This book wasn't for me. Normally I love opposites attract, but Alex and Maya were so over the top they felt like caricatures. He's free as a bird and she's super type A. Complete opposites and yet somehow both equally annoying.

A fun quick read that is honestly perfect for the upcoming summer! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for a copy of this book.

A romance read. A good one at that.
It has self development, fun, hope, romance and a good storyline behind it all too.

I found myself routing for the characters and it had a feel good feeling throughout.

I really enjoyed this book. It follows Maya, who is a lover of the rules and budgets and plans, and Alex, who is far more laid back and relaxed, as they both book a last minute deal to spend a week in Mallorca, but when there’s a technical issue with their booking, they end up having to share the hotel suite. It felt like a cross between “you and me on vacation” by emily henry and “the wake-up call” by beth o’leary, and it is a great summer romcom. I was just a little disappointed because it felt like there was something unresolved at the end, but I still enjoyed it overall and rate it 4.25 stars.

This book was so much fun to read, I always adore books set on holidays, especially since I live in Alaska where it's cold. I really enjoyed the grumpy sunshine trope in this one, especially since Maya Took on the grumpy role and Alex the Sunshine. The pacing was super fast in this one which made for a quick read. I wasn't aware that this was a dual timeline story which was confusing in the beginning and I had to go back and reread chapters just to understand everything properly but that is a me problem and not a fault in the story. I did feel that the relationship was quite rushed and they went from enemies to lovers in a blink. Although they do have a short timeframe I feel it could have been slightly more gradual. Overall this book was so cute and a fun summer read.

This was a fun read although I felt it tailed off a bit towards the end and there was barely any romance to make the two main characters convincing. the story was a good idea, a mix up with a last minute holiday with two people paying for the same holiday but only one room available, so quite predictable but still fun, a bit more romance would've improved it x

I enjoyed this light summer read about two different people thrown together after a booking mix-up.
Maya and Alex being chucked together in a luxury suite would always have consequences, wouldn't it?
They even overcome her list of roomie 'rules' and his inability to follow them. It's a total Grumpy vs. Sunshine thing going on here, with the FMC being the grumpy one!
It may sound simple, but there are deeper layers to the story, dealing with loss of trust and loss of belief in oneself, as well as coping with the loss of a loved one.
And the resort they end up at sounds amazing, too. I'd happily read this on the sun lounger there, with the tanning waiter at my beck and call!
A great one-bedroom forced-proximity story in a setting that is idyllic, too!

I liked that this book took well known tropes and sticks them in a blender. It gives the book a fresh air, however I feel like the book is lacking a bit of chemistry and runs out of steam towards the end. It was a pleasant read but not something I’d reach for again.

Also, I don’t really feel like the title fits the book - there’s nothing accidental about the holiday but a mixup? This might just be me being pedantic like Maya.

I enjoyed the premise of this book but I think it could have played out a bit better than it did. It almost took slow burn to a whole new meaning. Both MCs didn’t really spend that much time together in the book. The roommates/one bed trope wasn’t a main part of the storyline like I thought it was going to be. There seemed to be a lot of text but not much going on.

Both characters had deep back stories that they had buried deep inside them. It was cute to watch them get closer and unravel their secrets that they had been hiding. The trust they built in this book was so strong as they put themselves in vulnerable situations.

I liked reading this book, I just wish we had slightly more romance between the two main characters.

It's such a fantastic plot! I could not put the book down once I began reading it. I cannot wait for it to be released. I will recommend it to everyone, I'm sure they'll enjoy it as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story and how it seemed like it could be light hearted but also had some great depth to it. Maya and Alex are good characters.

This is not my usual genre but I really enjoyed this book. The story of Maya and Alex set in the beautiful setting of Mallorca was fab. It really helped bring the story along as you could definitely see and feel the setting. Loved how it wasn’t just your typical enemies to lovers thankfully it was just a fun story and as the book progresses you can see why they are there. Loved how all the characters involved all came with their own endings to round up the their stories. This book will make you chuckle, say aww and make you roll your eyes all at once it’s set in a modern time but gives you the good feel factors. It is a perfect summer light read with a glass of sangria and a pool.

It's a great holiday read and I do think people who enjoy Christina Lauren or Emily Henry will enjoy this as well.

The Accidental Holiday was a light, fun read. It was a bit fluffy at times, but perfect for a day at the beach. I enjoyed the storyline and like a good slowburn romance, so this worked for me.

This book was an absolute delight to read under the warm sun! I was completely captivated by it, as it perfectly encompassed every aspect of a summer read that I adore. I have a deep fondness for books that transport me to holiday destinations, where characters are brought together by chance and have a shared history they yearn to overcome. And let's not forget the delightful banter that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the story. This book had it all! It wasn't your typical enemies-to-lovers trope, but rather a refreshing take on 'your presence here is an inconvenience'.

The pace of the story was exhilarating, and I found myself eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next. Although I thoroughly enjoyed it, I couldn't help but wish for more activities to be included. The development of the relationship between the characters felt a tad rushed, but given the limited time frame of a week-long holiday, it was understandable.

Overall, it's the perfect beach read that had me whizzing through the pages.

This was a cute little read, predicable yes but I enjoyed it non the less.

It did have some elements that felt a bit unrealistic but still an easy holiday read!
