I've been looking forward to reading this book ever since I finished "Mixed Signals," and it completely surpassed any and all expectations that I had.
The cozy small town, strong community, found family element of the series was stronger and even more heartwarming in Business Casual. Before the romance, that aspect is the most beautiful part of this entire series and it shone even brighter in this book.
I adored Charlie & Nova. They may be my favorite couple yet. They were both real and flawed and raw individually, and together they were the most relatable of all the couples just because of their anxieties and insecurities. I love that it wasn't "miscommunication"- it was more of a "struggle to communicate" that was resolved in a realistic and incredible touching way. The entire relationship was perfect, and stayed true to the characters and their personalities as they were introduced in the first three books. The romance was incredible- I loved the way that it developed and grew as the characters came into their own as individuals.
The most touching part of this book, though, was Charlie and how BK Borison portrayed ADHD. Thank you, B.K., for showing that people with ADHD can still be organized, successful, and driven. I have never related to any character, in any book I have ever read, as much as I related to Charlie. The ADHD representation in this particular way catapulted this book from a 5 star read to a top shelf, crown worthy, all-time favorite.
A perfect conclusion to a wonderful series. I couldn't have asked for more.

Absolutely perfect, loved every second. A beautiful way to end a beautiful series. I could not have loved these characters any more.
I’ve said it in every review of this series and I’ll say it again, this woman knows how to write one hell of a MMC. First Luka, then Beckett, along came Caleb and now Charlie? I’m done. I can die happy in the knowledge these men were written into existence and this series will forever be a favourite for me to shout about.
Business Casual brings more loveable characters, more banter that has you laughing out loud, more sweet spice and more moments that make you want to tear your heart out and hand it over to be devoured by both the characters and B.K Borison herself. I cried real tears, with that literal tug in my heart for Charlie.
Nova and Charlie together are so precious I couldn’t get enough of this book. It was the perfect length for a love story, leaving you desperate for more but grateful for how much you were given.
I’m so sad this series is over, but equally can’t wait to read them all over again!

I noticed a few typos, but aside from that, there's not much else to say except that I absolutely adored this book. It was my first time reading this author, but it certainly won't be my last. I'm currently battling a terrible flu and I genuinely believe I wouldn't have made it through the first few days without the story of this couple. The author's words felt like a warm hug on a cold day, comforting and reassuring. Charlie and Nova are wonderfully flawed, delightfully funny, and their flirtatious banter is just fantastic. They came across as incredibly dynamic and authentic characters to me. I wholeheartedly loved this book and can't wait to delve into more of her work.

Let me start by expressing my adoration for these books. They've become my go-to escape this year, crafting a contemporary fictional realm that feels both palpably real and delightfully fantastical. In conversations with a friend, we marveled at how this series stands out in the realm of contemporary romance. Its seamless incorporation of details and intricate world-building, reminiscent of fantasy and science fiction, blurs the lines between fiction and reality. And the characters—flawed yet utterly human—only add to this immersive experience.
But enough about the flawless world-building and characterization; let's dive into the romance. Have you been eagerly awaiting the pairing of Nova and Charlie as much as I have? The flutter of excitement began from the very start with these two, and I wouldn't expect anything less from B.K. Borison. She's a master at weaving those fluttering moments of romance.
On a personal note, my admiration for Nova knows no bounds. She's simply phenomenal. I adore a woman who wields sarcasm with finesse, where wit and humor reign supreme over bitterness and conceit—kudos to Borison for capturing that essence.
I'm enchanted by Nova's obliviousness to Charlie's true intentions, mistaking his affable demeanor for mere flirtation with everyone. Little does she realize his near-obsession with her (for the record, a touch of obsession in romantic pursuits, especially in the beginning, gets my approval). Charlie's boundless enthusiasm is infectious, albeit occasionally overwhelming, yet it never failed to elicit smiles, laughter, and contented sighs from me throughout the entire book.
I'll restrain myself from dissecting every chapter—spoilers are best avoided—but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Charlie's heartfelt confession towards the end, where he embraces the fragments of emotions from those around him. Oh, it struck a chord deep within me! Typically, by the final chapter of any book, my butterflies have fluttered away, leaving me with a sense of curiosity about the resolution. Yet, this time, I was gripped by a full-blown butterfly attack right up to the very last paragraph. It's a rarity, but oh so satisfying when it occurs.
In short, READ THIS BOOK! Better yet, read the entire series. I hold them all in equal esteem. Don't delay—dive in now!

