I was completely lost until I realized there was this user guide.
I definitely recommend downloading this if you plan on using the reading journal.
So useful! It's very detailed and I found it super interesting. I can't wait to use the Reading Journal soon!
I really needed this user guide. As a millennial who didn’t use any note taking apps in school I had no idea where to start to fill in the digital journal. Now I can get started!
Helpful resource for the journal. Very useful. I am sure that I will be referring to it quite often!
I can't believe I didn't realize this was available earlier! It's been so helpful in explaining and guiding me through using the Reading Journal from NetGalley. I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering using the NetGalley Reading Journal.
Thank you for providing a new way to journal our reading. This guide was very helpful to navigate. This is very useful for my reviews and tracking my books.
This user guide was very helpful in using the netgalley book journal. it helped me learn where to upload the journal to in order to write everything that I want. It also helps me to figure out how to book book covers in the journal and duplicate pages because I needed more pages for reviews than were provided in the journal. Overall I feel this was a very helpful user guide.
Thank you to We Are Bookish for providing the NetGalley Reading Journal User Guide and the Reading Journal. I am still learning, but this user guide has been helpful in getting me started. I will point out that of the suggested "free" apps, Goodnotes (Goodnotes 6) actually asks the user to subscribe for a price - at least after the basics are completed. So I switched to Xodo and am using it on my laptop. So far, so good! As someone who loves everything about books, I am having a good time. It would be nice to see some of the journaling by other users to see what has been done.
This was a great user guide! I appreciate the details on Goodnotes so I can use the journal on my iPad.
I was flying blind with it at first, but this was a great resource for the best apps to use to make the journal my own. Very helpful, thank you!!
What a fun way to journal your books. The only thing I didn't like is having to pay for the recommended apps to use with the journal. I will look for one that is free. #NetGalleyReadingJournalUserGuide #NetGalley
Very helpful guide and made using the journal a lot easier! Loving using the digital journal, and this makes things a lot easier.
For those who want to use the NetGalley Reading Journal, this User Guide is helpful. It did give me the information I needed to try out the journal (which isn’t something I will actually use). The biggest problem I had with this guide is that the recommended apps to use for the reading journal were pay-to-use (after a short free trial—the one for iOS at least was set up like this) and I had to search to find a different app that was totally free and still did the same things. If you already had the recommended app and wanted to use the digital reading journal, then this guide would be a great help in getting you started.
Was very helpful in getting the reading journal set up on my laptop and phone, I was very lost at first since I've never used a digital planner before. Now I'm set and ready to track this years reading!
Love that NetGalley gave us this! Thank you so much!! It’s so much fun!
I have a journal like this physically but to also have one now digitally is amazing.
Super, super helpful tips and tricks and best downloading hacks. This guide made it super easy to use the Net Galley reading journal. Without it I wouldn’t have been able to figure out the best app to use it through. So great for the bookish people to make this for readers. I can’t wait to look back at my journal at the end of the year. This guide made setting it up, super easy.
This guide is comprehensive and easy to use. While the reading journal is highly intuitive, it’s helpful to have the guide, especially if you’re new to Goodnotes.
I thought this was a Blog post not a Book to Review. At this point in my reading life I'm not ready to start a new way of keeping track of books I've read. Goodreads can be clunky but it's the devil I know.
This was just the perfect handy dandy little user's guide! It was so nice of the Netgalley team to create a reviewer scrapbook for
us to use. I received this complimentary guide from Netgalley to use and review and was not required to write a positive review. The thoughts above are solely my own.
Good FAQ for working with the reading journal! Answered all of my questions. Glad to know I'm already always using the preffered PDF reader ;)
