This is such a lovely book that I became totally absorbed in. I haven’t read any of the others in the series but that doesn’t matter as this can easily be read as a standalone. Holly has a busy life with 9 month old Hope and running her sweet shop, plus helping to organise friends Jamie and Fin’s wedding. American, and extremely busy, boyfriend Evan visits, meeting Hope and her family. Things are going really well but Holly knows that Evan will have to leave again soon. Holly’s life has plenty of ups and downs which are actually the main focus of the book. Although at points I found this a little predictable it really didn’t matter as it was full of friendship, community, romance and hope. I loved how everyone supported each other and thought that Holly was a realistic character. Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

Unfortunately this book wasn’t for me. I felt it was a bit cheesy. I loved the set up of a sweet shop, but found the rest of the story boring. Maybe it’s because I haven’t read the others in order to tie into the story, but I was just bored.

Fantastic instalment of the sweet shop series.
Holly is moving on and Ben is proving to be a great co parent, but Holly is nervous going off on Jamis and Finns stay/hen trip. She meets Evan who is rich helpful gorgeous and ticks all the boxes but she meets a face from the past and it all goes mad. People have been keeping secrets from her and she’s trying to do it all herself as usual. Another great visit to all the gang and hoping for a new visit soon
Brilliant read

Ahhhh I've loved everything about this book and this series.

Holly has been on a journey from the start of this series and this book rounded everything off nicely. It was the perfect icing on the cake.

Hannah Lynn has become an instant read author for me and I've loved this series and the Wildflower Lock series and I can't wait to see what comes next.

A Summer Wedding at the Second Chances Sweet Shop is a super cute, fun romance. There was a lot of anticipation as to whether or not we would get our Happily Ever After. I really enjoyed it!

This plot does really great job of mixing sweet romance, inviting characters, and fun locations. Cute romance.

Holly works and owns a sweet shop in the Cotswolds and had an amazing bunch of friends and family. The book follows Holly as she negotiates an accident , betrayal and love.

She negotiates an accident , betrayal and love. Not altogether cheesy but the author keeps you guessing if the girl get her man? Thanks also to NetGalley

A real feel good read. With the beautiful backdrop of the Cotswold countryside and the delightful sweet shop what could possibly go wrong? Well this is Holly and of course not everything goes smoothly, with secrets unfolding and plans going awry. Overall a cute romantic read, just what I expected from this lovely author.

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Publishing for this ARC

Another lovely story about Holly and the second chances Sweet shop. This is just after the hen weekend from the last book and the wedding is fast approaching but will everything go to plan?

I really enjoyed this book. It is so good to read about decent people. I liked the characters, even the busybodies like Kathy from the bird park. It is great to be part of a community where people look out for you. I also liked the scene of the story, the beautiful Cotswolds, and I enjoyed the author's style.
It is a heartwarming story. I can recommend to everyone.

A Summer Wedding at the Second Chances Sweet Shop by Hannah Lynn is book 6 in the series. Holly and Hope have moved into a small cottage in town. Holly and Ben have made the perfect schedule for Hope. Every thing is falling into place. Even Evan is fitting into her life perfectly. Now Holly is just trying to help plan Jamie and Fin's wedding and manage the sweet shop.
This was the sweetest book. But if the focus of the book was supposed to be the wedding, it wasn't. This was all about Holly. Jamie and Fin's wedding wasn't even a secondary storyline. I liked reading about Holly but some chapters I felt were just rambling about Holly's day to day living. Nothing really happening. I was entertained and enjoyed reading this story but the book and the description didn't really match in my opinion. This is the first book I have read by Hannah Lynn so I didn't read books 1-5 in this series. I don't really feel like I missed anything in the previous books that would prevent me from understanding the story. I did enjoy the story and would definitely read other works by Hannah Lynn. This was in the very cute, Hallmark-like story line. I would recommend this to others. Special thanks to NetGalley, Hannah Lynn, and Boldwood Books for the advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest opinion. 3.5 stars for me.

It was good to be back at the sweet shop again. I enjoyed the book and the characters. Holly does have a few admirers who all want to help her out but I feel that sometimes she can be a bit ungrateful.
She's ready to jump down her mum's throat when she tries to help and she says she loves the former sweet shop owner Maud so much but didn't keep in touch when she moved away and didn't spend any time with her when she returned.
I was a bit disappointed that she seemed to forget Maud was there at the hotel. I know Holly did have problems at that time but poor Maud didn't get a look in.
This is not a criticism its just to say that Holly is far from perfect and maybe in the next book someone should tell her that, lol.
Another good read from Hannah Lynn, I love her books.

I haven’t read any other books in this series but that didn’t seem to matter, this was a good standalone story. Gorgeous romance, I really loved Holly’s character. Cosy up and enjoy

I was thankful the publisher reached out to me to review this book. This is a great installment to the series, really bringing the other installments together and coming full circle with the characters and plotline. This book jived really well with the existing story. This author does a really great job of mixing sweet romance, inviting characters, and fun locations as an integral part of her writing. It's such a feel good story!

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was really sweet. The setting was dreamy. I really loved Holly so much and was rooting for her! This is my first book from this author but won’t be my last. Also, the cover is absolutely adorable!

It was nice to be back once again with Holly and the gang. This time we get to spent a bit more time with Holly, Hope and new boyfriend Evan.

Whilst I thought there wasn’t a solid storyline, it was still a nice read. I thought the plot with Giles was a little over the top (as Hollys reaction was not justified), and overall this whole book could have been a little longer with a bit more ‘oomph’ in it. However having said that it was an enjoyable easy read and I do love reading about Hollys adventures
