I cannot believe this series has finally come to an end!

From the very beginning, Rose and Wren captured my heart, and finally reading the conclusion to their story is both beautiful and heartwarming. I’m going to miss this epic world and its characters greatly, but I’m so glad it exists so I can always revisit it.

Thank you, Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber, for letting me be a part of this incredible journey.

"Burning Crowns" is a heartfelt and powerful conclusion to the Twin Crowns trilogy.

This book had me completely immersed and on the edge of my seat. The expansion of the world-building was fantastically done. I adored that in this book we explored new places as well as expanded the lore of familiar ones. The stakes were raised as the final battle approached. Oonagh, as the main antagonist, was a formidable and well-developed foe.

One of my favorite aspects of this book is how the heart of the story lies in its characters. Seeing the evolution of Rose and Wren from "Twin Crowns" to the events of this book was both magical and heartwarming.

Rose is truly one of my favorite characters. Her transformation and character development have been a pleasure to read. I loved seeing how she drew strength from her soft heart while embracing her destiny as a queen and her identity as a witch, fully accepting her powers and her own agency.

I might be biased, but her relationship with Shen Lo is adorable. Reading their love throughout the series has been delightful, and their struggles in this book are beautifully handled, offering both romantic tension and a mature exploration of love in the face of responsibility.

As for Wren, her story arc was so compelling to read. I adored how she faced the challenges of her past and the weight of her ancestry with courage and determination. Her path is less certain than Rose’s, marked by choices that test her loyalty and resolve. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different dynamics between the sisters and how they were masterfully woven together. Their intertwined fates reached a thrilling and deeply moving crescendo.

Not going to lie, the potential love triangle involving Wren, Alarik, and Tor had me worried for a second, but its resolution is handled with care, ensuring that each character’s journey feels authentic.

I cannot write this review without mentioning the incredible supporting cast in "Burning Crowns." Shen Lo, Alarik, Tor, Marino, and Celeste add depth and richness to the narrative. They did an excellent job balancing these characters and their relationships, ensuring they had space to grow while complementing the main storyline without overshadowing it. Their interactions with Rose and Wren are full of warmth, humor, and camaraderie.

I’m going to miss this world and series that has absolutely captivated me. It’s a beautiful story that is both epic in scope and intimate in its exploration of love, family, and identity.

Thank you to the authors, publisher, and NetGalley for providing me an e-arc as a member of the street team

Absolutely in awe of this jewel of a book! It had everything I needed at the time: high stakes, adventure, the sea, and my favourite twin princesses. This rollercoaster was a magnificent end to the trilogy and I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion.

Can’t wait for the spin-offs!

This was a lovely way to end the trilogy. It was action packed with twists and turns at every corner. At no point was I bored while reading this, and everything was wrapped up so nicely in the end. Of course it helps when the couples I was rooting for got together. All in all a great, easy read.

3.5 Stars Rounded Up
Thank you to the publisher for granting my wish to read this one!!
This is the final book this trilogy. I’m kind of sad that it’s over. I loved the plot twists that were thrown at us as some I really didn’t see coming.
The book was set at a fast pace and there’s definitely plenty of action. I felt that the book overall was wrapped up nicely and didn’t leave me with and questions.
I love the dual POVs between the twins as I feel it adds a lot more to the story. It gives you a little extra and helps move the book along. It also gives you a strong sense of how they’re feeling and more of an insight into the twins.
I do feel a little disappointed with how this book ended and I felt the love triangle was just a no for me. I don’t usually mind a love triangle but I felt that at points it was the main focus of the book. I don’t know why but I wanted a different outcome.
I did still enjoy the book trilogy overall and do recommend this series.

Thank you to Netgalley, the Author and the Publisher for an eARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

What a beautiful and heartbreaking conclusion to the trilogy!

It’s not actually super heartbreaking at the end, but I definitely felt many emotions throughout the book! I loved being back with all the characters I have grown to love in all 3 books.

I loved seeing Wren and Rose’s sister relationship grow, as well and each of their relationships. I absolutely loved Shen and his protectiveness, and I for once really liked the love triangle between Wren, Alarik and Tor. I would’ve been happy with either choice but sad for the other, but I think in the end I am happier with who Wren did end uo choosing.

The descriptions really made me feel like I was there with them, the magic seemed so real, and the tension was so high throughout, but really loved the funny parts too!

