A very handy guide to getting started with the NetGalley Reading Journal. I wouldn’t have known how to start with the Journal if it wasn’t for this easy to understand guide. I do wish it had a bit more information on how to actually edit the journal once you’ve imported it into Goodnotes - I can’t seem to get the typed edits to align with the paragraphs on the Journal pages. But it’s also quite possible that it’s just me still being a newbie to the app.

Short and Sweet guide to 2 different ways to utilize the free downloadable reading journals offered by NetGalley. Would recommend for anyone who would like a starter guide for using note taking apps in combinations with downloadable pdfs for the first time.

This little primer is a good guide on getting started with the applications needed to keep a reading journal.
It discusses multiple notetaking applications for using the NetGalley PDF, always a plus to give you some choice, and even discusses multiple platforms.
The formatting was an easy to understand tabbed interface, uncommon for a book, but good for a primer like this, especially when used on readers that do not give easy access to contents.

2025 will be the first year that I journal my readings, so I had a lot of questions about setting up my journal and how to use Goodnotes, this journal answered a lot of them. Thank you, NetGalley!
