The explanations are kinda boring... However, I love love love the artworks. Those are really beautiful. Thank you netgalley for providing me the arc.

I always love the illustrations in these books, but especially in this one! The content was easily digestible and I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all when reading through it. I like that the authors focused on one adventure in each state and added interesting facts about the nature and wildlife in that area.

“50 Adventures in the 50 States” is chock full of serious adventure! Author Kate Siber suggests seriously active adventures for each of the states. Think ice-climbing, snorkeling, scuba diving, white water rafting, and more. The more tame adventures feature hiking the Appalachian Trail or a bike ride across the state of Iowa.
There is much to see on each double-page spread since Siber includes tidbits about the natural environment of each state. The illustrations are compelling. At the end of the book there are suggestions for adventures in your own neighborhood too.
Classroom Considerations: This book is a must have for the elementary classroom and would be a great addition to the middle school or high school social studies classroom. This book emphasizes the natural environment in each of the states and will hopefully encourage kids to get outdoors.
I received an advance review copy from NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you net galley for the early copy .This is a great book for school aged children .I liked how the author did the states in alphabetical order.I learned facts from states that I did not know .It was fun to see what facts were about my home state.I loved how colorful the illustrations weee in the book. I could see a teacher using this book in her class for history and geography.

Even though it’s right in the title, I somehow didn’t realize before opening this book that they were going to select one adventure for each state. I love the illustrations, and the various adventures will definitely spark curiosity and excitement in young travelers that pick this up. I like that it also provided a handful of adventures that kids can try close to home. I’m sure that the first thing each person will do is flip to their home state to see what was chosen!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

50 Adventures in 50 States is a fun children's book that talks about each state. There are different facts about each state as well as a fun thing to do in the state.
I really liked this book! It had a lot of good information for the kids. Everything is described in a nice way that kids will be able to understand. The pictures are all really nice too. There are a lot of fun colors and I loved the font choices as well. Everything was nice to look at and I think the kids will enjoy it. I would love to see this book in print because I bet it looks even better in person.
I would recommend this book for any kid that enjoys learning about the US. I think this would be a good gift for kids because it has good information and it is fun to look at! Thanks so much to netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Wide Eyed Editions, Wide Eyed Editions for the arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Beautifully illustrated, this book is a must for all young adventurers especially those trying to do something fun at each of the 50 states. Filled with informative details that are nicely spread out throughout the page, the book spotlights a specific place and/or activity to do and partake in. You’ll find yourself very eager to go to each one!

I love working with kids and getting them excited about history and the outdoors. This book would be fun way to discuss the states with someone doing a project on different things the states may have, but if a parent/family member were to give this book to a child, the information is a little lacking. I love the variety of the activities this book provides and the small historical references it makes, but if a family were to try to use this book as a "checklist" of activities to complete, it would be missing things like a list of locations where you could do the suggested activity and a map of where those locations are within the state. Another thing that would be helpful would be a "suggested time to complete" the activity. Some of the activities are something you can do for an hour or two in the afternoon or evening (like stargazing or watching fireflies), but others would require days, weeks, or months (like biking across the state of Iowa or hiking the AT). The one thing this book completely knocked out of the park were the illustrations. The artwork is fantastic, and even the color choices and fonts seem to showcase different aspects about the state. This book is absolutely gorgeous; I just wish it would have been a little more like a bucket list tracker/planner.

As far as 50 states boos for children go this book definitely stands out for it's gorgeous illustrations. The text for each state was well researched but leaned a bit towards boring though.

Another great volume with this book, lots of fun ideas with really fun and enticing pictures. Each state is again represented beautifully, focusing on their landmarks, fun places to visit, as well as interesting facts. This is a fun book for kids, but also adults, too! I know I learned some fun facts I hadn't already known while reading this.

WOW! Such a beautiful book!! The illustrations are amazing and incredible, the text is accessible, informing and interesting (I’m an adult not living in the USA and I learned things reading this book)!
It is really a great book that I would recommend, especially in classes!

I loved this book! My son and I read it together and he was so engaged. The illustrations are eye catching and keep a child’s attention easily. The little tidbits of information are easily digestible and fun for children and adults. I definitely learned things I never knew! I’d love to have a hard copy of this in my sons room so we can read about states as we visit them!

This book is an adorable book that teaches young children about the United States. I think I would've enjoyed this book as a young girl. I think this book should be added to classrooms all across the country.

Thank you!

All the artwork is crazy beautiful! Really gives each state its own personality and easy to remember which state goes with the picture. I didn't know indiana had big fishing stuff going on. Loved there most my life and never fished 😅

Thank you to NetGalley for this advance copy of 50Adventures in 50 States by Kate Siber. This book has an entry for each state which includes beautiful illustrations and one event whether it is hiking, boardwalks, nature, rock formations.fishing etc that sets apart from other states. There are little facts about each state too.Perfect for elementary students to adults who want to learn more about our great country.Lots of information!

I really enjoyed this book. The illustrations are great and the activity recommends are off the beaten path. I’ve lived in Tennessee my whole lift and learned something new about my state from the book. I think kids will really enjoy this one and be inspired to go explore!

This is a beautifully illustrated book. The book is full of fun activities that both children and adults will enjoy. I was a bit disappointed with the activity for Oregon. Oregon has so many amazing things to do and foraging for food seems so generic. Overall, an interesting book for young readers.

I loved this book! Colorful and full of fun adventures for all the states! Definitely an automatic buy for book loving kiddos!

This book is gorgeous! I absolutely fell in love with the illustrations. I also loved the adventures that were selected for each state and the facts that accompanied them. This book is a must have for the family that loves to travel with their children!

I love the art in this book. The facts about each state would encourage kids to get out and explore. The ideas for exploring the area where you live is really neat.
Perfect for 4th/5th grades as they are studying the states.
This book would also be an excellent book to pull out before a road trip to find out interesting things about each state.
