Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book.
I had never read a book about WWII where a Jew had been able to escape before things got really bad. It was a very interesting story about how much can you love someone and no matter what you are committed to them even though you aren't married yet.
At the beginning I was very intrigued and than towards the middle it became a little slow. I felt like all I was reading was them trying the same things over and over and nothing happening. When I got towards the end though I was glad I finished it. Thinking about everything they went through and all the set backs. I can't imagine being the actual people going through everything and getting turned down everytime. Now I appreciate that the middle part was slow because that's really how they're life was. I'm glad I read this book to learn about this beautiful love story.