I loved it, I loved Charlie 💗💗
.
I regret putting off reading the author's books, but maybe this was fate. Maybe I was supposed to know Nova and Charlie first. Now I can go and see all their interactions in the previous books knowing how adorable they are together. Charlie is a sweetheart, perfect cinnamon roll MMC, I love him.😍
.
I don't know how I came to read two similar books, Just for the summer and this one, but it did and I loved it. 💗🥲
.
Nova and Charlie were not supposed to catch feelings when they entered a casual relationship but the universe has other plans and I wholeheartedly approve 🫰🎆🎉🎊They are perfect together.
.
“Take the cupcake. The cupcake is here for you. You asked for the cupcake before, remember? But the cupcake was being stupid and didn’t say the right things.”
.
I mean how can I not laugh! Charlie is such a sweet guy, I was laughing and giggling at multiple places. He takes care of everybody and recommends historical romances - I rest my case, he is THE BEST!!
.
I am not forgetting Nova, she is someone who understands Charlie, an independent, tattooed FMC who can stay shoulder to shoulder with Charlie in banter.
.
💗 Small town romance
💗 Cinnamon roll MMC who thinks he doesn't deserve love, but deserves all the love in the world.
💗 Tattooed, independent FMC
💗 Casual relationship turns to true love
💗 Banter and LOL moments
💗 I want to be part of the phone tree
💗 Taking care of sick FMC
💗 Spice 3🌶️

Thanks to netgalley and Pan Macmillan for the e-ARC.

I always love returning to Inglewild! Small town romances are my cup of tea. The banter between Nova and Charlie is just on point! B.K. Borison keeps on growing in her character creation. With Borison it’s not just about the main characters - the side characters are also well thought out and make lots of entries. The phonetree also makes a comeback which is a lovely story addition.I was very invested in our main couple, their trials and small victories. . The embarrassment I felt when Nova tried seducing Charlie in the first chapter! There was a drop in my interest in the middle of the book - after some confusion our couple went through - hence my 4.5 stars rating. The ending of the lovelight farms serie came along nicely though with a cameo of all couples. I can honestly say I’ll be looking forward to whatever story Borison will write in the future.

One thing captivates me the most: the setting and the food. OMG they're enough to.make me stay until the end ❤️
The story is light, with unexpectedly rather heavy topic. I can relate to the characters in some ways :(
I surprisingly love the side characters more than the main characters (sorryyyy), but I still love both main characters. The plot and ending is satisfying. I recommend this book for light reading on a cloudy day ☕️

⭐️ All the stars for this masterpiece and for anything that B. K. Borison writes, honestly!!! 🌟 I feel that my review of this book should be summed up in two words: Charlie and Nova. 📚 Because that’s about it. Charlie and Nova are incredible and my new fav couple. 💑 All the love for them. Truly perfect. I love them with my heart. ❤️ Their banter, their connection, their chemistry!!! Every little detail about them is beautifully written. 🥰
Charlie and Nova are both so relatable and likable. I’m obsessed with them!!! 😍 It’s really hard to put into proper words how perfect this book actually is and how much I love them and their story.
It was perfect from start to finish. Being back at Inglewild felt like coming home. 🏡 B. K. Borison wrote the small town romance book of my dreams!!! I just can’t wait for you all to read this masterpiece!!! 📖 My review could only say his name and it would be enough to describe my feelings.
I cried a bit, and then I cried some more, and when I thought I was all cried out, I wasn’t. 😭 I don’t know if I related more to these characters, or if it was because of the story in particular, but it doesn’t really matter. This was PERFECT!
Thank you B. K. Borison for giving us Lovelight and all of these wonderful characters that truly feel like family. 🙏

5 stars ⭐️ all the stars for this masterpiece and for anything that B. K. Borison writes, honestly!!! I feel that my review of this book should be: Charlie and Nova

I do enjoy the style of writing from BK Borison. You just always know you are getting a fun and enjoyable read. I would reccomend this.

