Sometimes, you just need to fall in love with a seasonal romance series and be depressed when it’s over. Welcome back, sad girl autumn. But more seriously, I adored Nova and Charlie–these two are the characters I related to the most in this series. I simply adored them and their relationship!

B.K Borrison once again hooks you in with her characters!
This book had me so much more emotional than I'd anticipated, and knowing this is the last we'll see of Inglewild (for now, if not forever) was just so bittersweet,
Borrison has solidified her place as an auto-buy author for me.
I can't wait to explore what she's going to do in the future, and what landscapes she will create for us to explore!

B.K. Borison has truly made my year with this book. It’s the perfect ending to an incredible series, and I can’t believe it’s over. The romance was beautifully written, and the character development—both individually and as a couple—was spot-on. Nova and Charlie have quickly become one of my favorite romance pairs. Their story was so heartwarming and fun that I know I’ll be revisiting it soon.

I highly recommend this book to anyone, and I can’t wait to see what Borison releases next!

This is perhaps my favorite of this series.

Amazing build up, the ball was in her court.

Nova is the grump and Charlie the sunshine (love that the roles are reversed).

Nova owns a tattoo shop, while Charlie works at an investment firm far away.
They have amazing chemistry that just makes you not able to put the book down.

Small town, opposites attract, friends to lovers.

Lots of flirting.

Ofcourse the Inglewild Phone tree in action.

This series will always and forever be in my top favourite series. It deserves all the stars and then some. Anything that BK Borison touches (and writes) turns to gold, and I will always be here for. it. all!

Charlie and Nova are 🩷🩷🩷 they have my heart! 😭
I thought nothing could've beaten Luka and Stella for me. BK proved me I thought wrong. Because Charlie and Nova? They're my new favourite Lovelight couple. 🥹

Every time Charlie said "Nova girl" I melted and turned into the biggest puddle. I love them, I love them so, so much!! 😭😭

The connection and chemistry between the main characters is off the charts! Their banter? Oh, my heart!
Everything about them is perfect! Charlie came and stole my heart, and I will always trust him to keep it safe.

This book was emotional and I won't lie, reading some things definitely broke me. But truthfully, this story is perfect from start to finish, and I couldn't get enough of these characters. And the cameos? GAHH! I loved every single minute of it.

BK Borison wrote a book that will warm our hearts, and she created this special and magical world that feels like home. Inglewild definitely feels like home, and all the characters feel like the closest family we have. This series will always and forever be my comfort read. I cannot recommend it enough!!

Business Casual by B K Borison

This was my first book by B K Borison and I will not be my last. I found it hard to put it down. I instinctively loved the two main characters, Charlie and Nova (especially Charlie!) wow I thought he was perfectly written and the chemistry between them was perfect. I really need to go back and catch up on the other books in the series now ( I believe this is the fourth!? I'm really late to the party) I really liked the setting of Inglewild and look forward to popping back again soon. Many thanks for this e-arc in return for my honest thoughts and opinions.

I had heard a lot about B.K Borison's novels before I got this one from Netgalley so it's fair to say that I was very curious to finally read something by this author. I really enjoyed Borison's writing style and it was easy getting into the story even though it is not the first in this romance series. It is a cute romance and I enjoyed watching the two main characters grow and will now read the other books in the series.

I absolutely LOVE B K Borison's writing and returning to her beautiful narratives is such a comfort for me. I think it is best going into her books with very little knowledge of the context, so I will keep this review short and sweet. but it melted my heart, ripped it out and stitched it back together again.

Borison is an absolute killer writer, and her characterisation is so personable, honest and multi-dimensional. Every single time I walk into her world, I feel such a sense of belonging and I feel like I know the characters on such a personal level. This book, I really connected with Charlie and felt such a strong bond towards him (and also fancied him quite a bit).

Nova was such an honest character and I really enjoyed the way in which she was so playful, but also serious. It felt so refreshing to watch a female protagonist in a romance novel have some oomph and it was a total dream.

As always, a mesmerising novel from the queen of romance.

Rating : 4,5 stars (rounded up to 5 stars here)

This book truly felt like the perfect conclusion for this series.

1) I loved following Nova and Charlie along for their wild ride! They were the cutest and seeing them grow up, be confident and get together was amazing. Honestly, all the little things, the tiny details in their relationship were just perfect and made them out to be the cutest couple ever. Charlie's just a green forest at this point, and I just want to hug Nova and spend the afternoon chatting up nonsense with her at her studio.

2) In all the other books, we got sneak peeks into the other couples' lives, but this one really felt like we got so much of the side characters and it was amazing. We really got to explore how the other 3 pairs were doing, how they were making their relationships work. Special mention for Beckett here, who was just his amazing self and demonstrated such maturity, it was gold.

Thank you NetGalley, Pan MacMillan and the author for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Business Casual is the fourth book in the Lovelight farm series and follows the story of Nova and Charlie. Initially the two enter into a friends with benefits type situation which they refer to as 'business casual' before eventually falling in love. This book also follows their struggles in their careers as well as their family dynamics and friendships.

