I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one but I enjoyed it. I liked how the art and the story. I also liked the way it resolved all of the storylines. The characters were well fleshed out and I was interested in the way things turned out. It was more blunt than I was expecting but I was down for it. Definitely a cool read.

The artwork was well drawn and the story was intriguing and very interesting. A new social app allows everyone to satisfy their cravings, but quickly turns to chaos and destruction. A group of friends has to uncover the truth behind this app and the reason it was started. Had me hooked until the end. I really enjoyed reading the whole series.

Alright listen, I absolutely knew what I was signing up for here. This is an erotic thriller so if you don't want to read gorgeously drawn erotica, stay away. The beautiful imagery was absolutely stunning, and my favorite part of the read! Unfortunately, the plot itself was...laughable. But we're not reading this for plot, right? Everyone at the college was extremely horny to the point that there were just intense makeout scenes in the back of every scene where they're just walking through the halls. Everyone is using this new app called "Crave" to fulfill their desires, which are mostly sexual in nature...but the writer clearly doesn't have a background in computer science and the app may as well work off of sunshine and orgasms with the amount of sense The whole thing makes. I wish instead of focusing on the details of this myster ous app the book had focused a little more on character and give them a reason they are all horny for each other besides everyone being unspeakable hot. But alas, it's simply not that kind of book! So go in for the gorgeously illustrated erotica because that is stunning. But don't expect substance anywhere else.

it’s giving black mirror and that alone is five stars, but the art style has a vintage with a touch of modern vibe (i can’t explain it ok it just looks like a classic comic but made for today. i love it), lgbtq rep, sex positive, chaotic, a lil bit of a nail biter, ugh! yes!

The art style was great, totally reminded me of the intro to Grease or a 70s artbook, more of this please! I think this is a great concept for a graphic novel, but issues 1-3 need a much more through edit. I struggled to follow the plot with an ever changing point of view: before I could understand who a character was, it would switch to another. Also in the second issue I believe they used an "I thought you were a lesbian" trope which never sits right with me.
Throughout the series you see college students quickly abandon their morals and succumb to mass hysteria, which I thought was unrealistic, then I remembered how college is basically a mass hysteria episode itself.
Many of the above issues are redeemed in issues 4-6, which felt must more consistent and coherent than the original three, especially in the sense that I started to develop meaningful connections with the characters. The introduction of Dagg and her sex dungeon was FANTASTIC and I love all the aesthetics surrounding her and her kinky witchcraft.
In addition, this was promoted to me as being in the LGBTQ+ category, which I do not think it belongs. Only a handful of side characters are remotely queer, plus a main character quitting lesbianism for a man pretty much solidifies this as not a queer series.

This was a interesting reading. I enter without a idea of what it was but. I enjoyed the plot and was interesting I totally get the black mirror vibes from the comic and the app. Is pure science fiction work and Is kinky.

An erotic thriller of a mini series comics. It is a blend of the “Nose Dive” and “Hated in the Nation” episodes of Black Mirror where an app satisfies the sexual cravings of law students at all means necessary. It is a short run, with the potential of a second series but I think this had a natural, ambiguous ending.

Enjoyable read. I enjoyed the art style, the drawings of Alexandra are beautiful. Definitely gives black mirror vibes with the warning about the app, Crave, and the following chaos that ensues.

This was an interesting one for sure! An app that helps you meet your sexual desires involving people on your school's campus is definitely wild. The concept wasn't a bad one. I did get a black mirror vibe from this series.

Book 1: So this is a good example of you need to read the synopsis and not just get books/ comics/ graphic novels based on their cover art ahhaa. I didn’t realize this was an erotic comic, not that I’m offended but I didn’t know what I was getting into. I quite enjoyed the story of having a random dating app show up on your phone and it wants to know what you crave then it gives you instructions on how to do so. I actually liked this art style as well. I’m on to book two.
I’d recommend this to graphic novel lovers who want to think outside the box as far as a dating app/ social media.

Book 2: I’m still enjoying this story and the format of the graphic novel and I adore the artwork. Now Crave is really taking off and it’s wild what people will/ won’t do to get their cravings to happen. Peter pressure at its finest. On to book three.
I’d recommend this series.

Sofia is my favourite character. She is smart and beautiful. I want to continue with this series. I’m enjoying the story and the artwork.

I devoured this book, the story is highly addictive and captivating. I genuinely felt like I was watching an episode where Black Mirror meets Nerve as I read. Great storytelling that then is used to highlight the issues of current technologies— not a far-fetched or otherworldly tale but something we live with every day.
Although I believe the illustration style aligns well with the plot, it wasn't of my taste. Plus, there were moments where I felt it leaned too heavily on the explicit content, despite it being a central theme of the story.
Overall, I enjoyed it immensely. It's a quick, fun read (with some horny college students), and I'll be keeping an eye out for the rest of the stories because I want to learn more about Crave.

Crave
I absolutely love the concept of this graphic novel, I feel like it opens up such an important discourse especially with how digitized our world is. This comic also lends itself to a bit more contemplation with dating and how instant society is and the dangers within that. This book starts out with this new app that can make anything that you want happen. Which honestly doesn’t seem that far off because it interlinks with all of your socials and then basses its calculations off of its learner data and then either tells you it can’t make it happen or gives you some insight on how to get your dreams. I feel like this comic would be fantastic as a movie or screen adaptation especially with how stunning the visuals are. I don’t know if this comic is shortened but we don’t really get invested into the characters and their storylines feel extremely rushed and flat, if we cared a little more about the characters I could see myself loving this comic even more. The graphic nature of this comic is also interesting, like I didn’t mind it but I feel like graphic content in this context should be beneficial to they story progression and ultimately move things forward but for this comic it just seemed like a grab factor like “look at this they’re all hot and doing kinky things.” And it didn’t help the story in my opinion. Overall this comic is a solid 2.5 maybe 3 if the dialog was a bit more interesting and we were able to invest more into our characters, the explicit scenes were more meaningful and we got to see more character development. But overall and extremely fun and quick read and I will tune in to see whatever happens with this comic series for sure