Pan Macmillan - thank you SO much for the privilege of sending me this arc! Oh my… the emotions I felt finishing this book! Borison has a unique way of transporting you into these beautiful and happy worlds. The Lovelight series is so special and this book did not disappoint.
I really connected to both of the main characters. They both had nothing but good intentions the whole way through. I never stopped routing for Charlie and Nova’s happy ending. Be prepared to be giggling, squealing and ADDICTED to this book and the characters.
I loved the world that was created in this book and I am so sad this series is over - but what a send off!

This author is known for her amazing visual descriptions that drag you right into the story. You can feel the touches.
You feel the emotion and energy. You can feel the character's connections like you were a part of it all.
Business Casual is another wonderful example of that deep connection that builds between two people. It's more than a love story. It's a deep dive into finding your soulmate. It's a sensual romance at the cellular level that makes you wish and pray that your relationships become like that too.
Once again this author has made a mark on me. I love reading romance just like. It's also about family and friends and that support you never knew you needed.
If you have not experienced a Borison book, what are you waiting for? Swoony, sweet, gooey, fun, obnoxious, and forever in your heart!

Holy-Moly... what a way to end the Lovelight series! So anyone who knows me knows that 1. This series is one of my faves ever and 2. In the Weeds is one of my fave romcoms ever. Well well well, Business Casual has officially shoved ITW straight out of the way and is EASILY one of my favourite romcoms to ever exist. This book has it all. Laugh out loud moments, emotional damage, cuteness overloads, THE PHONE TREE, and characters who are so insanely relatable that it hurts.
Things I loved:
- Charlie... everything about Charlie... I would take a bullet for Charlie. I don't want to, but I will.
- The way BK Borison transports us to this small town and how we end up feeling so immersed in the magic of Inglewild and its people.
- How much I related to both Nova and Charlie. Charlie's ADHD (HELLO), anxiety, need to feel liked, Nova's pride, need to be enough to make people proud. Urgh, squeeze my heart into pieces.
- The spice was... SPICING phew. Delicious
I truly can't think of a better way to end the series. This was absolute perfection
Thank you Netgalley for granting me the opportunity to receive the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

As with all the Lovelight farms book this did not disappoint!
I enjoyed literally all of this book!
I am completely in love with Charlie and his cheeky ways. Nova was independent and sassy and I really loved her!
This book had me smiling, laughing and tearing up.
I loved the relationships and the friendships that were so much more than that.
I really hope that this isn’t the end of lovelight farms and can’t wait to see what’s next from B.K Borison!

Thank you to NetGalley for sending me this eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I was so excited when I received this in my inbox, I’ve loved loved loved the Lovelight series! The characters are so fun and the setting is so cosy, it’s basically Stars Hollow, quirky side characters and all! The love stories are beautiful in each of these books, the way the characters are written and how they work through their insecurities together always makes me emotional. This one was no exception! I loved Nova and seeing more of the Porter family, but Charlie!! I love with my whole heart. So relatable but so charming and sweet!! I love how much he cares about everyone else and especially Nova. I love romance novels where the guy is fully obsessed with the girl and can’t think about anything else and this is definitely giving that!
I’ve loved this series so much and I’m really going to miss these characters. I loved seeing the couples from previous books being so happy together in this one. It’s definitely a comforting series I’ll be rereading in the future and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I absolutely love this series so I was beyond excited to be approved for an early copy from Netgalley.
Lovelight Farm books are my happy place. A perfect combination of romance, plot and the feel good factor.
Nova and Charlie are just what we've been waiting for. I didn't want it to end. Delighted to see that the door isn't completely closed for more from this little town. I'll be eagerly hoping for more.

