A very heartwarming story that uses dogs to teach the "love is patient..." passage from the Bible. As someone who dealt with harm from a church, this book felt comforting. It highlights the beauty of Christianity and the teachings, without creating judgement or pain. It teaches with Christ-like compassion.

This was such a cute little story about the unconditional and unparalleled love that dogs have for their humans and for one another. I loved the overall message that it sent and i think this would be a great story to share with people of all ages, but especially young children who love and have a connection with their furry canine friends.

4.5 stars. This book was adorable! Loved the pictures of the dogs. The stories were good and it was a cute way to teach important lessons in life. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC, though my review is unbiased

This book generated many smiles, a few chuckles, and more than one tear as I read these short stories of how man's best friend brings love and affection amongst the mischief and steadfast loyalty. This book really needs to be shared with everyone. It's bound to brighten their day.

A beautifully illustrated heartwarming book. I see this being used for comfort: during a thunderstorm or waking from a nightmare. Each lesson has a picture and they are all realistic as well as pretty. Forgiveness, patience, kindness, etc are all addressed individually over a couple of pages. There is an air of familiar Christian vibes without scriptures.

In the Author's Note a scripture is given that led the author to write this book.

Tails of Love would make a nice addition to any child's library. I do think this is best read with a parent or guardian. There is a lot to unpack in each reading.

This was just beautiful. Life lessons about love and kindness and patience, all told through short stories with the dog as the hero. If one dog catches a ball before another, then both are happy and wag tails, dogs who have won awards for being pure bloods are no more proud than the mutt that they are sat next to, dogs don’t count all the wrong things you do up and are so pleased to see you when you get home. The examples are perfect, the dogs super cute and the book is an excellent way to share with children (and adults) that there is a nicer way to live.

This book enticed me in by the cover as I am a fellow dog owner but the inside of the book I did find slightly disappointing. I understand what the book was trying to do by showing the difference in dogs and their natures but how they are always loving but I just found this done in a slightly unusual way. It was representative of 1 Corinthians 13 so I do understand the premise of this but i feel the meaning behind the book could have been written in a slightly better way. I also did not like how on one of the pages a child hit one of the dogs. If a child was reading this they may think hitting a dog is ok when all they did was break a vase. I don't condone that sort of behaviour for an animal who had a clumsy accident breaking a vase so this is another reason for a slightly lower star rating

A very cute collection of parables that beautifully encapsulates the essence of love through the eyes of our beloved four-legged companions. Each tale within this book is a wonderful reminder of the profound lessons we can learn from our furry friends. From the playful side of puppies to the wisdom of older dogs, every story captures the magic of the bond between humans and canines. As a dog lover, I found myself completely immersed in these stories, experiencing a range of emotions from joy to heartfelt warmth. Tails of Love is a great read for anyone who appreciates the unconditional love and loyalty that dogs bring into our lives.

Perfect for dog lovers but a great lesson in each story for those who don't have pets. Love is... each short story is filled with amazing emotion, acts of kindness, and valuable lessons that people should acknowledge, learn from, and mimic. I love the illustrations, they are filled with love, joy, and happiness, even the sad ones that are cozy and make us feel hugged or missed. If you have a dog you have experienced many of these moments expressed in the stories. I loved many. Now I open the book on a random page and reread the stories to help me smile on an overwhelming day.
Thank you so much publisher and Nergalley for this e-arc.

"Each dog," Dad says as we stroll, "shows us that love isn't just for a moment. It's for always."
What a beautiful book! A beautifully simple interpretation of
I Corinthians 13 that adults and children will find meaningful. This nana and retired pastor definitely recommends it. Thanks #NetGalley.

This is an incredibly sweet book, perfect for children, or for any dog-lover. It teaches lessons of love, patience, kindness, duty, hope, trust, etc. through stories of how dogs approach life and show up with unconditional love. As a dog-person, I found this really sweet and endearing.

Sorry, but I do not review books that have AI-generated content in images or text, even if partial. It's against my review policy. I wish the blurb had specified this.
I am sure the title will attract the right readers who don't have any qualms about AI content.
Netgalley requires me to leave a star rating, so I will hit the midway mark. I shall not review this title anywhere else.

Oh be still my heart! This book was precious and made me realize how much love I have for my pups and the love they have for me. This book has some great teachable lessons that are relatable and understanding. The art work was also amazing and adorable 🐾

"Each page of our story is a glimpse into the heart of love, just as it is described in that famous book, shown through the simple, joyous lives of our pets."

Thank you to NetGalley and DreamWovenBooks for providing me with an ARC of this wonderful book!

While this illustrated book is aimed at children, I think adults can learn a lot from it too. The author did a great job defining love using dogs as examples, which makes the concept easy to understand for children, as they are the prime audience, but also fun and engaging even for older audiences. If we are all as kind and understanding as the dogs in this book, then we might realise that "being kind is more important than being right", just as Daniel Weaver said. :)

All of that being said, I would definitely recommend this book, and read it to my younger cousins.

Oh....(said with a smile as I exhale in delight), I love this. If you've had dogs in your life, the book will surely trigger an array of emotions and memories. Why dogs haven't given up on us mere humans yet is beyond me, but as I write this with my own furry love ball in my lap, I'm glad they haven't. They have subtle lessons to teach us.

While aimed at children, this one has something for all ages. While adult memories will be stirred, children may ooh and aah over the wonderful illustrations. Some made me want to laugh, cry, or sigh, usually all at once. Yes, they're powerful. I honestly can't pick a favorite story (all seem to run to one page with the illustration facing them), the all appealed to me on some level. Each reminds us of the role or value of dogs in our lives, pointing out how they are patient, kind, and sensitive, somehow maintaining that forever bond with humans who may or may not truly deserve such devotion. They genuinely are "man's best friend". Thanks so much #NetGalley and #DreamWovenBooks for giving me this lovely gift of reading and smiling and going aah repeatedly as I went through the book. It was a heartwarming reminder of how much we owe our furry friends.

Dogs are too good for us! No matter how badly we act, they want to respond with overwhelming love. This book uses Christian terms to show how dogs are not jealous or selfish, but sharing and caring.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
