Loved Meg Rosoff's "How I Live Now', and this didn't compare for me. I think I went into it expecting something different but I still appreciated this read. Similar to How I Live Now we have childhood(s) on fast forward and the language in this is beautiful. I'll certainly keep picking up Meg Rosoff's books.