I really enjoyed the setting of this book and the fact that it was based in Autumn meant this book felt quite festive which made it a fun read. Borison's writing style is very easy to read and I thought that the pacing of the story was spot on so I got through this quite quickly. I thought that the representation of Charlie's ADHD and Nova's migraines were handled well and as someone who suffers from migraines I like that Nova's felt very realistic and weren't just her having a bad headache but also experiencing all the other symptoms that come along with migraines.

I do wish I had read the rest of the series before this one however I thought that the series was made up of interconnected stand alones so thought I could jump into this one having not read the others. Throughout this book, characters are introduced by name or name dropped with no further explanation of who they are which can be quite frustrating and at the beginning I found it overwhelming as we are suddenly introduced to an entire town's worth of characters at once. Additionally the romance felt extremely rushed however I'm not sure if we get hints of Nova and Charlie in the other books which would make it seem more natural.

This book has a lot of very long, explicit scenes which personally I am not a fan of. In the majority of cases these scenes would span at least two chapters as we get both characters' perspectives on it and the scenes are explained in quite graphic detail. This is purely down to personal preference however I have once again been betrayed by the cute, innocent cartoon covers.

Overall this book was okay but nothing memorable. Perhaps if I had read the rest of the series this book would have landed differently.

I have read this book 3 times since it's release... say no more!

HE IS OBSESSED, oh my days. This could well and truly be my new favourite trope. Also Nova being a lil grumpy make the whole 'he's down bad' even better.

Goodbye Inglewild we'll visit again soon (hopefully).

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my copy of this book!

I really enjoyed this book, a great continuation of the series and I loved both of the characters in this. It’s just a fluffy little romance but with some deeper issues dropped in.

I have always found BK Borisons’ works to be fast reads and I flew through this one!

I love reading books about characters that are literal green flags. I do wish we saw more of the friends dynamic between Charlie and Nova before they became lovers but overall, I loved this!

The Lovelight series by B.K. Borison is one of my favourite romance series, and Business Casual didn't just give us Charlie and Nova's story, but brought all the characters from the previous novels back for a final hurrah. I loved both Charlie and Nova and could connect with the latter's experience of migraines.
Business Casual ticked all the boxes for me: a strong sense of family and community in a small town setting, lots of quirky side characters (the town's phone tree is legendary), funny dialogues and plenty of flirting, diverse rep (ADHD and migraines), and a good dash of spice. If you haven't yet picked up this series, I highly recommend it. Needless to say that I already have my eyes on the author's next series...

Book review 📚
Business Casual by B.K Borison
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It is not surprising that this book has rated 5 stars, when its equally as good as the others in the series. For smaller books, they are seriously impactful. Each and every book in this series is impeccable and absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see where Borison goes next.

Borison is so thorough and thoughtful when writing a book. The emotions are raw and yet handled so well, its truly beautiful. I love how Borison is capable of capturing the emotions of the characters in such depth and detail, it really does make the book come to life.

If you are looking for funny, sweet, cute and cozy then this series is for you.

The perfect end to the perfect series! Lovelight farms is such a gloriously happy place to escape to and I have loved the flow from each of the books as they lead into the next love story. Though the backdrop remains the same, I never tire of the small town trope and the characters within it. It is well and truly a comfort read.

In the final book we follow Nova and Charlie, two characters that are just perfect for each other. This was maybe the easiest love story of them all. They simply balance each other, and fall right into it. It was a very sweet, very pure kind of affection between the two of them and I really liked how this one didn’t mess around with a miscommunication trope. It was a refreshing take on friends to more than friends ;) to lovers.

I’m sad to leave behind Lovelight farms but it definitely feels like a place I will return to, especially around Christmas time. The season of love after all!

A huge thanks to Netgalley, B.K. Borison and the publisher for the e-arc.

This is the final instalment of the Lovelight - series but you can definitely read this as a standalone. I haven’t ready any of the other books yet, but this one just made me even more interested in the other couples and their stories.
Especially because I really enjoyed the small town setting.

Nova and Charlie were the absolute cutest! You can see with each conversation they had, how much they were vibing! Loved the humour, them bantering for the sake of banter, but even more so their flirting.
I was also surprised how much I could relate to Nova’s wish for independence as well as Charlie's insecurities on belonging somewhere and to someone.
Also YAAAAY for migraine representation.

I’m not only excited to read the other books in this series, but also already excited for the author’s next book!

3.5 stars!

Nova Porter isn’t looking for love, especially not with a guy like Charlie Milford. But there’s something about him that draws her in. She’s trying to stay focused, but every time he’s around, she gets totally distracted. So, she comes up with a plan: one night, no strings attached, to get him out of her system. But after their night together, things don’t go as planned. With Charlie sticking around town, avoiding him isn’t easy, and he’s made it his mission to prove he’s worth her time.

First of all, I have to admit that I’m guilty of reading this series out of order! I talked to some fans, and they all said I would’ve enjoyed it more if I had read the previous books first. I have this habit of picking up series out of order because my TBR list is massive, so when a book catches my attention, I dive in. If it hooks me, then I go back and read the whole series.

Let’s just say there’s a strong found family element in this series, and while reading this one, I felt a bit lost—like an intruder with no backstory. Moral of the story: if you want to read this series, start from the beginning.

Anyway, I bought book one a few days ago, and it’s sitting on my shelf. I’ll probably pick it up around Christmas time because it gives me those vibes! I’m giving this series another try, and I’m excited to see if it works better for me!
