The author gives you a fun and innovative look at the facts around alien encounters. It gives recipes on out of this world cookies you can make as well as to make your own constellation. But I also enjoyed that the author gives us the history of the discovery of the stars by scientists such as Copernicus and Galilei so that the reader has a better understanding of whether or not aliens exists.
Very cool!
Who doesn't love aliens 👽
I loved the tone and quirky way of speaking with some spacey jargon. Very appealing visually and easy to read. Absolutely fascinating and fun! So much is covered.

“My cat does not approve” (a reference to a detail in the book)
Hilarious, does not take itself too seriously, quirky.
The illustrations are top-notch.
Certainly for older kids, teens, and adults who love aliens and stories around aliens.
I was glad that the book was by no means imposing that we shall believe and claiming that ETs exist.
Cleverly written and researched, SIGHTSEEING WITH ALIENS is third in the A Totally Factual Field Guide to the Supernatural Non-fiction Series for Children. Investigating Space, UFO History, Science Fiction, and the History of Science, this adorable illustrated book also includes experiments and recipes to be explored at home.
“Sightseeing with Aliens” by Insha Fitzpatrick is such a fun read! This book is perfect for any middle grade child who loves aliens. I think it would be a bit difficult to read aloud to a younger child, because of its length and content. However, there are wonderful illustrations in this book. I learned a lot about aliens and related matter in this book. I think it does a really good job of going over the basics, like crop circles, while also including fun things like instructions to make a bottle rocket! If I had a child interested in aliens, or just science in general, I would definitely get this book for them.
