I feel a bit of a fraud reviewing this as our school is moving away from the main exam board that seems to influence this quite heavily. However, there are some sensible tips here for students. Perhaps nothing new, but sometimes it's good to get it from a different mouth!

Glow Up Your Grades is a top quality and comprehensive guide for GCSE English students and teachers. It is well-designed (engaging colours, page layout and illustrations), well-structured (starts with information, theories, and gradually builds up, and has sample exercises and questions).
I have not done all the exercises yet, but I read all of them.
I highly recommend this to GCSE students, and those who are teaching creative writing or are students of creative writing to refresh their memories and for inspiration (reconnecting with GCSE and A-level English knowledge is a great exercise in my opinion as an educator and filmmaker/author).
