The second this book dropped in my inbox, my whole TBR got ignored IMMEDIATELY. I am a massive Lindsey Kelk fan and, as expected, absolutely loved Love Story!

Sophie has a secret...she has written the recent smash hit romance novel, Butterflies. But when she spends the weekend with her family, who are all in publishing, and her enemy/crush, will this stay a secret for long?

Love Story was such a great read which I flew through in less than 2 days. I was hooked from the very beginning, desperate to see how the big news would be revealed and whether she'd end up with Joe, the perfect enemies to lovers/only one bed trope. This book will be recommended to everyone I know and I already have my copy pre-ordered!

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy.

I loved the whole story and I just adored these characters. Definitely need a follow up book with these characters because I feel like their journey is just beginning.
Oh and there are many sizzling hot moments in this book.
Will definitely be recommending this book.

Let me start by saying I have always been a fan of Lindsey Kelk and I’ve read and enjoyed every one of her novels. But just lately she’s somehow managed to step up her game. Her last few books have been sheer perfection.

So, it’s fair to say I went into this newest release with very high hopes. And Lindsey only went and smashed it out of the park yet again! I think this is her best novel to date.

It’s all about Sophie, a primary school teacher with a secret literary career as Este Cox - author of a spicy romance novel that’s taken the internet by storm. The only problem? No one knows it’s her work. So, what happens when new nemesis Joe works it out? Yep, you guessed it - this is an enemies to lovers romance (which is only one of my favourite ever tropes).

This whole novel reads like a love letter to the romance genre, and to Gen Z who have fully embraced the genre. I loved it so much that I am actually going to do something I never do with @netgalley arcs - I am going to buy my own copy for my shelves!

I HIGHLY recommend this books to fans of the romance genre. This book is a pure delight from start to finish.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a free review copy in exchange for an honest review.

Lindsey does it again with another fantastic 5 star book. I have read all of her books and every time I think they get better.
The story is focused on Sophie Taylor and the giant secret she is keeping from almost everyone.
I loved the characters (well apart from one or two, no spoilers) and I think William was my favourite with Joe a definite close second as he was almost perfect.
The family dynamics and sibling rivalry added to the story and the birthday party was brilliant and laugh out loud in parts.
The romance in the book was just exceptional and I loved the book and author references along with plenty of Taylor Swift mentions and plenty of humour.
An amazing book which I could not put down.

If you know me, you know how much I love Lindsey and all of her books. Her books are auto-buy for me.

❤ This book has genuinely made me feel like I did at the very beginning, when I first sat and read I Heart NY for the first time. I'm not exaggerating when I say I devoured it.
I laughed so hard at one point, I'm not going to even tell you what happened😂, but it was William's insults that done me in. I kept notes to try and remember it all but I went through all the emotions - I laughed, I gasped, I felt so angry at some points and I felt teary when it was all over.

The book is about Sophie and Joe, and even has some spice, with Lindsey's well-known clever humour throughout. But at the heart of the book, and what really spoke to me, it is a love story about romance books and to all of the amazing writers out there and to us, the readers, and about never apologising for who we are or what we love to read.

Expect some serious chemistry between the two love interests🥵 loads of laughter and to really feel connected to other romance readers everywhere💕

@lindseykelk thank you for this beautiful book and I'm so so grateful I got the chance to read this early.I can't wait to get my greedy little hands on the physical copy❤❤❤

I don't know how she does it but every story just gets better!
Lindsey Kelk's new novel - Love Stroy centres around a secret - Sophie (a primary school teacher) is a worldwide, best-selling author - except only two people know this - her brother and her godfather - both of whom happen to work in the same publishing house. The reason Sophie is keeping her secret is because although her book is a hit - it's not the kind of book her headteacher, her parents or her ex would approve of - so Sophie just keeps her identity hidden. Until, along comes Joe - they both feel an instant connection but Sophie doesn't want to pursue it further.....or does she?

The story takes place over a weekend of celebrating Sophie's father's 60th birthday. Secrets are unraveled, there is sibling rivalry and a little bit of spice thrown in. I particularly loved ALL of the book references!

A fantastic, witty read that I devoured in a few hours!
