing the two of them come together with the forced proximity of being at the cabin together with the family. It was wonderful to see their spark reignite as they got back to what made them work and how much they loved each other.

This was such a wonderful story with great character and relationship development. I enjoyed reading it both as an ebook and audiobook. The narrators were both easy to listen to, and they brought the characters to life nicely. This is one of my favorite reads so far this year!

This book was a vast departure from the typical meet and fall in love with a happily ever after. Lauren and Jack are on the brink of splitting up. They're living separate lives while raising their teenagers Michael and Maddie. The teens are disappointed that their summer at the cabin is cancelled, but Lauren can't fake it anymore. Then weird requests keep coming... early pick up for Maddie from a sleepover, picking up medication and groceries for gramps and bringing it to the cabin. As they spend time together, albeit forced in the beginning, Lauren and Jack begin to realize what brought them together and why they needed to give themselves a second chance. Oh how this story made me cry!

Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan brought their talented voices to this story. They brought Lauren and Jack to life and gave their characters personality. I hope to listen to more books narrated by this duo.

This was my first Adriana Locke book and it did not disappoint. I loved watching Jack and Lauren find their way back to each other. As with many relationships they are not perfect all the time, if ever, and Adriana's story hit the mark with a loving couple that had seemingly reached their expiration date, but wasn't ready to fully throw in the towel.

The difficulty of marriage shows in this book. The couple is so much in love and yet so distant from the other. They try to find a way to close that bridge. This book had me wanting to cry and had me angry at times. I could feel how they each misunderstood the other and built their attitude on those feelings. This book was a great listen. Some great lessons are within this book as well.

Lauren and Jack’s love story was an emotional journey overcoming their struggles. Despite their issues, you could still feel the connection between them. It was a well written story, and I loved all the supporting characters.

Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan did a nice job portraying these characters.

I never knew I needed a 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙥 like story! But, 𝙰𝚍𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚊 𝙻𝚘𝚌𝚔𝚎 wrote it so I'm definitely gonna read/listen to it! Once again, she doesn't disappoint her fans & I had this one done in one day!

I adored the characters within this story. They were dealing with some real to life issues & I felt their struggles like they were my own. Jack & Lauren were beautifully chiseled. They had flaws but they also had perfections and I loved it! Following their journey, watching as they come to terms with their true selves and feelings....it was an emotional ride, but one I was glad to have taken!

Let's not forget the meddling kiddos that only want the best! Michael, Maddie & even Pops were also chiseled beautifully & became real for me. The way they wanted to save their parents marriage.....it was both fun & extremely emotional!

Now for the narrations. This was my first time hearing 𝐴𝑚𝑦 𝐻𝑎𝑙𝑙 & 𝑅𝑦𝑎𝑛 𝐷𝑢𝑛𝑐𝑎𝑛. They did a wonderful job! You could feel the emotions of the characters roll through you as you listened. They gave life to these beautiful characters & emotional second chance story & I will be listening to them again.

If you are looking for a story that will flood your heart with all the emotions, from happiness to sadness & back again, this is it. You'll find yourself laughing, crying & not wanting to say goodbye! Great job, once again, 𝙰𝚍𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚊 𝙻𝚘𝚌𝚔𝚎, on another incredible, captivating story!

Loved this!!! It had all the feels.

Adriana Locke has done it again. Every time I think she’s rung all the emotion out of a story, she tops it. This story is a little bit of a departure but it’s one of the most emotional I’ve read. It follows Jack and Lauren who are struggling in their 20 year marriage. Their teenage kids decide to scheme with the help of their grandfather (who is a hoot) and bring everyone together for one more summer in hopes of bringing their parents together. The secondary characters and their stories are wonderful additions to Lauren and Jack’s story.

This is a honest emotional portrayal of what an ‘imperfect marriage’ looks like. This one really hit home. Anyone that’s been in a long-term commitment will probably relate to parts of this. It’s easy to get complacent and take each other for granted or simply let life get in the way. Marriage is not perfect, despite what all our favorite romance novels lead us to believe. Adriana does a wonderful job of showing us how satisfying a perfectly ‘imperfect’ marriage can be.

Ryan Duncan and Amy Hall are new to me, and I didn’t know what to expect. They were both compelling and handled this challenging material flawlessly. I really enjoyed both performances and will look forward to more of these two in the future.

Lauren and Jacks marriage has been on the rocks for a while. Jack is constantly working and never home, and Lauren is tired of doing everything for everybody else and not having the opportunity to find her own dreams as an individual. Two years after the first marriage ultimatum, Lauren has started a popular scrapbooking business with the help of her daughter’s social media managing and she is ready to give up on her marriage. Her two kids, however, don’t want their parents to split up. They team up with Jack’s father to trick both Lauren and Jack into spending a couple weeks at their family’s cabin on a lake a few hours away. Thus begins shenanigans between the three to force Lauren and Jack together. I loved watching/listening to Lauren and Jack’s communication evolve as they address what went wrong in their marriage and if they’re even able to fix it. This book was very serious, mature, and compelling. I went from being hesitant about Jack to rooting for them to truly get back together.
 
I loved this book so much. It’s a more serious Adriana Locke book and definitely a standout to me. Be prepared to keep some tissues handy but don’t worry- the queen of happy endings won’t let you down.

This Audiobook was beautifully narrated by Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan. I LOVED their portrayals of the characters…the angst, the guilt, the enlightenment…really enjoyed their performances!

Love is not always easy. Keeping love alive in a marriage can become hard work as the shifts and changes of life come and go. Reading through a book with an established couple that is facing real life hardships and interruptions hits on a whole new level for me in the space and age I am at. I love seeing that there is a story out there for all ages and seasons of love.
Getting a story that is beyond the introduction and beginnings of love is something I am enjoying more and more. Real life, real love, really emotional.
The narrators did a beautiful job bringing the emotion of these characters to the life. I could feel the heartache and the inspiring love reblooming through their voices.

From the first few pages of Nothing But It All I thought this was a special story by the time I finished I knew this was a very special journey for Lauren and Jack Reed and I was so pleased to be part of their journey.
Amy Hall and Ryan Duncan did a wonderful job bringing the story and the characters to life. This is the first book I have listened to that was narrated by them but it won’t be the last because they were spot on it’s the emotion, the love and the humour.
Lauren and Jack seem to be going in opposite directions and it takes an intervention by their children Michael and Maddie who get their grandfather to hatch a plan to get their parents back together.
A family break at a lakeside cabin in Story Brook, Ohio is just what they needed to have them realising they still have feelings for each other.
Nothing Bit It All ticked all my boxes, it’s emotional and entertaining, it’s witty and sad and it has wonderful characters. I smiled, I cried but more importantly I fell in love with this family.
