I feel like the premise of this is interesting but the amount of steps you need to take and other apps to download this make the execution mediocre. I would actually prefer to see something that could be printed out and used alongside your reading.
Journaling has become very popular again especially in combination with things like NetGalley and Goodreads. I’d love to see NetGalleys own version of that with her downloading but printing instead and then we could print our own stickers and use our fun pens and highlighters in conjunction!
I love this! I’m new to NetGalley and to have a guide is great! I bypassed this for the cover. I’m glad I went back though!
Lots of handy information for journaling your book reading adventures. Thank for creating these guides!
Thank you so much for this digital journal. It makes keeping track of my reading (reviewing) so much easier. And, I love the addition of the stickers.
this is very helpful! now i can have another place to keep my netgalley stats!!
Thanks to netgalley for providing this!
Great guide, really helpful for those of us who want to switch to a digital journal but don't really know how to use it. Thank you!
Quick and easy and very helpful! Love it!thank you!love the little tips and ideas! Thank you netgalley!
This was helpful. I don’t have a way to use the journal but I couldn’t figure that out until I read this book.
Love it !absolutely great !straight to the point and very helpful!love these little guides and how they are sumple with so many different hints and tips!thank you to netgalley!
The guide has a straightforward set-up. It goes into detail about loading on devices and how to use. The issue I had was actually getting the journal loaded on my device so I could use it correctly. Even following all the steps exactly, the journal did not want to transfer until several attempts were made.
Thank you to We Are Bookish and Netgalley for the useful resource.
I was delighted to download a copy of the Netgalley Reading Journal. It meant I could keep all my reviews in one place and monitor my reading activity and TBR list for the year. However, the journal was not as simple to use as I initially thought.
The Netgalley Reading Journal User Guide was extremely useful in that it provided suggested programmes to use to open the journal in an editable format and gave direction on downloading tthe sticker packs, best practice for using the book, and all that you would expect from a user guide. It also set me on the path to creating my own stickers to customise my journal.
Although this book points predominantly at Netgalley with the recording of specific stats, the Reading Journal and this guide is useful for any reader reviewer that opts for a digital as opposed to a physical record of their reading.
This reading journal looks like it might be beneficial to a new reviewer who hasn't already found another way to stay organized.
Fairly straight forward instructions for downloading the Reading Journal, but the app it recommended for android use doesn't seem to exist. I downloaded the Ios one but couldn't really work it out. Probably my mpatient brain but this is not for me
A very handy guide that answers all the frequently asked questions about the Netgalley reading journal!
Thank you to Netgalley and We Are Bookish for providing it!
Great to know and useful information. I had never heard of the apps mentioned before and have since found the Xodo app for Android very useful.
Very effective manual. Made it easy to use the journal! It was easy to read, and easy to navigate while using alongside the journal.
was not what i was expecting from the title but thank you anyway for this and wish the best hopefully helpful for some people out there
Great and useful if you use the NetGalley Reading Journal. A lot of pages and explanations to help you
This wasn't really much useful tbh, because I tried using the NetGalley Reading Journal in my notes app, and it didn't work as well as I wanted to it. And installing a whole another application to use the journal feels like overdoing things tbh. I think I'd prefer using a PDF converter, and using this in the form of a Doc, or just using a PDF editor. Notes app is a definite No for me though, I gotta say.
I still really love the layout of the journal, it's cool af, and I'd have loved to have a journal like this in the form of an app or something (If I were rich enough, I'd have loved to get it printed too, but I'm too damn broke for it heheee)
Provides some details on using and posting reviews. Helpful resources which assists the reviewer in meeting review guidelines and items to include in the posting. There are also some hints on adding things to make the review standout and dazzle.