The villain, Oonagh, was really creepy, and I think she was amped up even more this book, and her arc was well written, and the ending actually made me quite happy, it wasn’t what I expected but I did like it.

This was a perfcet conclusion and I can’t wait to see what Katherine Webber and Catherine Doyle write together next! A definite 5 stars for both this book and the entire trilogy!

This is the epic conclusion to a trilogy that I’ve just come to adore!

This is a book full of sister relationships, magic, kingdoms on the brink of war, sweet romances that sizzle, tension and character chemistry, curses and much more!

Every time I pick up a Twin Crowns book I just expect to have a good time. It’s everything I love about YA with content that fits the genre.

I fell in love with each sisters distinct personality as they work through the obstacles to rule and fall in love along the way. There are so many wonderful side characters as well that only make the books even better.

This series finish exceeded my expectations and ended just like I hoped it would.

I am so excited that we will be getting more standalone books from this world. SIGN ME UP! Also we should give a standing ovation to these beautiful covers.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC of 'Burning Crowns' by Katherine Webber and Catherine Doyle.

The conclusion to 'Twin Crowns' has come and my goodness was it worth the wait. Battling Oonagh, Rose and Wren deal with love and friendships ontop of just trying to survive. Would I say this book is as good as the first two? Probably not, but I still thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The ending was nice and happy, with both our twins having their happily ever after. I just thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Really good ending to the story, bit late for a love triangle but loved how it ended up!

Felt like the characters didn’t really take time to experience everything just move on quickly!

Never have I been so evenly split in my love for either side of Wren’s love triangle- Tor and Alarik. Either way the guy she chose was going to make me happy but also sad for the one not chosen 😭 but their interactions as a trio of friends was HILARIOUS. The banter was spectacular.

Rose’s POV was pretty strong this time round but I was still captivated by Wren’s story. Rose’s character really grew and strengthened.

P.S once you notice this detail, you can’t unnotice it. But EVERYTIME there was a kiss, tongue is mentioned. Every. Single. Time. It’s clearly a key word. “Their tongues touched” “brushed his tongue against hers” “tongue slipped into her mouth” EVERY KISS SCENE

I’m not usually against this, mind you. But it just became a little too much when I noticed it every time.

But damn you guys, the story is so fast paced and thrilling. I felt like I couldn’t sit because of nerves but all I wanted to do was go back to the book as soon as I could. I devoured it.

Oonagh is definitely one of the creepiest villains I’ve encountered. Dead army☠️ creepy

This is the finale of the series which follows both Wren and Rose. I enjoyed this book which was a great way to end the series. The story picks up a bit after the second one and there are more conflicts that both Wren and Rose need to solve. I do have to say that this felt more like a Rose book and I really enjoyed seeing more of her character after the first two books. The pacing was wonderful and I really enjoyed how the authors got a bit more into their world.

In this book we get more of Rose and Wren with their own conflicts going on that affect them both. I really enjoyed seeing more of Rose and the way she develops throughout the story. I do have to say for Wren that I felt her development was more lacking but we did see her’s more in the previous books. There were a lot of side characters in this book and I enjoyed seeing more of Shen Lo. There was romance in this book but it was very light as the story focuses more of the sibling bond.

The ending was well done and I’m happy with how the FMCs ended up. This was a wonderful series and I really loved the characters from this book. I’m excited to see what else this author duo comes out with because they have a fantastic writing style when it comes to fantasy. This story is perfect for fans of Serpent & Dove and note that SJM says this series is amazing!

Thank you so much to Netgalley, Farshore, Electric Monkey and the Authors for granting my wish to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

What an amazing conclusion to the Twin Crowns trilogy. This final book had such a gripping plot and I was hooked. I have immensely enjoyed following both Rose and Wren’s personal journeys through the book and entwined stories. I found myself not wanting this book to end. I will for sure be rereading this series again.

The plot in this final book was epic. I was in love with all he side characters of this book and would love to see more books set in this world. It was the perfect ending to an amazing YA fantasy trilogy.

Hoping these authors continue to write together in the future.

A fantastic conclusion to a wonderful series!

Picking up where we left off in Cursed Crowns, Burning Crowns sees Rose and Wren fight their dead ancestor to break the curse Wren and King Alarik placed on the kingdom. But it’s not as easy as it might seem.

I loved this book and where all the characters ended up. Rose and Wren are true queens, and there’s so many fantastic side characters in this series.

This was such a fantastic series and I’m sad to see it end.

Thank you NetGalley and Farshore for the ARC.