i am so sad that this is the final book in this series. they’re my comfort characters for sure and i absolutely adored charlie and nova. nova is for sure my favourite girly and charlie and beckett are my fave men <33 i hope bk borison writes more romance series forever x

Thank you so much NetGalley for this e-arc. I enjoyed every second of this book!
I absolutely loved how Charlie and Nova's relationship blossomed in this book. Their chemistry was off the charts, and their banter kept me entertained throughout.
And let's not forget about the charming small-town vibes and the lovable side characters! They added so much depth and warmth to the story, making it a joy to read.
Overall, this series has been a delightful journey, and I'm eagerly awaiting whatever B.K. Borison has in store next!

5 bright and warm forever stars !!! I loved this so so much I’m going to struggle to put it into words beyond gushing about how amazing everything was. This was a warm, soft and wholly perfect goodbye to Inglewood. A joy to read in all ways.
Nova and Charlie stole my heart so quickly and effortlessly, I saw so much of each of them in myself and it amplified the story in every way. Their struggles/inner thoughts were mine and seeing them get all that they deserved had me so teary eyed and emotional. I couldn’t be happier for two fictional characters !!! Tears tears tears ok. The fact I cried in public for this should say everything necessary about how touching the writing and characters are.
Nova & Charlie are simply perfect for each other, truly meant to be, and it was a joy to join them on their journey. Funny to hot to tender to adorably wholesome, every step of the way filled my heart. And oh was it hot!! The spice delivered!!
I’m being so sappy but this was actually just a wonderful reading experience and despite the fact I didn’t want it to end, I devoured this at an insane rate. Borison’s writing is impossible to pull away from.
Nova & Beckett’s sibling dynamic had me so soft, he’s the best big brother and all their scenes were so sweet and adorable. I love them and the whole Porter family!! The way they are with Charlie is just the sweetest thing, so healing. The whole of Inglewood is a dream but the characters, no matter how small, are such a treat and perfectly encapsulate the small town good vibes and comfort.
And the tattoos omg!! The tattoos had me in tears all over again, everything was just so tender and soft and adorable and wholesome. Seeing two characters who always wear masks let them down in front of each other and finally find peace together always goes straight to my heart and this did that in the best way. The epilogue too ok, iykyk, but geez B.K just yank my heart right out why don’t you. And the last line !!!! I LOVE when the title comes onto the page and the growth !! My heart couldn’t take it all.
The biggest thank you to B.K Borison, Pan Mac & Netgalley for the eArc in exchange for my honest thoughts. I loved it endlessly!!! Will be returning to this series and this book in particular a lot!

4.5⭐
Seeing this on NetGalley was such a pleasant surprise! I read and enjoyed the first three books in the Lovelight Farms series in 2022 and definitely thought that Mixed Signals was the last we'd seen of this series. I am so glad I was wrong! Business Casual very quickly became my favourite of the Lovelight Farms books for sure! I fell in love with both the main characters almost immediately and loved seeing the development of their relationship! The communication between Nova and Charlie was absolutely top tier and their golden retriever, black cat vibes were simply fantastic! Throughout the whole Lovelight Farms series, I've loved the found family aspect and that was true in this book too. It was so great to see Charlie find his place in the world after feeling for so long that he doesn't belong anywhere, and the way Nova helped him to finally feel like he belonged was beautiful. I'm also a sucker for a hurt/comfort trope and B.K. Borison wrote that perfectly into this novel, while never taking away from the fact that Nova was strong enough to take care of herself even while learning to accept help from Charlie and the rest of her friends and family. I'm sad to say goodbye to this series but I can't wait to reread and fall in love with the books all over again!
