If you are into an erotic / sex laden fantasy this may be for you.
The story is well paced with the characters and world building well developed.
The sorcery is very minimal.
If you want to take a chance this may be for you.
I couldn't put it down. The world-building is great and I absolutely fell in love with the main characters.
I love the characters (main and side), the world-building is fascinating, and the bond between FMC and MMC is amazing and unusual. This book had my laughing out loud a few times, and I read it in one day. Okay, I’m actually hooked!
Sorcery & Sin in the Second World is an unexpectedly wonderful journey that seamlessly blends the ordinary with the extraordinary. Rena, stuck in the monotony of her office job, stumbles upon a portal in her backyard, propelling her into a world filled with sorcery, warriors, and magical beings. The twist in the tale occurs when her husband, Pal, follows her through the portal only to discover that time functions differently in this fantastical realm. As Rena's two and a half hours translate to two and a half years in the second world, Pal embarks on a quest to find her. What unfolds is a tale of sorcery, love, and self-discovery. The book skillfully navigates between the mundane and the magical, keeping readers engaged with its unique premise and exploring themes of love, adventure, and the unknown.
Hold onto your broomsticks, people! Sorcery & Sin in the Second World is like a wild rollercoaster through a realm that makes Hogwarts look like a daycare. Picture this: Rena, the queen of office boredom, stumbles into a portal and bam! She's in a world with warriors, dwarves, and armies of corpses. But here's the kicker – her hubby Pal follows, and time goes cuckoo bananas! Two and a half hours here? That's like a freaking vacation in the second world. Pal's on a quest, and it's not just about rescuing his lady love; it's about sorcery, sex, and self-discovery. If you're tired of the same old love stories and want a fantasy ride with a side of sass, Sorcery & Sin in the Second World is your ticket to a reading adventure that'll make you laugh, gasp, and maybe even wish for your own backyard portal. So, grab your wand, your popcorn, and dive into a world where the only sin is not reading this book!
